Only bed linens provided. Min 3 night stay.

2 floors (1st floor is at ground level)
Washer/dryer, 2 very close parking spots, very close to shopping and restaurants, Wi-Fi, Netflix, Hulu, & Disney +, 1 bike (no guarantee the bike is there and working), beach chairs/toys, wagon, canopy, pack n play. -Hurricanes/tropical storms occasionally cause mandatory evacuations of the Outer Banks. I am unable to refund you if this happens during your stay.
-Please read the details listed with each picture. -Grilling is not permitted.

We had a nice week on OBX and found the host to be wonderful! PROS: proximity to a nice beach access, general location, pretty clean space. CONS: Sleep was an issue for us. There are no curtains on the windows (just miniblinds) so light from the streetlights lit up the rooms at night. Mattresses and pillows are thin and uncomfortable. Garbage and other trucks are loud in the mornings. We also had an issue with a leak in the ceiling downstairs which the owner resolved within 24 hours, however the wifi device that was installed to detect leaks started beeping in the middle of the night and there was no way to disable it without removing the wall cutout and unplugging it. There's not really anywhere to hang your wet towels or bathing suits. Overall we had a nice week but in the future we'll pay a little extra to stay elsewhere to get all of our needs met.

This was a great beach house for families. The house is very well organized. The host provided tons of games and beach equipment. The walk to the beach is short and easy, plus there are many stores and restaurants within a short distance. We would definitely stay again.

Clean, Quiet, and Close to Beach!

This property was a 4 minute walk to the beach and included access to a wagon, beach chairs, etc which made our vacation fun even better! The property was clean and communication was a breeze! The place was easy to find and the neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of local eateries and shops. The only thing missing that I have experienced with other air bnbs was simple amenities such as hand soap, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, wash cloths, and towels. Traveling with these items isn’t ideal, but we made it work! I recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and easy stay on the beach in OBX!

Great Location/Family Friendly

Two blocks from the beach, restaurants/grocery stores all in close proximity. Family focused w amenities: bikes, beach chairs, boogey boards all available onsite. Hosts email quickly, an excellent spot for a small family or group of 4-5 people.

Relaxing Condo Near Beach

Great 2 bedroom condo just a few blocks from ocean and beach. Two good bathrooms and kitchen to make snacks. We watched movies and enjoyed quiet evenings.

Great Location, Perfect for couple or small family

Perfect location, 2-minute or less walk to beach, restaurants, pharmacy; 3-minute drive to grocery store. Sparsely decorated, small but comfortable and clean space. Enter ground floor into small common area -- living room, dinette area, functional kitchen and half-bath; upstairs 2 bedrooms (1 w/ king, 1 w/ two twin beds), full bath. Great for couple or couple with one child or two small kids. Lots of light comes in through blinds at night -- blackout shades or curtains would be nice addition. Beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes (that actually work!) provided in outside storage area. Pleasant, helpful host, though everything worked and we didn't need anything. Overall excellent. Would stay again.

Great Beach Getaway

We had a great time and we would definitely recommend this home. We particularly enjoyed how close it was to the beach. The house was nicely decorated and the environment was very peaceful. The host was always very quick to respond. The home was conveniently located to many of the sites we enjoyed visiting including the Wright Brother’s Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge, and The Lost Colony theater productions. We packed a lot in to our short trip and it was always nice returning to the comfort of this home.

Good for a small family

Good for a small family, but very noisy early in the morning due to garbage pickup and restaurant deliveries. No dishwasher, but the washer and dryer combo is nice to have.

This property was perfect for us. Great location, close to everything. The place was spotless. We didn't use the kitchen but it was stocked with any dishes and pans you would need. The host was quick to respond to any question we had. Overall, its an A+😀

Teen Girl Spring Break

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is located just minutes from the beach and tons of other attractions. The home was beautiful and super clean! The girls loved it and already want to book another stay. Super easy to deal with Heather and I would highly recommend for a small family or group of friends.

Home Away from Home

This is our second time renting Heather’s place. We love the centralized location. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and easy walk to the beach. We drove all the way to Corolla and took the ferry to Ocracoke. Staying in Kill Devil Hills made it accessible for us to drive and explore OBX. It is so easy to communicate with Heather. We would definitely stay in this place again.

Location + great place= happy vacation

Great location, so close to the beach. Walking distance to great breakfast and other restaurants. Quiet, clean, and all around just perfect. Property was clean and loved the beach decor. Downstairs is the kitchen dining area living room and 1/2 bath while upstairs is the full bath and 2 bedrooms. Combo traditional and kcup coffee maker, typical stocked kitchen. Super clean and would totally stay here again. This getaway was just what me and my daughter needed. Thank you.

Cute condo with easy access to beach

Condo is very clean and nicely decorated with a nice supply of outdoor equipment including two carts, boogie boards, canopy and two bikes. Beach access is a block away and CVS is across the street. Beds are very comfortable. Nice selection of board games. Few notes: 1. Unfortunately someone before us damaged two boogie boards we had planned on using. We should have brought our own from home but we’re trying to save space. Ask about current condition of outdoor items ahead of time. 2. The description reads as if towels are provided but they are not. We had to buy a set for the four of us. This should be changed on the description so people can plan accordingly as we weren’t made aware until we received the checkin email a few hours before arrival. 3. No soap for dishwashing or bathrooms are provided either. Only a few sheets of paper toweling left. These are things we typically see at places but didn’t here so plan accordingly. 4. The kitchen does not have storage containers for leftover food, Pyrex pan for cooking or a blender. Oven also runs HOT. Keep an eye on the food as it will take no where near the time to cook your food. Yes, we set off the fire alarm once after only 8 mins into a 18 min cooking time. 5. One TV in condo in living area. Overall, a nice clean place. Just wish we would have known about some of this before arriving as we would have planned differently and hope it helps as you plan your stay. Enjoy! OBX was gorgeous.

Location of the house is great. Short walk to the beach and lots of food options. Accessories provided by the host for the beach (wagon, chair, tent and toys) were a great addition. Would definitely stay again.

Hi. My husband and I bought this house to enjoy as our crazy lives allow. We are renting it to help offset the costs. We are both teachers and we have two daughters, ages 17 and 15. We absolutely love the Outer Banks and visit multiple times a year despite the 9 hour drive. We even got engaged on the beach in Southern Shores 21 years ago! We have enjoyed the beach and shopping at the Outer Banks, but we’re hoping to get to all of the other exciting things like the tours/history, shows, restaurants, and water sports soon!

The entrance and 1st floor are at ground level and parking 20 feet from the front door, which makes things so convenient. The house is also in a great location if you like to do a little bit of everything. ItÂŽs a short walk to the beach and just a short drive from a ton of restaurants, activities, and shopping.
