Escape & relax in the contemporary casual style of Casa Crabapple! The perfect place for a group getaway! Enjoy a girl’s weekend, family get-together, or spend time away with friends! You’ll enjoy the fabulous outdoor spaces: soak in the hot tub, kick back at the outdoor bar and enjoy a drink, share a meal on the patio, spend a beautiful evening around the fire pit, and watch the deer and turkeys! Managed by Heavenly Hosts



The Space:

Beautiful compound in the skirts of Fredericksburg, outdoor bar and hot tub.



Note: The driveway has been resurfaced, a new walkway from the parking area to the gate was installed.



The main house sleeps 8 and has:

- Master bedroom: 1 king bed & a sofa bed with an ensuite master bathroom

- Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed

- Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds

- Full bathroom located in the hall



Guesthouse sleeps 5 and has:

- Bedroom: 1 king bed and 1 full bathroom

- Living room: 1 twin sleeper sofa and 1 full sleeper sofa



Outdoor space:

- Outdoor bar area

- Private hot tub!

- Wood-burning Fire pit (BYO firewood)

- Charcoal BBQ Grill (BYO Charcoal)

- Large backyard!



BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, Effective Monday, February 2, 2026: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.

As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please allow all hot coals to cool completely inside the grill before disposing of them. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding!

Guest have full access to the main house, guesthouse, outdoor bar and hot tub.

Located just outside of Fredericksburg, you are a short drive to Main Street and we do offer Luxury Private Transportation Services, please reach out to us directly for details and scheduling!



Other Things to Note:

- This property is pet-friendly. There is a pet fee of $45 per pet/per night + taxes/airbnb fees, and up to 2 pets max and 35 lbs max. Pets are not allowed on furniture/beds. Please pick up after your pet(s). Pets must be kenneled if ever unattended. Yard is not fully fenced.



- This property is suitable for children/infants.



- Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in the hill country, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments.

TX Hill Country Gem

Met up with family here for the 4th of July, simply wonderful stay! Plenty of room for all ages, beautiful outdoor views & great porch entertainment. Short drive to town for shopping, town parade & much more! Hope to visit again soon!

Excellent Experience! Would book again!

We had a lovely experience while staying in Fredericksburg for dance competition. The house was perfectly laid out for our needs and the expectations were clear and precise. Even though we were in close proximity to stores and shops, we were still surrounded by peace, quiet, and scenes of serenity. The location was incredibly safe, and I felt comfortable staying there with my team. I would definitely book again for the same event or for my own family.

Our extended family stayed there for two nights and the house is excellent and very private and a short drive to Main street. Has everything you need and was very clean. Its beautiful there both inside and outside and was perfect for our family. The guest house was a added bonus. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful House

This property was great. From the beautiful house to the sprawling land. The kids were able to enjoy the outdoors. It was close to downtown but just far enough that it was quite and relaxing. Will definitely be staying here again.

Golden Girls Weekend

The four of us ‘Golden’ girls had an amazingly wonderful time during our stay. Even though it is a huge house/property, we utilized just about every inch of this awesome place; the bedrooms (as well as entire home) were clean and comfy, the kitchen table became our ‘knitting circle’ where we reminisced about the past 65+ years of friendship, we sat outside in the evenings (no biting pests yay!), a couple of us walked the beautiful property every morning (to get our daily exercise) and the hot tub was a total hit!! Close proximity to town (and the local HEB) was ‘the cherry on top’ to our beautiful time together. Will definitely return!!

Peaceful Getaway

My family and I were attending a wedding at the lodge and wanted a home big enough to accommodate our family and close to the venue. We loved this home at first site. My 15 year old son and 10 year old daughter were a big fan of this home and the outdoors and spent a lot of time outside playing together. Our family enjoyed the outdoor table and playing games that my daughter found in living room. It was also really nice to see them play games with their great grandmother outside eating snacks. We loved this house so much we didn’t even want to leave to the wedding. Also all the beds were very comfortable. There is lots of privacy and it’s very peaceful watching the deer and birds outside.

Nice place to stay.

The home itself was nice, loved the quiet and peacefulness. we checked in without a problem. It’s up to date and modern. When we arrived there was an issue with the back door knob was broken but she was able to send someone right away and it was fixed that same night. But the home was not up to a cleanliness standard. One of the rooms the pillow had makeup stain. The towels were not clean. The home was decent but I didn’t feel comfortable in some aspects of it. There is plenty of outdoor steps. I did love the deers you can see in the early evening and early mornings.

Good Stay could have been better

The house was spacious enough to accommodate 7 people and have privacy. The hot tub was hit and so was the outdoor seating and backyard space. The guest house had not been cleaned because there was dog hair all over the bed and the floor. It was quite disgusting so we washed all the sheets ourselves as we could not find spare sheets and bedding. We were missing spare blankets too which we had to wait for until next afternoon. The property manager did send housekeeping at night but this derailed us a bit from our morning hike plans. The communication could have been better. There wasn’t much of an apology from the management. We would probably find a different place to stay next time.

Great vacation spot

The house looked even better in person than the photos online. Everything was very clean, the couch was super comfy and easily fit 3 adults and a 10 and 12 year old. Unfortunately the shower was not working in the master bath which was a let down, but not a big deal since the other shower down the hall was very nice as well. We did experience a power outage following a storm and the property managers sent someone out to us to make sure that it wasn’t a problem with the main breaker for the house, it wasn’t, and the county got the power back on within a few hours. We frequently saw deer roaming the property as well as many species of birds, the fountain in the front was great. The hot tub was also nice and the guest house was perfect for giving my brother and his wife their own separate space during our stay. The beds were all very comfortable and the pillows were good quality as well. Overall, my family and I were very happy that we rented this house and I would absolutely recommend this VRBO to anyone needing a place to stay in Hill Country!

Nice place to stay

Your home is very nice; loved the quiet and peacefulness of the property. And, I'm so jealous of the landscaping. But, we were a bit disappointed because of the A/C issues we encountered. Thank you for sending someone out to the house quickly because it was unbearable. We were still disappointed because when the A/C issue was resolved we realized that we were not able to lower the thermostat lower than 73 degrees. Now, I totally understand you not wanting guests taking advantage of it but in this brutal heat and when it feels like 110+ degrees outside 73 was not cool enough. So, for the days we were there we huddled in the guest room the entire time and therefore we were hardly in the main house. We all huddled in the guest house for everything so we didn't get to take advantage of the entire house and we left not happy about that. Also, not sure if you are aware but there is an ant issue in the guest house...we left our snacks out the first night near the sink in the guest house and woke up to ants all over our food; and there were ants in the guest house bed. Just a couple of other things...there was a hair in the coffee so we did not have any coffee and the towels didn't seem clean. They smelled rancid. Again, a very nice property but was a disappointing stay.

Great place for a cousins' reunion

We absolutely loved this place. Very clean and plenty of indoor and a great outdoor living space for a large group to spend time together. It was the perfect property to spend quiet time together while being close to a town that accommodates and provides many activities for tourists.
