Our Lazy Moose Log Cabin is the perfect rustic retreat! Summertime at the cabin includes access to a hot tub, two lakes, a pool, tennis courts, boats, fishing and more!! Features a hot tub and cozy gas fireplace for snuggling up on cold winter nights. Both bedrooms on 1st floor feature queen beds. Very comfortable for a couples retreat or larger family; close to the best hiking in the East, lakes, amazing ski resorts, craft breweries, coffee shops, restaurants of every kind and sightseeing! The Lazy Moose Log Cabin is perfect for a couple or small family seeking a comfortable spot to enjoy nature. Full kitchen with Carrera marble countertops and stainless appliances, bathroom with custom tile surround, three well appointed bedroom, and fireplace. The cabin is situated on a quiet side street with only one house in sight. This cabin is in the Mountain Lakes community which offers many amenities including: outdoor pool, two lakes, beaches, boat/kayak rental, tennis courts, basketball court, lodge, sledding hill in the winter, and frequent fireworks at the lake. The cabin offers TV, DVD player with many titles, wifi, unlimited local and long distance (domestic) calling, books and vintage games. Get truly unplugged and remember what it used to be like to relax. There is no cell phone reception, however you may be able to dial using the wifi. There is a small convenience store/gas station within walking distance that offers pizza and subs (delivery in the summer). Guests will have access to the entire cabin, with the exception of the basement & garage. Guests will need to access the cabin by the door on the 1st floor, which is on the left side of the cabin. The basement is currently being remodeled and houses the washer and dryer which may be accessed by the housekeeper periodically, as needed. Additionally, the garage has many of the owners belongings in it and may also be accessed by the owners throughout your stay. Owners have a second home located next to this cabin and may be around during your stay if you need anything.

Rustic but comfortable log cabin. The hosts were very nice and checked in to make sure my stay was going well. Nice kitchen to cook in, hot tub, firepit, and lots of bedroom spaces. I went to hike so it's convenient to some good locations. I would highly recommend it!

Awesome in every way. Clean, well stocked, open concept, helpful hosts, jacuzzi, fire pit (we couldnt use, fire ban). Great location at the western beginning of Kancamangus Hwy. Kitchen complete including dishwasher, stove, microwave and full size fridge/freezer. Nice cabin feel decor. Warm and cozy yet sleeps up 6. 2 queens main floor and 2 twins upstairs loft.

Beautiful state

Loved the surrounding area and did lots of exploring and hiking. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Plus a neighborhood bear raided the trash dumpster in front of the cabin one morning and evening.

Perfect Girls Weekend

From booking the property to checking out, the whole process was a breeze. The house was very clean as was the hot tub. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and only a 15 to 30 minute drive to great hiking and food spots. Highly recommend!

Relaxing cabin

This is a very chill, relaxing cabin that's in a lovely area close to hiking and other outdoor activities. The house itself is great, and the owner was extremely responsive when we needed the circuit breaker reset. Highly recommend!
