Lakein' It Easy With Private Dock

Relax with the whole family at this lakefront cabin on Norris Lake that features a private dock with a ladder for easy water access, three bedrooms (King, Queen and bunks), a futon, two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, dining and gathering areas, three large covered decks, Weber and Blackstone grill, a fire pit, canoe and paddleboat, and a pull-through driveway for your vehicles or trailer. Come float in the cove with very little boat traffic, perfect for families. Home sleeps 6-8 people.

Blue Springs Marina is right down the road less than 1 mile for easy access to launch your boat or rent a pontoon, less than 1 mile. Flat Hallow Marina is about a 15-minute boat ride away and features a restaurant.

Both gathering areas have TVs that have Roku’s for utilizing your streaming services and DVD players (DVDs not provided).

Free Wi-Fi

10 minutes to Tackett Creek ATV trails.
Cumberland Gap National Park is a 30-minute drive.

We had a great stay at Lakein’ It Easy with our 5 kids. Was very clean with plenty of space to spread out, own sleeping spaces, and able to eat as a family. Felt safe with the gate between cabin and dock and the kids loved fishing off the dock, and had a blast in the paddle boat!

Peaceful Getaway on the Lake!

Wonderful, peaceful getaway on the lake with the family! Beautiful view from the back decks. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Check in was super easy and the house was spotless! Lots of space to spread out and loved the convenience of the front door key pad. Coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc was supplied which was very nice.

Our girls birthday trip to the lake was great. 8 women sharing a house and we had just enough space. The hill down to the dock is STEEP but so worth the clear water. We brough our own camp chairs and floats down to the dock and just had the best time.

Great week on lake

This place is just as advertised. The pics are spot on. Communication with host is above and beyond what is needed. I was concerned about slope after reading reviews but it isn’t bad at all. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Norris. Only one negative, the road coming in and boat launch is kind of tight. So if you have a huge boat, I hope you are a good driver. I have cruiser and it wasn’t bad at all.

Back yard

Although we knew it was on a hill to the lake it is a very very sharp decent. While I understand winter pool our dock was completely out of the water. Luckily no one was staying next door and we could use theirs. Pictures of back yard are very deceiving

Weekend getaway

We had a great time. The cabin is exactly how it is listed online. Beautiful space outside with plenty of room for kids to run around. We really appreciated the fence that keeps kids from running down to the water. We would definitely stay here again

Our first Norris lake experience! Did not disappoint

Our stay at lakein’ it easy was one to remember! Great location with blue springs marina very close which made it easy to bring our pontoon boat to our dock and stock up for the day. The house was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very quick to respond with questions we had. Will definitely be back to this property!

Great spot for easy lake access!

We had a great time at Lakein’ it Easy! Plenty of seating and space outdoors to enjoy the views and great access to swim and dock your own boat. Pictures are very representative of the house and backyard and the owners were very communicative.

Lake Trip

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent most of our days on the lake (rented a pontoon boat at blue springs marina). This part of the lake had a lot of logs (I’m not sure if this is usual or not) which made navigating the boat a little difficult but this improved once we got further out into the lake. We enjoyed cooking our meals at home (make sure to stop at the grocery store in advance as shops are 20-30 min away which is standard for any rental on Norris Lake). The beds were comfortable and the host provided enough towels/cleaning supplies/laundry detergent which was very appreciated! We would stay again!

Nice Lake cabin

This was a nice cabin. A bit big for our family of three but we were looking last minute and wanted to be on the lake. The paddleboat was fun and property has a nice fire pit. Bring fire starters. Will help start the fire pit. Has a propane grill which was convenient. The drive from the main road is very wavy. But our plan was to stay at cabin and enjoy lake entire time so it didnt bother us. We did our grocery shopping ahead of time as the nearest decent grocery store is a 30 min drive. The hosts were great and responded quickly with any questions we had. Overall a nice cabin on the lake.

Beautiful lake and secluded perfect for a peaceful stay. The owners give you a detailed book of places in the area. Only advice that I can give is to get groceries before hand. Loved our visit and will visit again

Grandkids/Getaway

Secluded, quiet, and peaceful. I was initially discouraged when the cleaning person was there upon check-in and remained around an hour. The amenities are first rate. From the outdoor dining , ample deck space,fire pit, dock and boats. To the fabulous Blackstone grill ( which we are soon to purchase). I’m certain we prepared every meal using this magnificent grill. Okay, maybe not soup! It was a wonderful experience.

Sweet Retreat

Need a relaxing get away? This is the place. Spent the week with my two adult children and it was so relaxing. The location is a little out there but well worth the trip. It was so nice not to have the hustle and bustle of the city. We took our boat and tied it off at the dock. The marina is very close and convenient. You wouldn't know it was there it's so quiet. We went out everyday to fish and enjoy the water. Swam from the dock. Clearest water I've ever seen. The internet worked perfect for us (although we only used it to stream TV). The owners were very responsive and kind. The cabin is just lovely. Perfect for a mental reset.

Great quiet getaway

The house was stocked with everything we needed for a great lake trip! Dock worked out awesome as we were able to secure some rentals for our time there and provided a great place to “play” in the lake. Would recommend without hesitation. Very quiet and off the beaten path with beautiful view and accommodations. Look forward to returning again.

Lovely Retreat

Such a quaint cabin on a beautiful, quiet area. We were able to enjoy the water everyday with little to no noise or boat traffic. So peaceful. The paddle boat was such a fun addition. The fire pit was awesome as well. The inside was amazing. Jason and Michelle have everything you could need for your stay and the cabin was clean and well maintained. We had an amazing, relaxing time. The communication with the host was phenomenal! I had a couple questions and they got back to me immediately. I highly recommend.

Great lake house for the family.

Had a great stay with me, the wife and our 6 kids. House was in a great location. Had everything we needed to make a big breakfast and head out on the lake for the day. We brought our boat and used the dock to tie up in the evenings and overnight. Kids loved the paddle boat to ride around while fishing. Overall this was a very relaxing stay.

Nice lake home

We really enjoyed our stay at Jason and Michelle’s home on Norris Lake. They were extremely responsive before and during our stay and provided lots of recommendations. Their home is in a remote location with lake access, private dock and is very quiet and peaceful. They had a paddle boat and canoe at the house for us to use. We had plenty of room for the four of us with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an upstairs and downstairs living space which was great for our teenage boys. The fire pit area was awesome, unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so we were only able to use it one night. The kitchen was well equipped which was very helpful as we cooked most meals at the house since the closest restaurant is about 30 minutes away. We rented a pontoon boat from Blue Springs marina located less than a mile from the house which was really convenient. Apparently the marina is under new ownership so they were a bit unorganized (forgot to include an anchor on the boat and didn’t have a tube for tubing). We ended up stopping by the Flat Hollow marina on the boat to rent a tube and they were a much bigger marina with more to offer. The lake is huge and the water was great for swimming, boating and definitely jet skiing. Chapman’s winery is really cute and family friendly. Overall, their home is a great place to relax and spend quality time with family or friends.

Somewhat Misleading

Nice cabin, nice pull through driveway. We had 2 adults that were counting on the internet to complete some work and the internet is unreliable, spotty at best. Two nice TVs but can’t get any stations and this home provided absolutely no DVDs. So unless you’re into playing games in the evenings, you better have a good book (or bring your own DVDs).
