Now with Starlink internet! Hawksbill Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath authentic log cabin nestled in the Pisgah National Forest at approx. 3800ft elevation. Plan your perfect mountain getaway to hike scenic trails in the Linville Gorge, explore nearby Linville Falls & Caverns, take a short drive to gourmet restaurants and shopping in Banner Elk & Boone, hit the slopes at Beech or Sugar Mountain, or family friendly attractions like Gem Mining & the Mountain Coaster. This is a PUP FRIENDLY cabin!

Hawskbill Cabin’s name was inspired by our families favorite hiking trail in the gorge. This unique cabin features an authentic wood interior made completely of knotty pine. We have added some modern Scandinavian inspired décor, vintage 60’s HEAD skis, and reclaimed pallet art from a local NC artist in the bedrooms.

This cozy cabin is 575 sq ft, sleeps 4 comfortably and has a maximum occupancy of 5. It is perfect for couples or small families. The cabin has two private queen bedrooms and a twin sleeper sofa offering extra space for groups of 5.

CABIN FEATURES: Full size washer & dryer. Stainless-steel appliances. Outdoor firepit, grill, picnic table. Covered porch & back deck. Two private bedrooms, one full bathroom. Brand new water filtration system.

QUEEN BEDROOM 1: Queen bed, ROKU Smart TV, beautiful mountain views from the window, closet for your belongings, and split heater for your personal comfort.

FULL KITCHEN: stainless-steel appliances, full size freezer and refrigerator, cabinets stocked with pots, pans, wine glasses, and kitchen utensil basics. Keurig coffee maker provided for guests to enjoy a hot cup in the morning on the back porch. A dish drainer is also provided - there is no automatic dish washer.

DINING AREA: Table and seating for four. Pull up a stool for seating for 5.

LIVING AREA: SINGLE SLEEPER SOFA & COZY ELECTRIC FIREPLACE. Throw blankets, pillows, leather stools, comfortable rugs.

BATHROOM: Stand up shower, hair dryer, basic toiletries, and fresh towels.

FIRE PIT, GRILL & PICNIC TABLE: Enjoy the outdoors with a fire pit, attached grill, and picnic table! Wood can be purchased at local grocery stores or roadside markets.

COVERED PORCH: Rocking chairs provided for you to enjoy the mountain breeze in any weather. A small table for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea on the porch.

Guests have access to the entire cabin. The cabin is on an 0.9 acre private wooded lot.

The trail head near the neighborhood gives you access to popular trails such as Sitting Bear, Hawksbill, Wisemans Overlook, and Table Rock trail.
