Timber Ridge 28: Ski In/ Ski Out, Spectacular View

1 King Bed / 1 Queen Bed/Large Sectional

Spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath ski-in/ski-out condo located at Timber Ridge in Mammoth Lakes. Sleeps up to 5 guests and is approximately 1,200 sq. ft. Please note: no pets or ESA animals are allowed in this unit—no exceptions. Please note that the blue run starts 75 yards from the front door to the right and will take you to Eagle Lodge. There is a short easy black run to Canyon Lodge from the marked access point.

This top-floor condo features vaulted ceilings, wood accents throughout, and large windows offering expansive views of the White Mountains and Sherwin Mountains. The living room includes a leather couch (additional bedding available but not a sleeper sofa), flat-screen Smart TV, wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), and access to a private deck.

The open floor plan continues with a corner dining area featuring bench seatingand a fully equipped galley kitchen with all the essentials for preparing meals.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, access to the deck, and a washer/dryer for guest convenience. A second full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is located off the hallway.

Additional amenities include a private 2-car garage and ski-in/ski-out access with groomed runs to both Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge.

Timber Ridge is a fantastic year-round location, offering direct access to skiing in winter and being just a short 10-minute drive to restaurants, shopping, the Lakes Basin, and bike paths in summer.

Family Ski Trip

Summer time

Great spot. Great sunrises and views of the valley Far enough away from town but still very close to everything. Having a garage was a nice benefit. Overall a great stay.

Cozy Cabin Feel

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is decorated in a woodsy feel. Had everything we needed. They aren’t kidding when they tell you it’s up a long hill. No problem for us in the summer time. Neighbors were a little loud at night, but that’s not the rental properties fault. Overall a great stay.

Difficult access in snow

Heads up - the beds were short sheeted. There were flat sheets on the mattress - not fitted sheets - and they did not fold down around the mattress, the sheets hung out on the sides so when you turned in bed the sheets wrinkled and bunched underneath you. There was no top sheet at all - only a blanket on top of you. I was shocked. The mattress was extremely soft - something you do not encounter in any kind of premium accommodations. The kitchen was marginally equipped for cooking. I suggest you bring everything you may need for what you are planning to prepare for meals. The driveway to the condo was steep, extremely tight and twisty, on black ice. Attempt the drive only with 4 wheel drive AND CHAINS. A Subaru and a 4 wheel drive pick up truck each slid helplessly down the drive without being able to steer or stop while we were there. This unit is NOT ski in ski out - it was a block of walking up a very steep driveway on black ice to get to trail access. It is a shorter walk from 1849 condos or St. Antons condos to Canyon Lodge - although no one considers those ski in ski out. This unit is roomier than the Juniper Lodge condos, and has more character. The unit being a 70s or 80s era condo it is quite noisy between the units. There is no refund if you can't access the property because of snowfall - so heads up. Over this past 2022-2023 mega winter, that was most of the days in February.

Thank you for your feed back. I am sorry to hear that you thought there were some issues in the property. This in definitly not everyones experience. We did not hear from you during your stay otherwise we would have been happy to help with any bedding issues. We have never had a bed not be made with the correct sheets but if that was the case we would have liked to have been able to assist in making it right. The poperty is ski in/out. You are able to ski to Canyon or Eagle from here. If you access the mountain at Eagle you are able to ski from the condo. If you access the mountian at Canyon it is a small walk but you can ski back from that location. We did have the biggest winter on record this year. The entire town was snow covered and icy. Our description is very clear that this property does require 4x4 in the winter. Its location allows for beautiful views and easy access to skiing but this also lends itself to steep roads. The kitchen has all sizes pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils. Unless there is a very specific item it has everything you need to cook most meals. We recently did an inventory to confirm that the property is up to standards for kitchen items and it is equipped with almost everything we can think of. If you need something specific please ask before you come and we are happy to let you know if it is provided. Again, please reach out in the furture if we can help. We want everyone to have a good experience at Timber Ridge.
