Come relax at this tranquil mountain getaway cottage located between the Great Smoky mountains and Blue Ridge mountains.

This newly renovated cottage was designed with the comfort of our family, friends, and guests in mind.

Picture yourself waking up in the morning when your body and mind are ready thanks to the comfy bedrooms that include blackout curtains and a newly installed AC/heating system. Main room has a King size bed, TV with Netflix and Disney+ and a charming bath with tub/shower next to it. Secondary room has a Queen and Twin size beds and half bathroom inside of the room. All linens are provided.

Grab your cup of coffee or tea (both are complementary!) to listen the birds singing while you watch the beautiful mountain view from the fully furnished covered deck.

The cozy cottage offers a well-equipped kitchen to cook a full meal. A washer and dryer located next to the kitchen will bring the convenience of home.

Ready to enjoy outdoor activities? There are many nearby places for hiking/sighting (Waterrock Knob Trail - 30 mins, Soco Falls Trail - 25 mins, Shining Creek Path - 40 mins, just to name a few), skiing/snowboarding or tubing (Cataloochee Ski Resort - 25 mins, Tub World - 15 mins), or kayaking or canoeing (Lake Junaluska - 20 mins). We will provide a digital guest guidebook with more nearby places to enjoy.

After long days of enjoying outdoor activities, prop your feet up and enjoy the screen HD TV in the living room while unwinding. Enjoy Netflix or simply play any of the supplied board games. Don't forget to fire up the charming wood fireplace (free tip: close the fireplace doors and enjoy how the living room turns calid orange)

If you prefer outdoor chatting, grab your cup of wine and fire up the fire pit while you keep delighting yourself with the mountain view. If you are up for grilling, you will enjoy the gas grill at the deck while you still don't miss an inch of the mountain view.

This 900 square foot cottage gives you the opportunity to enjoy your mountain getaway with the confidence of staying in a safe and clean place for the whole family.

You’ll find yourself immersed in nature. It's not unusual to find small bugs inside, especially if doors are left open. Nothing to be worry about though!

We want you to come and relax, enjoy all our space has to offer and just take in your time at the top of this beautiful mountain.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTICE:

*** NO third party bookings are allowed. The person who books the property must stay during the entire stay***

AWD or 4WD highly recommended during snow season. Paved roads get frozen.

We self-managed our property so we will be "one button" distance, if you need us.

The cabin is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Expect a one-way paved road 3 minutes before arriving to the cottage and nearby houses. While you drive around the area you may see some distressed buildings on your way to the property.

Outdoor camera monitoring 24/7 that is used for security purposes only.

Our maintenance company mows the lawn every other week so they might mow it while you are there but they won't do it before 10AM.

HOUSE RULES:
Neighborhood:
- Quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM so please be mindful
- No events, parties or large gatherings are allowed. Violation of this rule will be cause for immediate eviction.

Fireplace & Fire pit:
- While using the fireplace, be certain the damper is open before starting a fire
- Never leave a fire in the fireplace or fire pit unattended. Make sure it is completely out before going to bed or leaving the house.
- Put fireplace tools and accessories out of a young child's reach. Also, remove any lighters and matches

Grill:
- Do not move the grill to any other place
- Shut off the propane tank valve when you finish cooking

General (Violation of any of these rules will be cause for immediate eviction):
- No smoking inside or outside the property.
- No pets are allowed due to severe owner's allergy... we know... very sad :(
- The cabin's maximum capacity is 5 people at all times including outdoor area. No visits or extra guests allowed.
- Must be at least 25 years old to book (photo ID might be required upon check-in).
- If you have kids please be cautious of the deck and fireplaces.

Our cabin was a great escape. The hosts were readily available and responded to our emails quickly. They provided excellent information and details to make it easy to get to and stay there. The home was well equipped and the fireplace was great. Our hosts even provided some firewood as an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to travel to the many surrounding towns.

Loved the Sirius cabin! Communication was excellent, with the hosts providing timely information and following up checking in with us. A *wonderful* deck - would be perfect! w/a rocking chair. We square danced Sunday thru Thursday; the ramp was great for our tired legs. That's hard to find in the area: no stairs, a king bed, 1.5 baths. Plenty of hot water. Road to the cabin is private one-way road. After a bit, we recognized the road signs much more easily. Recommend arriving during daylight hours-the turn off the public road to the private looks a lot like a turn to a private driveway. Kitchen is fairly well equipped; we cook for lunch and eat out at dinner, and did so reasonably easily. Would be great to stock saran-wrap. A little surprising: request is take everything with you or trash it. In other VRBO-s we've had enjoyed things like spices, unused/wrapped butter, etc. that previous visitors left. But, each VRBO is different. King bed is comfortable enough (never like home!) and nice linens. Nice towels too. I do bring my own colored towels for makeup removal to use in addition to those provided. Overall, very happy!

Wonderful Cabin

We came to visit a friend in the area and this Cabin was exactly what we were looking for and more. It’s baby friendly and our 11 month old enjoyed the toys that were provided! Also, the hosts are extremely friendly and the view from the porch is beautiful!

Checking it out for future atays

We were only able to stay a couple nights, but wanted to give it a try before bringing our daughter and her family. This is the perfect set up for us and I am looking forward to a trip next year. Very clean and so convenient to both Maggie Valley and Cataloocee valley. The elk are wonderful!

Great cabin in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area. Everything was clean and the host is very responsive. I would definitely stay again. Also, the host gives out a link to an online guide for your stay. It's very helpful with things in the area, etc. It shows they put a lot of effort into their rental property. So Cozy!!

This cabin was very warm and inviting, the pictures did not do it justice. The views of the mountains were incredible as we sipped our coffee on the porch. It was quiet at night and the black out curtains really worked. Slept like a log. It is convenient to Cataloochee Valley, Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Definitely want to come back!

We stayed at the cabin as we were trying to explore the Waynesville area. It was a great spot to do so. The listing was just as the pictures show, and it was very clean. We didn't use the house too much for much other than sleeping as we were out trying restaurants and exploring most of the day. But the room was dark and the bed was comfortable.We did have a little trouble finding the street the first time, and got very confused by the one-way nature of the street (we were too busy trying to decide which house was the right one to notice which way the one-way sign was pointing and thought it was a loop...oops! Luckily we didn't encounter anyone going the right way when we were wrong). So just pay attention to that - made it so much easier when we did it right!

Rooms were comfortable, nice comfortable beds and covers. Host responded quickly to my messages. Non stick frying pan needs to be replaced, eggs kept sticking. Main bathroom towel rack needs to be repaired, could not hold towel. Need 2 wash cloths to every bath towel so towels don’t need to be washed daily. Very nice and thick towels. Dryer would take over an hour to dry, may need to clean dryer duct.Suggestion to possibly install a set of barn doors infront of washer and dryer so the entry door is not compromised.Overall we had a very cozy stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was the perfect size and the had all the amenities needed for a stay of several days to several weeks. The neighborhood location is secluded and meant virtually no traffic. Anyone interested in this property only needs to look at the photos to know what the experience will be.
