Relax with family and friends at Birch Point Condo & Resort in Hayward. We are located right on Nelson Lake with a shared dock ready for your boat. The shared dock is just steps away, perfect for a day out on the lake or swimming on the beach.

Our rooms have two beds, private bathroom, adjoining rooms, and air conditioning.

Noon check out time can be requested for non-peak season reservations.

All in all room was just fine for the night, pillow shams had not been washed and you could see drool on them. Would have been nice if the heat would have been turned up higher than 40 and if someone would have shoveld .

Overall, a pleasant experience. Having the deck swept and cobwebs cleared would've been helpful. A hair dryer would've also been a nice touch. We will definitely return.

It was Small and perfect!

The checking in and out was so easy. It’s set up just like a hotel room and so much cheaper. It was in a very nice place and right by the water was perfect. In walking distance from the bar and from where some other family was staying. For sure would like to come back again but for longer.

Family vacation

We had 4 families that booked four rooms in a row. It was perfect as each room has connecting door inside if you wanted to be able to enter the other rooms from inside. The kids fished and adults relaxed on the beach. Perfect, peaceful location

Overall great place

The lake is beautiful. The bar and grill next door had a limited menu but awesome views of the sunset and live music! We did have a small glitch at check in, not being able to get into our room. The person on-call said she would be there in 45 minutes and then gave up the room next door. Again, nice place. Clean room. Cute decor. Would consider visiting again.

Looked like “some construction “ to room may have been going on before our arrival
.floors were filthy with nails, insulation and dirt. Screw nails also found outside of room door and parking lot. Otherwise, great WI atmosphere! We will be there again this summer, hoping for cleaner areas. Blow dryers are not available as well.

Getaway weekend

We encountered several serious issues during our stay. Some of the units had unsanitary conditions upon arrival, including soiled toilets and, in one case, a used pair of underwear left behind. Additionally, one of the refrigerators was not working.Most concerning, all units were without running water for more than half of our stay. This meant no water for handwashing, showers, or flushing toilets. When we contacted management, we were told that water service would be restored — though limited — by Saturday. A case of bottled water was left outside each unit as a temporary solution.However, when we returned, there was still no running water. Upon following up, management denied saying water would be restored and mentioned they would look into offering a credit. Despite multiple members of our group reaching out, we have yet to receive any follow-up or resolution.This experience was disappointing and poorly managed, and we hope future guests are provided with better communication and service

Clean, modern, great snowmobile access. Parking lot would be tight if more than two trailers were there. Path to door not shoveled, youtube tv not on tv, dirty under beds, sink sucked, Kleenex were empty.
