Excellent location townhome in Germantown, MD

This rental is clean, spacious and very well-located. It is near the major highway, but in a quiet neighborhood near good shopping.

Clean unit, easy access, good communication with host

We were there mainly just to sleep as we were at a very busy horse show weekend. Kitchen was a bit sparsely stocked but we weren’t cooking so it wasn’t an issue. We did make eggs one morning and had not thought to bring our own salt and there was none in the unit. so picked up a few packets and left for future guests. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

The house was very spacious with a lot of room for my family.

We enjoyed our stay it was very spacious. Check in was fast & easy Kingsley provided a code for the door. We had an issue where we got locked out and we contacted the owner they responded quickly and we were able to get back in. The basement did have a stale smell initially but maybe no one has been down there in a while. We let some fresh air in and it was ok. Some areas could use some touch up paint and cosmetic fixing but nothing major. The steps are steep and short and all the rooms are either up stairs or in the basement so be mindful of that. Walls seemed very thin you can hear anyone walking around and water running through the water system but nothing that can’t be ignored. I have another family member who lives in the area so I plan to stay here again.

Property was as advertised. The place was clean and comfortable. Like every other townhouse of that genre there are a lot of stairs. The stairs need some attention. Aside from that we all had a good time.

Good stay

Property was clean, in a great neighborhood and host was very helpful (even mailed us our forgotten belongings). Unfortunately it was not a perfect fit for us. Although the pictures show the furnishings, the common area only accommodates 4. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths I was expecting more seating and kitchen utensils. The back deck had a great view but there were no chairs. Beds were comfortable and linens were nice and host left us some snacks and drinks. Very appreciative. We were gathering for a family funeral and planned on more visiting in the unit but the furnishings made it awkward. It wouldn’t take much to increase the common area to match the bedrooms. We were an older group 65-75 and had some difficulty with the stairs. Their is a lip on the front edge that is easy to trip on. Hope others and host find this helpful to know. The area was great. Shopping is close and felt safe in the well kept residential neighborhood. Didn’t get to see the pool. Thank you again for sending us our forgotten items. Service above and beyond by the host!!
