Rural Somerset Get-A-Way features a private location on 3 country acres just moments from the Apple River and close to historic downtown Stillwater, and all the area has to offer. Guests enjoy two clean bedrooms, bathroom, modern living area, and full kitchen with private access to the lower level of Brad's home.
All spaces are updated and comfortable.

This location is AMAZING. If you are looking for an excellent wildlife viewing area, Prairie Flats – South Waterfowl Production Area is within walking distance. Whatever your hobbies or interests, the Somerset Get-A-Way location provides convenient access. Within a five-to-fifteen-minute drive you can visit the Cedar Lake Speedway, the Cedar Lake boat landing, Star Prairie Trout Farm, Apple River tubing, Bristol Ridge Golf Course, Historic Downtown Osceola, and Osceola & St Croix Valley Railway. The Interstate National Park and Historic Downtown Stillwater is a 21-minute drive and there is so much more to explore within this short distance.

This was our first stay at any place like this. Host/owner was beyond fantastic!!! What he had in the place blew my socks off stove oven microwave coffee pot
I told my wife we will NEVER stay at a hotel ever again

Very clean. Beds super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom had all we needed. It is out in farm country, but an easy ride to Osceola, New Richmond. We loved the peacefulness. The owner is very personable. We would stay again.

Nice lower level stay

Good comfortable space. Mud room is helpful if you have gear for fishing. Safe location with longer driveway that hides vehicle from road.

Weekend stay..

This was a quick selection for a weekend stay. Holiday party with family but they did not have enough room for everyone to sleep so this worked out perfectly. Everything was great and would recommend for a small family stay.

Wedding weekend shenanigans!!

We arrived on property on 9/27/24 at about 7:30 pm. The property was very easy to find. We were promptly met before we were able to get our bags out. Brad was a very great property owner. Went over everything that wasn’t in the already informative email. The place is definitely 5out of 5 stars. If I had one comment, it would be, he could use a few things in the kitchen as far as utensils. I feel like over time, those things will happen and definitely not a reason to aloof it. Cost was excellent and service even better. Thank you Brad!!

Weekend wedding

Great place to stay close to Croix View Farm wedding venue and Osceola. Property was very clean and the owner met us when we arrived. Plenty of towels and the beds were super comfortable. I would stay here again.

Great property, great host!

Would highly recommend the property and host. It was extremely clean and well stocked with coffee, water, etc. Communication from host was excellent as well. We went to a concert at the Somerset Amphitheater and the property was so convenient to that venue. We were also close to many wineries, breweries and a distillery. Fun place to stay for sure!

Get away

My husband and son wanted to get away and fish. They found beautiful streams just minutes away. We also found delicious places to eat near by and I shopped in Hudson and Stillwater! We will be back!

Great place!

This is a truly rural setting, so need to travel to venues. BUT it's centrally located and close to many different travel choices; Stillwater for shopping, New Richmond for golf, distilleries and wineries, great food choices and beautiful parks, scenic drives. Brad was a great host and the accommodations were just as described. Very nice, clean and easy to access. Beware the road construction and follow your phone's GPS. Thanks, Brad!

Great place to stay

This was a trip to see our friends, but not stay with them. We enjoyed our stay at Brad's rental. It was easy to find off the main road, he was very friendly. He just upgraded the shared kitchen and it has all the amenities you would need. His rental room and shared rooms are very clean, the house sits on a beautiful acreage . I would defiantly recommend his rental to a couple or a single visitor.
