Wow! What a gem so close to Oklahoma City. Luxury accommodations, peaceful outdoor activities and such a responsive host. Would be perfect for family reunions. The houses have everything you need to cook, grill and just relax. And the fur babies also felt so welcomed. My family is already talking about coming back. Thanks Carol you have thought of everything needed!

Short Getaway

We stayed two nights and this place was perfect for us. Had the weather been warmer we would have taken advantage of the kayaks. We enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the private back porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Weekend Escape

Needed a last minute getaway for the family. Luckily this place lined up perfectly. Mallard house was the right choice for a family of 4. Kitchen has all the tools to make a sandwhich or a 4 course meal. Unfortunately it was too cold to the host of outside activities offered.

Weekday get away

I was very impressed with the complete stay. Ms.Carol was an amazing host. If you have questions, she answered them immediately. This was truly relaxing. Excellent Accomodations

My daughter and grandkids met me there to attend a family celebration. it was only for one night but we regretted not staying longer. It was a fabulous property- very peaceful and a great place for the kids to run around after a long drive. The lake was lovely and the swings were so much fun! The house was beautiful, comfortable and very well kept. We began planning our next trip. We will be back when we visit family in the area. Thank you!!!

Rural paradise

The home was better than imagined and was set on a beautiful piece of property with a large pond. There were 3 houses side by side by spaciously placed apart and I never knew or heard anyone else. GREAT little store for getting essentials, like a popsicle at 10PM and a new cap for the morning. I plan to return and rent all three homes for the entire family! Carol was a gracious host--enjoyed the serene atmosphere!

The property was a quiet get away. The house was beautiful. Very spacious. So many amenities in the house. Dishes, soaps, condiments, grilling items, throw blankets, bathroom items and so much more. Owner came out and introduced herself and made us feel right at home. And kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles and a hot tub. I will be back again.

Sweet Peaceful Gem

host Carol is amazing! So friendly, helpful, and understands superb customer satisfaction! This place is the most peaceful place in nature and well maintained! The cabin, Mallard House was stocked with everything. Just bring your personal belongings and food and you are set. Most comfortable bed ever! Decor was well thought out and absolutely beautiful carved wood. The only sad part was leaving. Would recommend this getaway...worth every penny.

Amazing unique property

This property is worth visiting. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the house has everything that you might need. This house is cozy and spacious. The setting is relaxing-you can't beat watching the sunset or sitting out on the patio overlooking the pond. Carol is an amazing host, she provided all necessary information in a timely manner, answered all questions and was quickly available for anything we needed. The most amazing part was the quaint boutique/snack room and the separate game room. The boutique/snack room contained freezers full of delicious cookies, cinnamon rolls, breads, drinks and frozen meat (for the grill). Loved the honor system jar, made us feel like the 'good ol days'. The game room provided everything from puzzles, books, games and outdoor activities that are available for your use. Loved this property and will look to return.

Return to Garvin County

When our host stated on the property description that all you need is your food and yourself she was not joking! Our host made my family feel right at home just a dear friend or neighbor would. It is a wonderful place to relax, spend time with family, and really recharge from the day to day dealings of everyday life. Interior open floor plan is excellent for family gatherings and the home was very clean. I was very impressed at the level of detail and attention to cleanliness that was present inside the property and of the exterior ground. Plenty of activities to do around the property and things to do within a short drive as well. We enjoyed the view of the lake, sitting in the shade of the grove trees and the rest of the scenic beauty of the place so much we only turned our television on ONCE during our 3 day stay. We are grateful to our host for providing a wonderful place to stay and being a wonderful host. We would absolutely stay again and recommend this property to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The seclusion of this property made it a peaceful place to relax & explore. It was a short drive to downtown Stratford & other bigger cities. We tend to overpack for trips but this house was stocked with everything we needed. It was also very clean & spacious. Carol, the property host, was welcoming & easy to communicate with.
