Tennis, racquet ball and basketball courts nearby; 3 parks within walking distance. Easy day excursions to Disneyland/California Adventures, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, and more! World class shopping at Lido Marina Village, Fashion Island, and South Coast Plaza only 10-15 minutes away! NOTE: This home is conveniently located along the peninsula's main boulevard. As a result, ambient traffic noise may be heard.

8 days total in January 2026. Host was proactive in communicating details about the property via SMS messaging, and responsive to questions. The king bed was terrific in the bedroom, but I found the hideaway sofa bed inadequate (no surprise, it's a hideaway). There is no view of the water except incidentally from the balcony, but it's two short blocks from the beach, and well within walking distance of a fine grocery, Pavilions. Well provisioned kitchen and propane grill, spacious bathroom, streaming Roku TV - all very comfortable, clean, easy to use. The garage parking in the back was very helpful, but super small. The 2025 VW Tiguan barely fit. I will stay again if there's a need.

The view is decent. The garage and parking situation is ridiculous. Trashcans line both sides right at the garage. We constantly had to move 3 to 6 of them to be able to back out or get into the garage. It is so small we had to unload the car before pulling into the garage as you can barely open the car doors to get out. Once inside the property is fine. The property management company was excellent. They responded to requests quickly and addressed any issues promptly.

Nice Place to Stay

The apartment is very nicely located. Excellent location! Unfortunately, there were ants in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Besides, there was only one chair on the balcony. A chair and a table were missing so we could have sat outside.

The apartment was as advertised. Host was responsive and had all the necessities upon check in. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for

I have stayed at more VRBO's than I can count, and this one was just ok. I think the pictures make it look nicer and bigger than it actually is. I would describe this unit as very basic. If you expect to actually cook, I'd think again as there are limited cooking supplies. The towels, including beach towels are very small, the size I'd buy for a small child. They had one bottle of soap only, in the shower and the label just said "shampoo/body wash/hand soap. It indeed felt like I was using hand soap on my hair.... Also many of the drinking glasses I went to use were absolutely filthy and had lip and finger prints on them. Just didn't have any of the nice touches I've experienced when renting from true owners before. The main screen in the living room is see through, so don't expect any privacy from neighbors who all have windows facing the unit, also if you are sensitive to noise, I'd think again. The main road is very loud and hard to sleep through the night if you are a light sleeper. It's very obvious this is managed by a property management company that has many listings in the area and feels like are trying to get away with the bare minimum effort and supplies.

Great location/clean

The over stay was great! There were a couple of things though. The sofa bed sucked!! My poor kids has to sleep on a bed that caved in the middle because the sides of the bed didn’t lay flat. So if you need an extra bed then I’d look to rent roll away beds. The side was an old gas stove so there was a constant strong gas smell coming from it. One other complaint is all the neighbors put all their garbage cans in front of the garbage door so for a couple of days we were constantly having to move them so we could pull out of the garage. On a positive note, I loved the king bed! It was so comfy. I slept like a baby. I like how property management was easy to get a hold of and were really nice and easy to work with. We will definitely work with them in the future. Thank you!

We would definitely stay again!

Thanks Beachview Realty for hosting our visit to Newport Beach! We loved the location, the proximity to the beach, and the awesome view of the ocean on the roof top deck. The upstairs bedroom space is gorgeous. We appreciated that towels and othered necessities were left in a basket at the front door for ease of use. Many people commented on the noise level. The home is located on a major road, so there was traffic noise but nothing that deferred our enjoyment of the place. Beachview was extremely proactive in reaching out to make sure that we had what we needed to have a great stay. We would definitely stay again!

Family Visit

Quick weekend to visit my son who lives in Costa Mesa. This was a close location to him and walkable to Newport Beach pier area. The beach was only block and half away. Water views from balcony.

Beach vacation

Excellent location for all the fun things to do in Newport Beach. We had bikes delivered for the week and that worked out perfectly. Rental had everything we needed for the 3 of us. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!!

This upstairs apartment was located in a prime spot to walk to shops, restaurants, beach, and boardwalk. The apartment itself was clean and provided the basic necessities. However if you plan to cook, be aware that there is limited cooking supplies (which is stated in the listing). The closet space was huge. The whole apartment was plenty of space for myself for just over a week stay. Perfect for solo travelers or couples. The little dining table was big enough for a person who is working remotely to be able to get some work done. I used the table for a laptop and two portable monitors. I needed to contact management around 2-3 times and they were super responsive and very friendly. I believe management also rents out the first floor unit below. No one was staying in the first floor unit until my last couple days and I could almost hear every move they made and could actually hear some of their conversations, be aware of thin walls. Overall great stay!

Cute Little Place

This cute little upstairs apartment was perfect for our weeklong stay. It's not fancy, but for the price, I wasn't expecting fancy. It was clean and tidy. The location was perfect. Very close to the beach and within walking distance to food and shops. Because our stay included Thanksgiving day, we arrived to find a disposable roasting pan and a new roll of aluminum foil. I thought that was such a thoughtful touch. The walk-in closet was huge! It accommodated suitcases and clothes for all 4 of us with room to spare. The king bed was comfortable and my sons said the pullout sofa bed was also very comfortable. The little deck is nice and has a view to the ocean. The only things missing that were in the description were the low beach chairs and ironing board. Otherwise, the description was accurate. The checkout process was very easy and quick. I would definitely recommend staying in this cute little place.
