Suite 2 est situé au premier étage et se compose de deux zones spacieuses: la zone de couchage avec salle de bains et la cuisine-salon. La chambre est meublée avec des meubles de qualité et impressionne avec une impressionnante fresque au plafond. Le grand lit double est extrêmement confortable. Le petit balcon attenant mène à une petite rue calme.

Le salon impressionne par son décor et sa décoration extrêmement élégants et de bon goût. Alors z. B. peintures exposées et restaurées sur le plafond, donnent à l'ensemble de la pièce un caractère glamour. Dans cette ambiance, la salle à manger offre toutes les conditions pour passer de merveilleuses vacances - que ce soit pour le petit déjeuner ou un dîner confortable et une bouteille de vin rouge maltais.

La cuisine attenante et entièrement équipée ne laisse rien à désirer. Il offre également de superbes vues sur Grand Harbour. Dans la salle de bain spacieuse et élégante vous serez choyés avec des serviettes et des peignoirs moelleux - que vous vous sentirez très bien même dans ce domaine. Robert, le propriétaire maltais. Il est heureux de vous donner des conseils sur les sites, les bons restaurants et les possibilités de shopping.

Our host was super welcoming and helpful. Took all of his suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Every one, spot on!!Location couldn’t have been better in terms of walking, public transport and amenities. Accommodation was gorgeous and practical.

Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need with stunning views and also ideally situated just on the outskirts of Valletta, With shops, restaurants, bars and Vallettas history right on your doorstep you could ask for a better base for your stay, with wonderful hosts Robert and Mary just a call away if required for any information. Valletta is simply stunning to walk around at any time with always something to catch your eye and we will definitely be back for a second stay at some point.

Ideal position

Perfect location

This was a perfect location, close to the upper barrakka gardens, as well as the main walking streets of Valletta. Nicely appointed, and having the view out across the harbor towards the three cities was wonderful. There was occasionally noise from the upper barakka garden area due to events being held fairly regularly, leaf blowers, etc, But overall we really enjoyed our 8 night stay.

Fantastic stay, great location

Perfectly situated, this property offers views of Upper Barrakka Gardens and the harbour. The host was very helpful. The place is very cleaned and well appointed. It also has the charm and authenticity of a Maltese place. Walking distance to everything there is to visit in Valetta, yet away from the loud nightlife (although you hear the famous canons at noon and 4pm.)

Lloyd House,Exactly as described, a very beautiful property & a with a bonus of a balcony to sit out on in the evenings.Well stocked fridge for your arrival (with water, wine, beer, butter, milk, bread, fruit etc.) a very clean, & stylish suite & the perfect location to explore Valetta.Local to the Grand Harbour to get boat & ferry trips to explore wider areas of Gozo/Comino.Our host Robert was very warm & welcoming & recommended the very best places to visit during our stay (Hypergeum) & also the best restaurants to dine at.We stayed for a week, absolutely loved it & would recommend Lloyd House as the ideal location to stay at, with a great host.This was our 1st visit to Malta & Gozo & would recommend this for your visit.Tony & Hannah (celebrating our 25th WA)Perfect!

Wonderful stay in Malta

My husband and I stayed at Robert’s place for five days. What a beautiful location with stunning views. Robert welcomed us upon arrival and provided some food and drinks. The place is well stocked and was one of the most comfortable places we stayed at during our extended vacation. Easily walkable to all the major sites. We rented a car and found free parking on the street below (short flight of stairs heading south—search Grand Hotel area). Thanks again, Robert, for a wonderful stay!

As Good as Advertised

Beautiful, historic home, in the perfect location for a stay in Valetta and Malta. Our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and happens to be a member of a historic Valetta family. With a beautiful view of the Grand Harbor and looking over the Upper Barrakka Gardens, we could not have been more pleased with the location. Very quiet at night, and good air conditioning. We would definitely come back.

Perfect location

This apartment was in the perfect location to enjoy the delights of Valletta, and within easy walking distance to the bus station for trips about the island. Our host Robert made us very welcome and ensured we had the essentils: tea, coffee, milk bread and fruit to begin our stay. The 'non essentials' wine and beer were also very much appreciated. This apartment is a delight of classic Maltese style, right next to the upper Barrack Gardens. We found it immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a 7 day stay. We hope to return next year.

Great Location

Great location with a view of the harbour. However as a result it has a very steep incline from the front door. Renovation work on nearby houses was continuous. The cleaning fee was exorbitant considering the floors weren’t vacuumed or washed. The Maltese culture and food was disappointing. Our highlight was a tour of Casa Rocco Piccola and both D’Office and Ambrosia Restaurants.

Lloyd House, the Perfect Place to Stay

We were warmly welcomed by Richard and Mary. Our 3rd floor apartment was immaculate, nicely decorated and well furnished. We loved sitting by an open window in the very early morning, watching the boat traffic in the harbor. There is an efficient A/C system once the heat of the day arrives. The bed was comfortable, and linens were of fine quality. Richard was extremely helpful and offered good suggestions for restaurants and getting around the city. We highly recommend The Lloyd House. We will be back!

Superb Views

From the time of booking, Robert was extremely accessible, booking us transport from and to the airport, welcoming us to this light airy apartment, stocked with the grocery essentials to get us going, as well as a Maltese bottle of red and bowl of fruit. We had been upgraded to a more expensive apartment with a lovely balcony, all the way round. We were also able to leave our luggage there after checking out time, as new guests were not imminent The views were wonderful, especially with the sun on the water first thing and floodlit buildings at night. Being in the heart of the city, be prepared for the associated noises, apartment and views out weigh this. Valletta and Malta is quite a change from rural Shropshire, 10 days, as opposed to a week may have given us more time to get into the swing of things We would highly recommend Lloyd House. Thank you for your hospitality, Robert.

Bel hébergement au cœur de La Valette

Appartement plein de charme, spacieux, très bien équipé, avec une déco soignée. Emplacement idéal pour visiter La Valette et pour des excursions (gare routière très proche). This is the perfect location as a home base to explore Valetta, The Three Cities, Gozo. Robert is an amazing host who can point you in the right direction, set up the airport transfer, and recommend where to eat.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Valletta

Das Lloyd House ist die perfekte Unterkunft für eine Reise nach Malta. Kurze Wege zum Schiffsanleger nach Gozo, Birgu usw., zum Busbahnhof und in die Stadt. Valletta kann laut und voll sein. Die Wohnung war ruhig gelegen und ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die alten Holztüren, die grünen Schlagläden, die bemalte Decke und die schönen Fliesen hatten viel Charme. Robert ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns mit vielen guten Tipps versorgt hat und die fantastischen Ausblicke auf den Hafen haben den Aufenthalt nochmals bereichert.

Location, Location, Location!

We didn't actually stay in Studio 2, but Studio 3, which was managed by another couple in the building. It was a fabulously located apartment, making exploring Valletta very easy. I think the two Studios are the same layout, but #3 is on a higher level, so probably has a better view. Our hosts, Robert & Mary, were wonderful and offered suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Thank you for enhancing our stay in Valletta!

A beautiful apartment in the centre of the Valletta

We stayed for a week in Suite 3 Lloyd House. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views from the apartment are fantastic and it is just a few minutes walk from the centre of the City.
