Very nice place

Close the the falls but for some reason there was no internet or tv, the router may have been defective. The room was nice and a great view. It is a short 20 minute walk to the falls.

Apartment with good view and near Quebec

we enjoyed the stay. It‘s only 15 minutes drive to Quebec City. view over at Lorenz is very good. Clean big apartment with good kitchen. Everytime again. when we come in the area.

What’s not to like?

Great location with view of the river and l’île d’Orlean. Able to walk to IGA and Montmorency Falls. 15 minute drive to old town Quebec. Comfortable, quiet, and well equipped apartment and kitchen. We definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves.

Great Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay in Boischatel. The condo was clean and quiet, with a modern decor, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and shower were very good, too. The view toward the St. Lawrence was wonderful at all times of the day. We appreciated being able to walk to Montmorency Falls as well as a very good supermarket. The location enabled us to drive into Quebec City (15 minutes or so) as well as easy trips to Cap Tourmente, the National Park Jacques Cartier and Ile D'orleans. We found the museum at Chateau Richer very informative and enjoyed numerous art galleries in the area as well. We have no hesitation in recommending this condo and we look forward to enjoying it again in the very near future.

Great place...check in information/process not so much

Wonderful property overlooking river in Boischatel. About 15 minutes away from downtown Quebec City...easy access. Check in process including directions to property inadequate.If I had not looked at pictures prior to arrival probably would not have found it.. Also no check in instructions were sent. VRBO agent very helpful in contacting rental property, as voice message was in French when I called..So, awesome property but need improved check in process.

If you do not speak French, make sure you have the Google Translate app for all the signage inside. If you have to call them, there is no English option in the recorded menu, stay on the line and someone eventually answers. It looked Chic and the price was right, but the lack of communication and random issues made the stay stressful. Firstly, we never received the check in email with the codes to get into the building and our room #. We had to call. It was only by accident that we found out that someone picks up eventually after the recorded menu finishes. The water to the toilet was shut off. Thankfully my husband knew where the shutoff valve was and turned it back on. Also, the baseboards in the bathroom were very dirty so I cleaned them quickly with a Lysol wipe. The wifi password did not work. At first, the TV worked and we were able to use Netflix but when I went to try and see the password on the TV, it lost connection. We looked around and found the router. It wasn't even plugged in. No idea how the TV worked. The router had a screen and we were able to scroll and find the correct password. We got the TV back on the wifi and were able to use our phones. I had messaged the property through the app about the internet issue and sent an email but did not get a response. The checkout instructions were unclear and we had to call again. All you have to do is leave by 11am. You don't need to inform anyone or punch a special code into the door. Just leave.
