Private, one-bedroom apartment with gorgeous views of the Green Mtns, lush fields and clay plain forests. Native plants and trees attract birds and pollinators. There are roads and walking fields to explore right from the apartment as well as access to safe biking routes. Garage parking in snowy weather and EV charging when requested. Numerous nearby attractions (Sunrise Orchards, Snake Mountain, historic Crown Point, Lake Champlain). We are just a 10 minute drive to Middlebury College (with free access to sporting events) and town full of unique shops, restaurants and galleries. We're happy to host and make your stay a happy one!

Wonderful Stay – Feels Like Home!This place truly feels like HOME! The owners live on-site and are incredibly kind and helpful—they genuinely want to make sure you have everything you need.The house is well-stocked and thoughtfully put together. I loved that it had nice dishes instead of dollar-store basics, and the overall setup was clean and comfortable. The only things I personally would add are oven mitts and maybe a Keurig, but I knew ahead of time that it was a regular coffee pot, so I brought my own.The location is quiet, pet friendly, and the morning views are absolutely top-notch. We didn’t spend a ton of time on property this trip, but I definitely plan to return—hopefully we earn a 5-star rating as great guests, too!Highly recommend this stay!

Janie was a gracious host and had everything prepped for us when we arrived. The location is just a few minutes outside of Middlebury and has great access to attractions in the Champlain Valley. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding property is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful apartment in the country near Middlebury. It is very quiet and the rooms are spacious and modern in style. There is a full kitchen and washer & dryer which was great. The view from the living room window was wonderful. I stayed there for vacation and went hiking & swimming nearby. Also Morgan Horse Farm is 10 minutes away.

Great place to stay near Middlebury, Vt

It was a quick stay, but we would return in a heartbeat. The property was in an exquisitely beautiful and quiet location. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with all the needed amenities. Our host was a wonderful communicator and helped to make our visit extremely pleasant.

Quiet and Clean

The stay was ok but they need a new couch. You can't call that another bed when it doesn't open into a bed and the seat area is so worn the bars hit your ribs all night. Also, they need blinds on the front living area windows. You can't sleep past 5am when the sun comes up. Lastly, they need a better trash system.

Everything was spectacular. It is a place where you can write a book. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. Down to the sweet nectarines left in frig with true half and half Fresh and good ole VT maple syrup. Honestly, just incredible.

Winter retreat

A wonderful location with a spectacular view of Vermont’s winter landscape. Quiet yet graced with vivid birdlife. Just minutes from Middlebury and close to Nordic and Alpine Skiing. This modern apartment has all the amenities to make your stay warm and memorable.

Beautiful place

The apartment was clean, charming, had lovely views, and was very convenient to the town of Middlebury. Our hosts were wonderful. We had an issue with our vehicle and they graciously helped us deal with it. If you're visiting the Champaign Valley I heighly recommend this place.

Apart from its beauty and comfort, our home and apartment represent the future in home construction and landscaping-- high efficiency, healthy, and sustainable. Our architect and builders employed the most sophisticated, contemporary materials to maximize efficiency and light. Our home and apartment are powered by heat pumps and the sun. Huge windows bring the outside in. Most importantly, you'll love it!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Location: Beautiful, peaceful, rural location but close to Middlebury College and town (10 minute drive), Vergennes, Bristol, Brandon, Bridport, etc. and only 45 minutes to Burlington, including its international airport. We are also located near Lake Champlain, the 5th largest lake in the U.S. and ferries to New York and the Adirondack National Forest. Also ... you'll be close to many hiking trails, great cycling routes, mountains to climb, swimming in lakes and rivers, farmers markets, restaurants, music festivals, holiday entertainment, etc.

Comfort: Superbly comfortable mattress on the Queen bed in the bedroom and a custom kit containing a foam mattress, fitted sheet, pillow, etc. turn the couch into a 3rd sleeping area (kit has rave reviews).

Fully appointed : Oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, large closets, storage areas, mudroom in entryway with bench, full length mirror in bathroom, plus close up mirror for shaving, quality soaps and shampoo, luxury towels, leather couch, table for 4, artwork ... apt is neither cluttered nor stark!

High-speed Internet: We have fiber optic which makes our place easy to work from remotely. The common area is equipped with a desk for working.

Parking: Right next to doorway when not snowing; in garage if snow is predicted so early morning plow can clear driveway.

Streaming TV: Enjoy Sling, Apple TV, and Roku for streaming.
