Right on the river!

Welcome to Black Bear Vacations and Cozy Creek, where the name really does reflect the home :) This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a large dining area and spacious living room with a stone fireplace and large flat screen smart TV. All of the bedrooms have king beds and their own en suite bathrooms. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you would need to create delicious meals, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner (or even a midnight snack!). Head upstairs to the loft to enjoy a game of shuffleboard, play a few rounds of PacMan and other classic arcade games on the Multicade, challenge each other to a board game, or simply relax in the quiet and get lost in a book. And a soak in the hot tub is a welcome end to a long day of excursions and adventures.... :) I look forward to hosting you!

The location and cabin itself are very nice, and the setting by the river is beautiful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance did not meet expectations.The cabin was noticeably dirty upon arrival. Under the beds it looked like it hadn’t been swept in months, and there were cobwebs everywhere, both inside and outside. The rugs appeared never to have been cleaned. The bed sheets looked unwashed, so we had to wash them ourselves (thankfully we were provided with detergent), and we did not feel comfortable using the bed covers at all.Several amenities were also not in proper working condition. The BBQ grill was unusable (very dirty and not functional), and the hot tub clearly needs to be repaired or replaced, as it was in poor condition.Overall, the property has great potential and a lovely location, but it urgently needs thorough deep cleaning and better ongoing maintenance to match what is advertised.

Place has a lot of potential. It just needs to be kept up better. Start with a new cleaning crew. Many areas were just dirty, plain and simple. Many light bulbs needs changes. Grill was destroyed, called agent/owner on it. We had only planned to use once, but never got a replacement. It's a cabin, you will hear other rooms and outside (it was much better once slammedenough left). It's 5 miles from Pigeon Forge main drag, so convenient to everything. You will need wifi as cell service was not there. Again, has potential, just needs a better crew to get things ready. We took many pics of everything.

We liked the property overall. I did, however try to contact the host to let her know that there was hair all in our bed upstairs that made me wonder if the beds had been made up without being washed. Hair was on the front and back of the pillows and on the sheet itself. When i tried to contact the owner, there was no response from her. The cabin is pretty spacious though, had private balcony...it is located in a cluster of other cabins but still very peaceful. We liked alot of things about it, just a big negative with the sheet situation and no response from host

My family and I loved the house! Lots of room for everyone! We all loved having our own en suites! House is in need of a little work: one cabinet's door was off (easy fix), and the hot tub (though it felt wonderful after a long day) was not in the best of shape. There was also more noise than we expected, since the back of the house was somewhat close to the road. AND there was an unofficial car event which not only created a lot of noise from the road, but also in the Smokey Ridge development. Definitely no one's fault, since it was an unofficial event, but something to consider if you're planning on staying at the end of September. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you're traveling with couples/family Everything was very clean and the furniture was comfy.

The inside of the cabin was clean and nice, few lights were missing bulbs or were burned out. We were looking forward to the gas grill but it was missing the grate and was not ready to use. We had to sweep a lot of built up spiderwebs of the balcony and outside furniture before we could use it. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the drive into town. The beds are comfortable, the upstairs AC was a little warm but not bad. It was nice to have each room with there own bathrooms especially with a toddler.

Overall it was a good experience the cabin was very nice in general and very easy to find. Also a great location compared to everything else. There was a few things that the listing had mentioned such as air hockey, that we did not see present. Honestly the biggest thing that would have made the trip better would have been better cleanliness. There was overall dirt on the floors, also the hot tub had like a white scum inside and on the outside of the hot tub the wood was rotting. The jet tub in the master bedroom was not operational. There were major cobwebs everywhere outside. Now I understand it's non the woods, but most of them looked like they had been there for a long time. There was a broken cabinet door which is of course just an eye sore. There was also several lights that were not operable, which made it hard to see at night outside as you are walking in. Overall it could've been better but it was still a good time. The host was very good to respond and helpful.

Cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. Cabin was located in a nice neighborhood and only 6 miles from Parkway. The only negative are the thin ceilings between floors. You can communicate at a normal voice with people in bedroom upstairs from the downstairs bedroom. No private conversations can take place in the bedrooms.

Beautiful cabin, there were six of us that stayed in the cabin sisters, brother and spouses. We had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room. I would recommend staying there the owner was very easy to answer any questions you may have.We also had three days of visits from the bears which we really enjoyed!!

Enjoyed our time!

Cabin was awesome. Very clean and relaxing. Hot tub and deck were very enjoyable. Upstairs mattress was uncomfortable with springs being squeaky and poking in one of the bedrooms. But the other furniture was very comfortable. The grill is not really useable. We would stay again and also try one of the other Black Bear Vacation properties.
