The Blackwater Sound area is home to calm water, lots of outdoor activities, and many of the Key's best restaurants and bars. Located in the exclusive gated community of Tamarind Bay Club. Sunsets are a true event every night. Assigned parking. Close to Adams Cut for quick access to John Pennekamp State Park, and offshore fishing & diving. Short boat ride to the Everglades for fishing and sightseeing. Heated pools, tennis court, pickleball courts. Boat slip is not guaranteed, but may be an option based on availability and dockmaster approval. Boat length limited to 25 feet. Truly your chance to stay in paradise. Minimum rental period is 60 days for this one of a kind property due to Owner's Association rules. The Owner's Association must also approve the renter and lease agreement prior to move-in. This requirement ensures a quiet and relaxing stay in a stable and friendly community, unlike many short term rental properties. We split our time between Colorado and Key Largo. We absolutely love the time we spend in the Keys and want to share our little piece of paradise with others when we are not there.

We searched the entire Keys for weeks looking for a property that fit our criteria. When we walked into our condo for the first time there was no question that we had found our new home. With height restrictions in the Keys, it is a rare treat to have a 4th floor corner penthouse to enjoy the incredible views. We are also a short walk to some of the best waterfront restaurants and bars in the Keys. There is always something fun to do here, from fishing offshore or in the Everglades backcountry, to scuba or snorkeling on the ship wrecks and reefs. You can also rent kayaks, catamarans, paddle boards, Wave Runners, and enjoy endless other activities - most within walking distance (or directly from the property). The Tamarind Bay Club community is an exclusive gated community that is filled with super friendly people, so you will feel right at home immediately. Being located on the bay side is highly desirable since the water remains relatively clam, even on days when it is too windy to go off shore. The bay is where all the action is for outdoor activities.

One of the most amazing aspects of this property is the two large balconies that overlook Blackwater Sound. It is very fun relaxing on the balcony with a cocktail watching all the boats coming and going, and the sunsets are absolutely epic. You can also see all sorts of fish and even manatees right from the dock. With a desk and high speed internet, it is easy to work remotely. Note: the minimum rental period is for 60 days, and renters must be approved by the Owner's Association, so this property is ideal for couples looking to escape to paradise for a longer period.
