Within walking distance of excellent shopping and restaurants right in the heart of West Seattle. Also one block from the express bus stop.

Great location for a cozy stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It is very well located to amenities and key buses, and as described. Communication with the host was great. Only thing I'd emphasize for guests is the kitchen is limited (one burner and a large toaster oven). We barely cooked as a result. But it was quiet, clean, and met our needs well.

I would heartily recommend this VRBO for an adult couple without children. The upstairs is very attractive and spacious, with lots of natural light, and is well cared for. The downstairs is much smaller in every way, including cooking space, eating space, sitting space, and natural light. If you plan to eat at restaurants and use it mostly as a home base and a place to sleep, it is more than adequate. If you are traveling with children (of any age) and/or expect to cook your own meals, the limitations of the downstairs will be more obvious. The open stairwell, which is necessary for natural lighting also limits the privacy of the upstairs (for those traveling as a family.) The price was fair. Access to public transportation is excellent, which was a big plus for us.

Everything you need in a great area

My wife and I booked this property so we could get a feel for the neighborhood and we loved it. The property is small but has everything you need to stay for a week of two, including parking which is a big plus. The location is very convenient, it's a residential neighborhood but just 10 minutes away from shops and restaurants and you can walk to Alki beach through a park in about 45 minutes.

Really Enjoyable!

For our purposes this was outstanding - close to many attractions, nearby bus stop, nearby good coffee and food, even nearby Trader Joe's! Lovely location, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful touches. Quiet area. Even a nice view! Host was helpful and responsive. No AC but plenty of cross breeze. And bear in mind it's one bathroom... 😁

Good and Easy Stay

Overall my family’s stay here was good! Super easy check in process and the house had everything we needed for our short stay. This place was the perfect distance from downtown and all of its activities, like 15 minutes. The dedicated parking was great to not have to worry about finding or paying for parking.

cozy little place

Location is quiet and convenient. Parking is right next to the building which makes loading and unloading easy, especially in the rain. It is easy to get to downtown via rapid ride bus. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. The cottage has all the daily conveniences such as toaster oven, dishwasher, paper towel, etc. However, cleanliness is not the strong suit. The sofa bed mattress has a large yellow stain and some food crumbs. The pillows and pillow cases also have some stain. There are many holes on the walls and questionable sauces in the fridge. There are some shavings on the hand soap bottle. Microwave handle was sticky. But overall, it was a comfortable stay and very cozy cottage.

Good location, needs a refresh

The property is quiet and in a good West Seattle location. Check in / out was smooth, and was glad to see details like laundry detergent and condiments taken care of. However, the property is in need of some love - there are holes in the walls upstairs and downstairs (some due to wall hangings, others to towel racks), and the bathroom was pretty dirty from the floor to the ceiling. I think with a little love, this place could really shine.

Wonderful Quiet Cottage in West Seattle

Had a few days between cruises and enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage. Quiet neighborhood close to restaurants, groceries and coffee. Description and photos are quite accurate. Shower is wonderful and great trader joe's products. Wonderful to be able to do your laundry and just relax and enjoy in peace. Only issue we had was intermittent issues with the wifi as we were trying to watch the stanley cup finals. Signal is better up stairs.
