A beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Very happy we chose this apartment, it has everything you could need for a perfect holiday in Malta. The balcony provided a great place to watch the world go by and actually see a cruise ship come past… very surreal watching this while drinking a G&T! The bed is very comfortable with great pillows, kitchen well appointed. The art work is very interesting as well.

This stay was as close to perfect as I could ask. Before and during the stay, all communication with the hosts was quick and easily understood. It was very easy to find the apartment and getting in was simple. The apartment itself far exceeded my expectations. Very spacious with two gorgeous balconies. Everything from the mattress comfort to the clothes washer/dryer function were simply perfect. The location was perfect close to everything you could ask for in Valetta. When I come back to Malta, I will only stay here.

A stunning apartment, beautifully located in the centre of Valletta. We were given a very generous Welcome Pack with everything we could possibly need. Wonderful Apartment

The hosts were a wonderful couple who were very engaging and helpful. The apartment is in the most central location in Valletta, is renovated to a high degree and tastefully furnished. We would highly recommend.

The accommodation suited us as we were two women travelling together. It was very comfortable and well appointed. The hosts Ruth and Nigel were very accommodating with our arrival and departure times. The position was fantastic, right in the centre of everything. Getting around was easy walking or if too far Bolt was really good and reasonable. All in all we had a wonderful time and would love to spend more time in Valletta and would definitely want to stay in the Art Rooms

Fantastic!

I am so grateful to have been able to stay here for two weeks. Ruth and Nigel had excellent communication and they were always available had I needed anything. I was sad to leave but I’ll be back! Perfect location for exploring and in the heart of it all!

We received a very warm welcome at Ruth and Nigel's characterful apartment. It is well equipped with a comfy 6ft-wide bed and a charming, small balcony. The central location was ideal for our needs; but be aware - the street below is lively, with general buzz and music from the restaurants/bars until late. That said, it is unquestionably one of the most attractive streets in Valetta, full of local character and charm; and the earplugs provided worked wonders when we wanted an early night! Highly recommend - thank you Ruth and Nigel.

Beautiful apartment in the centre of Valetta

My husband, adult son and I really enjoyed staying in the art apartment. The location is amazing right in the middle of Valetta close to restaurants, sight seeing places, the ferry and bus station. The apartment is beautiful and although the location is full of action with the doors closed and air con working it was quiet in the apartment. Ruth and Nigel were very helpful and generous with their time.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

Ideal apartment for our visit to Malta, very well equipped and everything carefully thought out to meet our needs. Lovely ambience with quality comfortable furnishings and superb artworks throughout. Perfectly located in a lively central area of Valletta and sitting on the balcony with a drink in the evening was really atmospheric. Ruth and Nigel were the perfect hosts and meeting guests on arrival is a lovely touch and very welcoming, as well as explaining all we needed to know about the amenities, providing folders of information on local attractions and recommendations for some lovely local restaurants. Would highly recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Wonderful Valletta

We absolutely loved our stay in Valletta. Ruth and Nigel are wonderful hosts. The apartment couldn't be in a better location. It is right in the heart of the city. A stone's throw to a myriad of delightful restaurants. Ruth has adorned the apartment with her amazing art. She provided helpful suggestions on what to do in Malta. We spent a day in the three cities and a day in Gozo. The proximity to the ferry was ultra convenient. Can't wait to come back.

Exciting location & beautiful apartment

Loved the apartment, especially being surrounded by the owner's own unique art works. Fabulous location in the very heart of buzzing Valletta, close to everything.The windows look out over one of the prettiest streets in Valletta which is very popular, with many outdoor bars/restaurants. Whilst this is a very appealing prospect, it does mean that the apartment can be extremely noisy from lunch time until past 11pm weekdays & midnight at weekends. This is just fine if you too are a night bird!The hosts are extremely kind and helpful & the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped.

Lovely apartment in centre of Valletta

We spent 5 nights in Valletta and had a lovely stay, The Apartment is close to everything and was perfect for a couple. The little balcony was lovely to sit and have breakfast and watch the locality wake up. Ruth and Nigel are great hosts who met us on arrival and had also provided us with excellent information before we arrived. Once there they gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and Cafes. And even tried to book us in to one which was full. The back up recommendation turned out to be lovely. We ate in a couple of nights as the facilities were excellent and it was actually nice to enjoy the apartment.

Stunning apartment in the heart of Valletta.

Ruth and Nigel’s apartment is the perfect place to stay in Valletta. It is close to all of the sights, as well as local bars and restaurants. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It is ideal for a couple or family with two children. We were welcomed by Ruth and Nigel and we knew instantly that they would be the perfect hosts. They take great pride in the apartment which has been lovingly and tastefully restored by them. The walls are covered in Ruth’s inspirational works of art. We hope to return before too long in order to explore more of the lovely island of Malta.

Well worth considering

It's an idea apartment for a couple in terms of comfort and location. I liked the open and enclosed balconies. Everything was as described apart from the wooden dining chairs, which had been replaced by plastic ones. The apartment was interesting with all the artwork and books. It was a pity that I did not have the time to read some of the books.

Superb

Location, cleanliness, hospitality, facilities - all were superb. Our hosts very graciously accommodated our requests, and when we met at the apartment they shared so much information a tourist would find useful. The area around the apartment is vibrant with many, many bars and restaurants - so many within a few minutes walk that you wouldn't need to dine in the same place twice on even a month stay. Dining out for lunch and dinner daily, we were never disappointed by the quality of the food we were served, nor the service we received. Usually the food was better, and the price lower than we'd expect at home in England. We do not hesitate to recommend Ruth and Nigel as hosts, and their apartment as a wonderful place to stay in Valletta.

Nice Apartment in a Great Location

This spacious apartment in the heart of Valletta is nicely furnished and decorated, well equipped, except for the lack of a microwave, and has a very comfortable bed. Providing basic instructions on operating the appliances and the TV (which you cannot turn on and off using the remote) would have been helpful. The owners, however, were very responsive when I ran into problems.

An overly demanding guest who called at all hours for ordinary functions clear to all previous guests, such as opening the front door, switching on a TV manually, trying to start the washing machine without pressing the 'ON' button, unfamiliar with certain technologies (eg induction oven) and leaving a brand new 100-euro toaster dysfunctional for which we did not charge. A MW is not listed in our amenities and was not requested. Despite all this we were sympathetic to this guest's difficulties and instantly on call to help out. A gentle lady and interesting to talk to, however in our opinion would be more at ease to hotel stays than self-catering.

Our trip to Valletta was special and Ruth & Nigel's apartment was a big part of our great experience. The apartment is very centrally located in Valletta, and the balcony overlooks one of the most photographed stairs where diners enjoy lunch/dinner. The apartment is exactly as listed, including Ruth's creative & engaging artwork hanging on the walls. It was super comfortable to come back to after exploring each day and enjoy a happy hour drink with our homemade charcuterie board while sitting on the balcony watching the people come to take pictures. It was also cool to watch the pigeon fledglings take off on their first flight from the top of the balcony directly across from this apartment's balcony. The bed is super comfortable, and the convenience of the washing machine enabled us to keep our clothes clean and fresh throughout our stay. Ruth and Nigel were very communicative throughout the entire pre-arrival, check-in and throughout our stay. We did experience an issue with an automatic light in the closet that malfunctioned and we reached out to Ruth & Nigel for assistance who arranged for an electrician to come fix it and offered an interim solution until the electrician could fix it. We recommend staying here for those on their first trip to Valletta - the location is ideal for easy access to everything - restaurants, historical sites, shopping, central bus station, and the ferry to three cities or Gozo. A week to remember

What an amazing apartment right in the heart of Valetta. We spent a wonderful week here with a balcony overlooking Valetta's most amazing street. From the moment we arrived, Ruth and Nigel couldn't have been more attentive. Our flight was delayed but they still waited to welcome us at 1.30 am!!! The apartment itself is stunning and their attention to detail is impressive to say the least. Everything we could possibly have wanted was there and they made it very clear that if we needed anything else, or had any issues, they were only a phone call away. We certainly hope to visit Malta again soon, and when we do, we will certainly be back with Ruth and Nigel. We genuinely had a holiday that we will never forget!!

Simply amazing!

I need to echo other reviews that say Ruth and Nigel are excellent and thoughtful hosts. We had to contact them several times (usually for idiot technical questions) and they were patient, unfailingly helpful and very prompt in their replies. They provided cleaning supplies (including soap for the dishwasher and washing machine and Pantene and Dove products in the shower), some nibbles so that we could have a quick snack before going to the market, and some other basics. A very well-stocked kitchen and one of the best mattresses we’ve slept on. There also is a huge binder of brochures to help you decide what to visit. If you take time off in the heat of the day, make sure to explore Ruth’s art. There’s a great deal of thought and detail in them and they’re well worth the time. The location of this apartment is superb. Go out the door of the building, turn left, walk one flat block, and you’re at the bus stop for the 133 circulator bus that goes to ferries, museums, & the main bus terminal. Go out the door, turn right, walk one block, turn left, walk one block and you’re at Merchants Street (shops, food, great people watching) AND at the Market (lots of indoor food stalls and an escalator down to a full supermarket). If instead of turning left, you keep going, you’ll see Gio ahead of you (great coffee and pastries) AND if you turn left on Felix Street just after the Market you'll find Da Sandro's Pasta & Pizza - great food at reasonable prices. Overall, a fabulous VRBO.

Appartement central Valetta

Bel appartement dans le centre de La Valette, placé au coeur de la vie de la cité historique. Supermarché à proximité, et nombre de restaurants à deux pas. A recommander à ceux qui veulent découvrir La Valette et son histoire, mais aussi les trois cités, ainsi que Gozo par ferry rapide.

Très bel appartement, propre et confortable. Très bien situé dans La Valette, à proximité du Grand Harbour, proche des incontournables à visiter, des cafés et des restaurants. Le terminal des bus est à 10-15 minutes à pied. Très bonne communication avec Ruth et Nigel, par messagerie sans aucun soucis.Location au top ! Je recommande vivement.
