The lofted bedroom which features a king-sized bed can be reached by an elegant spiral staircase. Updates and comfortable furnishings throughout this seventh-floor loft unit make a retreat ideal for any time of year.

The spacious main level offers a kitchen, bathroom, and living area with plenty of seating for everyone and an electric fireplace. Up the spiral staircase is the loft-style bedroom with a large picture window looking out onto the lake. Â Step out onto your private balcony or patio and take in the breathtaking lake views. When the weather is nice head down to the sandy beach for a day by the lake. No matter what the weather, there is plenty to keep you entertained with an on-site indoor pool, game room, fitness center, and more!

Short stay

The check in process was smooth and simple. Upon entering the property there was a pair of underwear under one of the couch pillows and hair on the shower doors.The space was exactly as it’s depicted in the pictures . However please do better with keeping the space clean for new stays.

Ok, but a bit exaggerated.

Getting there was pretty easy. The checking was smooth. I was even allowed to check in early, which was awesome. The view from the balcony was blocked by trees, and it was covered in webs. There wasn't a clear view from the windows, because they were covered in dirt. Over all, the stay was ok, but I won't be renting that again.

Just a little getaway

The property at Will O Wisp was very accommodating. I had a spectacular view of the lake. Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning was very peaceful. The unit had all the comforts of home, and the complex had numerous amenities.

Disappointing

When we arrived in the room, the toilet seat had a smudge of something sticky on it and the tub was dingey. I asked the front desk if someone could come clean it and was told that the housekeeping staff was gone for the weekend. When I said I'd go buy supplies to clean it myself, the front desk attendant kindly supplied me with Lysol spray, Zep cleaner and rags so that I didn't have to go out of pocket. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but couldn't help noticing the discarded items from other patrons that remained on the pool deck. We later used the sauna which is covered in decades old graffiti (yes former patrons dated their "work") that was carved directly into the cedar. Upon returning to the room and using the bathroom we cleaned ourselves we found that the tub didn't drain properly. By the next morning the tub was backing up with hair when my youngest tried to shower. (Disgusting). The resort and condos sport dated interiors but the views of Deep Creek Lake are stunning. Aces restaurant, a separate business adjacent to the condos is always a good meal, good and friendly service and also has wonderful views of the Lake from any table.
