My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this little house! It was very clean and the living spaces were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and was a nice size. Locations is great for visiting some of the springs. Only a few minutes from Alley Spring and about 40 minutes from Big Spring.

Nice home with nice outdoor area.There were 4 adults for 3 days. Not enough washcloths for daily showers. No washer/dryer onsite or we could have laundered out towels.We came in with trailers and side by sides. The driveway is in poor repair due to the roadway and water damage to the street coming into property. There is a 2 -3’ drop off on both sides of street so you can’t swing wide enough to get into place with a trailer. One trailer made it in, the second was unable. Fortunately, two very kind neighbors came to our aid and allowed us to use their properties. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Check in process was easy, and every question I had was promptly answered. It was close to all amenities but also felt like you were away from it all. Loved staying here.

Check in was good. Had a t.p. supply issue and someone brought 2 rolls to us. Thought that was odd, just 2 rolls
Also no paper towels and one hand towel in the kitchen. Could not find a dish cloth or scrubby for the kitchen until the last day. The house itself was nice, clean and comfortable and in a great location.

After getting there we had some trouble but the host was very responsive. I called and we made it the house it was so nice. The shower was amazing and the rooms a nice size. It felt like out of town but close enough to town to go to the Dairy Shake for a nice sweet treat at the end of the night. It was a great place to stay with a covered patio and it has a swing with games in the shed. It was an amazing get a way for the week. Thanks for sharing your home!!!

Quiet and relaxing.

The house was quiet and relaxing. It was decorated really nicely and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The rain showerhead felt great after a long day in the river. We loved having coffee on the swing in the mornings. Would definitely recommend!

Home away from home

Such a quant home with plenty of room to move around. Bedrooms are nice sized and the yard space has a firepit and outdoor games . It was nice not to be on Main street and feel the comfort of small town living

A piece of small town living

I can't say enough about our little getaway, it was exactly what the doctor ordered. The peace and quiet of getting away from the big city is unmatched, the stars were bright, the sound of nothing was as loud as you would like it. The property had everything we needed, the town folk were inviting and helpful, Blue Spring was a true wonder of nature and absolutely beautiful, Rocky Falls was a sight to see also, the store in town surprisingly had everything. Overall such a great stay, I recommend to all.

Clean and everything walkable!!

Eminence Missouri is a great place to get away into the forest and beautiful springs!! The house was very clean, updated and close to town. Everything worked and we were able to cook most of our meals. Would return again!!

nice central location

This was our home base for 3 day trips on the rivers in the area. The property was very clean with comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen. Owner was very responsive to questions. We would stay here again!

Sightseeing and exploring in the Jack Fork and Current River areas

This was a great little house for us to use for “home base” during the four days we were exploring the area. The house is very cute, clean and had everything we needed. We ate at the Double O Saloon two nights, that was fun and the people were really friendly! We grilled and cooked at the house the other two nights. The deck was great and if the weather was warmer we would have spent more time out there! The weather was cold so the house was nice to come back to, it warmed up quickly and was comfortable to curly up on the couch and watch TV. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and the beds were comfortable with newer mattresses-really good house! We really enjoyed this house and the little town of Eminence-it was a great trip! Thanks Jamie and Keith!

On our first visit to Eminence, Missouri, my husband and I knew we had found home! After a few more visits to Eminence we decided to purchase a home. It will be awhile before we can officially retire and spend all of our time floating down the river, so in the meanwhile we offer our home to you. We hope you enjoy the peace and relaxation that Eminence provides as much as we do!

During your stay, I like to give my guests space to relax and enjoy their vacation in private. However, if any issues arise or you have questions do not hesitate to reach out to me. My goal is to make your trip to Eminence a relaxing experience! We hope you will visit Rivertown Retreat again and again!
