Welcome to East Grand Escape, a year round waterfront home. Unique with 2 floors of living and sleeping space. Enjoy your morning coffee & watch the sunrise with amazing lake views into Canada from every window. Bring your boat, UTV or snowmobile for excellent fishing & recreation ALL year long. Large sloping yard on lake side from house to the waters edge. Excellent frontage for swimming in the summer or ice fishing & snowmobiling in the winter, easy walk in lake access.

Had our annual family fishing trip here and it was very comfortable, great parking and a beautiful view. Stephanie was attentive and accommodating. I would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing Cabin & Location

The house was even nicer than expected and the location was perfect for ice fishing (right in front of multiple deep holes). Very easy to get ahold of the property manager which is always nice!

Coming from Chicago we were looking for a place in the middle of nowhere to just get away from everything for a family vacation with the dogs. Words cannot explain how amazing, CLEAN and thoughtful this place is. The house is so welcoming and not a detail went unnoticed. All the things are labeled and a binder explains everything in great detail. The house radiates a true vacation home and we were so blessed to be here!

Anniversary Trip we won’t forget!

Absolutely fell in love with this property. Best views of the lake and access to the kayaks are so generous! The big backyard was a huge hit with our dog. Breakfast in the sun room every morning was a great start to the day. Recommending to everyone visiting the area!

Lake Life in Maine

This place was absolutely gorgeous, both the house and the views were fabulous! Getting to see the sun rise and set over the lake was an amazing experience. The house was wonderful with plenty of room for many people and lots of amenities. Definitely hope to go back one day!

"Ice Fishing Heaven"

Excellent fun escape, Stephanie & Ryan are great, the camp is great, the lake is great. I wish I could stay here all winter. Love storage garage for ATV, and all the ice fishing gear. Plus really good minnow keeper in enclosed area keeps them cool and ready to fish!

Took us 3 years to finally find the perfect vacation spot. It was beautiful and quiet. We had a deer swim right past the dock. All of our needs were met. We lost power the last day but the owners were so amazing and gave us constant updates. Will absolutely book again ❀

Gorgeous, peaceful immersion in nature

This cabin comes well equipped with everything you could possibly need to spend a wonderful, secluded week by the lake. Even with neighbors present on either side, it felt incredibly private and was a place we could really unwind and forget about the hectic pace of life by stargazing, bird watching and warming up by the fire after dipping in the crystal clear lake! It's a really quiet lake, with lots of fisherman and few recreational boaters (there were some folks who were out tubing, etc through the week, so it's clear that you could if you want to, but if you aren't a recreational boaters and prefer trolling or cruising, or just being able to read by the water and birdwatch in peace, it's totally a place you'd be able to enjoy that). The cabin itself is incredibly well appointed and was spotlessly clean - we were grateful and impressed that they even had dog bowls ready on their own little mat! Thank you so much and we'll definitely be back!!

Peaceful and beautiful.

We had a wonderful mini vacation at East Grand Escape. The location is peaceful with breathtaking views. Our host’s thoughts of everything we could need and there were many extras ( coffee, tea, sugar, spices, bowls for dogs, extra blankets and towels). We even had a relaxing rain day doing a puzzle, playing games, dancing with the Wii, and watching a movie. The community and area is friendly and welcoming. Hope to visit again. Thank you.

Perfect getaway

The house was perfect. Just as described in the listing. It was spotless when checking in and literally had everything we might need. Communication was great, also loved that things in the house were labeled! My kids loved the kayaks and being able to fish right from shore. Quiet neighbors. I worked remotely from the house and the connectivity was spot on. We were looking for future dates to stay again before we even left. Will definitely be back!

Vacation wonderland !

Warm cozy and inviting . Everything we could possibly want or need was at the house and easy to find. Stephanie and Ryan thought of everything to make this the most relaxing and short getaway weekend. Beautiful well kept home. warm comfy beds in which I (Pam) had to google where the pillows came from and the heated mattress pad. Ordered them right away and they were delivered the day we arrived home. Found a sled and felt like a 10 year old. the hill going down to the lake was a blast!! Made snowman, snow angels, had a bonfire, stargazed at night and woke up to the most beautiful sunrises. Snowmobiling around the lake and Ice fishing were a few more things we did during our stay at East Grand Lake Escape. We definitely we be returning and staying longer. Thank You Ryan and Stephanie for thinking of everything when your guest need to Escape. BRAVO!!

Born and raised in southern NH. I grew up spending my summers in Maine on Sebago Lake with my family.

My husband and I fell in love with East Grand Lake in the fall of 2020. The peacefulness you feel when you arrive to the quite oasis of northern Maine is like nothing else. We escape to East Grand every free weekend we get. We spend our time boating, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and pretty much anything to do with being outside with our 2 dogs, preferably by water.

We hope you enjoy and fall in love with East Grand Lake as much as we did. Being avid outdoor enthusiasts, this area offers something for everyone. We fell in love with East Grand Lake in the fall of 2020. We take every opportunity to get away up there in the winter to snowmobile and in the summer to relax by the camp fire. Our home has some of the best views on the lake with rare walk-in lake access that you don't find with many properties on the lake.

Waterfront home on the shores of East Grand Lake in Danforth, ME. Unique home with 2 floors offering plenty of space to spread out. Each floor consists of almost identical layouts - One bedroom with queen bed, one bathroom with stall shower - washer & dryer, kitchen, dining table with seating for 6 and living room with queen pullout sofa bed on the main floor. The ground level consists of one bedroom with a twin bed, bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and twin on the top, half bathroom with sink and toilet, full size futon, reclining sofa, pub height table with seating for 6 and a bar featuring an additional fridge and sink. We offer a variety of amenities to our guests;
Board games, puzzles, cards, etc.

Wii gaming console
Starlink Wi-Fi
