We just wrapped up an incredible stay at this home, and I honestly cannot say enough good things. We traveled with 13 people, including six kids, and the house was beyond prepared for a group our size. Every closet was thoughtfully stocked, every bathroom had plenty of towels, and it truly felt like the hosts had thought of everything.The checkout process was easy and stress free, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. This was the perfect place to celebrate our dad’s 70th birthday, and we made so many special memories together that we will cherish for years.The location could not have been better. It was a short, easy walk to the beach, and we loved being able to see the ocean from the balcony. I travel often and stay in a lot of rental homes, and this one will always stand out as my favorite.Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay.

Beautiful Home!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood. The beach is a short walk away. This is a non-driving section of the beach so it is quieter and less crowded than some other areas. The house is modern, tastefully decorated and very neat, organized and clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and joyful get away. We would absolutely stay here again!

This amazing house was perfect for our family get away! Home Sweet Pineapple is beautiful, super clean and spacious, and the most well-equipped house I've ever stayed in. Kitchen had everything you could ask for, and then some. We loved the long table for family meals and game nights. It's a short walk to the beach in a lovely (and quiet) neighborhood. Tim and Anna, and their property manager Travis, were super quick to respond to a couple minor issues we encountered. It was very obvious they take extraordinary care of their guests. I look forward to coming back to this beautiful house again! Our family loved our stay!

A Week of Rest

Our family had a reservation made a year in advance at a place down the coast from Galveston. Unfortunately, Hurricane Beryl damaged the house a week before our scheduled trip making the house unavailable. We found Home Sweet Pineapple at the last minute, and it was such a wonderful blessing for our family. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully inviting. It was perfect for all of us who needed some extended family time and much needed rest. The attention to the smallest detail was amazing! We especially enjoyed the table that we could all gather around to share meals and play games. We are so grateful that this property was available.

Great for families!

We recently stayed at this fantastic beach house with our family, along with two other families, all with young children, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spacious, clean, and exceptionally well-stocked, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The layout was perfect for families, with plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the thoughtful touches, like baby equipment and toys, were a huge plus. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, which was beautiful and not crowded. We enjoyed spending our days playing in the sand and surf, and the evenings were perfect for family dinners. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for everything we needed to know. It was clear they put a lot of effort into making this a welcoming and well-appointed home. When can we come back??? An absolute dream!

Y'all....I've stayed in quite a few VRBOs. Once we had kids we decided VRBOs fit our style more than hotels with young kids. I can honestly say this is the best home I've ever stayed in hands down. We had a large group, 14 of us. Not once did we feel on top of each other or cramped. The home is beautiful. The attention to detail. The organization absolutely warmed my tiny type A accountant heart. The thoughtfulness. The furniture/design. We had ages ranging from 3 years old to 17 year olds to 60 year olds and everywhere in between. Everyone had a lovely time. The pantry has all kinds of ingredients you might need; they operate on an honor system (use some stuff/leave some stuff). They had roll away beds, pack n' plays, high chair, baby gate, extra sheets/pillows/blankets, beach toys, jogging stroller, wagon, games, life jackets, boogie boards...I'm telling you...this house checked all the boxes and then some. We had a question or two during our trip and the hosts were quick to respond and a joy to work with. Incredibly accommodating. My kids were begging to stay one or two more nights. None of us wanted to head back to reality. It was such a beautiful time and the beach in April is so low key and relaxing. Seriously can't recommend this home enough. That's what it felt like; the hosts opened their home to us. Not a house, a true home. Can't wait to get back. Don't think twice; book it! Thank you Home Sweet Pineapple!

Just read all the other reviews and do yourself a favor and book this house. You get what you pay for. The decor is high end and the house is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. The beach walkover is on the same row about 50 yards to the sand. We would book this house over and over!

Pineapple paradise

Spent a short weekend in this wonderful home, and everyone was sad to leave. Ages of our group ranged from 7-79, and all loved how comfortable we felt. We have stayed in several homes in Beachside and Galveston before, and this house is by far the most well stocked. From the awesome kitchen to the towels and the beach equipment, the hosts have thought of everything and skimped on nothing. We will definitely plan to return. Book it, you will not be disappointed.

Family Vacation

This property, owners and property manager were all amazing and exceeded all of our expectations!! The pictures don’t do it justice! Our family of 12 spent a week here during the heat wave. We like to cook and eat in and the kitchen had everything we needed, even an instant read thermometer. Plus everything you might need for the beach. We left some crab nets for the next guests as our grandkids loved crabbing. So clean and tidy. Responsive to our questions. Would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home!!

Terrible weather but stay was perfect

Amazing Vacation Home

We have booked many homes through VRBO, and this is one of the most beautiful and well-equipped homes in which we have stayed. It is spacious, very clean, and expertly decorated. We like to cook most of our meals and the kitchen is fabulous! It had everything we needed and more. Tim and Anna were extraordinarily gracious and were on top of all communication. The location is so close to the beach. We stayed here during Christmas weekend and enjoyed walking on the beach even though it was cold. Staying here during warm weather would be even more amazing. I highly recommend this house!

The Best

We were traveling with a group of 7 adults and 2 teens. Although the house was more expensive than others in the area, it was worth every penny. The bedrooms were fantastic. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and bath products. The kitchen was amazing. It had just about every item we needed for our cooking. The Christmas decorations were an added bonus. Most important, the house was well maintained and very clean. The host was incredibly responsive as was the property manager. I would definitely return and would recommend it to others. 5+ stars!

Beach Side Village is a great neighborhood because of the family friendly environment and its safety. BSV visitors have the ability to walk to the beach without worrying about the traffic or unsafe aspects of walking across a busy road. The sand is graded daily in the summer and the beach does not allow cars to drive. All of this creates close to a private beach and allows plenty of room for families and friends to relax.

We buy new beach toys and chairs every year before the summer. Home Sweet Pineapple isn't a short term rental. It is our home that we share with others. We cut no expense to furnish the house in a way that we hope makes guests feel valued.
