Wake up to golden light through Spanish moss and the quiet hush of the May River just down the street. This whitewashed brick ranch in the heart of Old Town Bluffton pairs Lowcountry charm with modern comfort — four bedrooms, three full baths, and a firepit-lit backyard made for long, easy evenings. Golf cart to the Promenade for dinner, paddle the May River at sunset, then unwind under string lights with the people you love. This isn't just a place to sleep — it's the reason you'll come back.

Step inside and feel how much room everyone has to spread out. The open, airy living area is anchored by a deep gray sectional, a round wood coffee table, and a smart TV loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and Prime Video — woven wall baskets and warm textures give it a lived-in feel instead of a sterile rental vibe.

The kitchen is fully stocked and built for cooking, not just reheating: white cabinetry, gold hardware, a stainless french-door fridge, a GE gas range, dishwasher, and open shelving stacked with everything from a blender to a Keurig with pods included. A breakfast nook seats four, while the adjacent formal dining area — crystal chandelier, navy wall, gold geometric art — seats four more, so the whole group can gather without splitting up.

Down the hall, two king master suites each have their own ensuite bathroom, so couples never share a mirror. One features a tufted gray headboard wall; the other has a herringbone accent wall and hotel-quality linens. Two additional queen bedrooms — one navy, one herringbone with mauve tones — share a full hallway bathroom, each with its own ceiling fan and smart TV. Step out back and you'll understand why guests linger. A patio holds a gas grill, a dining table with umbrella, and Adirondack chairs facing the sunset. After dark, the stone firepit becomes the heart of the evening — six chairs, string lights, and no reason to go back inside. The fully fenced yard gives families and pet owners a secure space to relax, and a Level 2 EV charger sits in the driveway alongside free parking, a genuine rarity in this part of town.

Note: a separate carriage house on the property is its own private rental, not included in your stay — the two units share only the driveway, so your home here is private and self-contained.

You're steps from the center of Old Town Bluffton, one of the most walkable historic districts on the South Carolina coast, with the May River just down the street. Golf cart or walk to the Promenade for local restaurants and wine bars near the Church of the Cross bluff overlook — roughly a 5 to 10 minute stroll. The May River public boat landing, perfect for a sunset kayak or paddleboard, is an equally short walk, and the Saturday farmers market is an easy golf cart ride away.

For beach days, Hilton Head Island is about a 20-minute drive, reaching Coligny Beach and Shelter Cove's shops without the Hilton Head price tag. The only space not included is the separate carriage house, a distinct rental with its own parking; guests share nothing beyond the driveway.

Free parking is available directly on the property, so there's no need to hunt for street spots in a historic district where they're limited. The driveway fits multiple vehicles, and a dedicated Level 2 EV charger is installed on-site — a genuine, rare convenience in Old Town Bluffton. The carriage house has its own separate parking, so your spots stay exclusively yours.

We want every guest to have an amazing stay, and a few simple guidelines keep it that way for you and the neighbors. Check-in is after 4:00 PM, check-out before 11:00 AM; self check-in via smart lock means you arrive whenever works for your plans. Quiet hours run strictly 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM — the neighborhood enforces this closely, so please keep outdoor noise low overnight. We're happy to host up to 8 guests as booked; please don't exceed reserved occupancy. This home isn't available for local parties or events — we love welcoming travelers from out of town. We provide a starter supply of paper products, coffee pods, and laundry pods; longer stays may need a restock. Please bring your own firewood for the firepit; smoke and CO alarms are installed throughout.

Perfect Location for Margaritaville Wedding

We stayed here to attend a family wedding. I wish we had more time to explore Bluffton because it's such a cute area. The home was PERFECT for our crew. Had everything we needed for our short stay. As a preference for our crew, we needed a little less firmness for the beds. If there was a 2" mattress pad, think we would have so been fine.

Most Enjoyable!

House is in a great location. We were able to walk to dinner each evening and enjoyed biking thru the area right from the house. House was nicely decorated, very clean and all in order. The master bedroom, off kitchen, had a really comfortable bed and liked the double sinks in bath. We didn’t use back patio or fire pit but more a few chairs to front porch for morning coffee. We’d stay here again. 😊

Golfing trip

Our stay at 14 Lawrence St was a good stay. My brothers and I played 3 rounds of golf that was nearby the home, which made everything very convenient for us. The ONLY issue was trying to unlocking the front door with the code at check-in, but Brandon responded IMMEDIATELY once I contacted him with the issue. Other than that, my brothers and I really enjoyed it all.

Moving to Bluffton

We are in the process of selling our house in Ohio, we signed a lease 2 months ago for one year so we could take our time and learn the area before we buy. Unfortunately the landlord was not as good as he presented himself to be at our initial meeting. He had not cleaned to house after the previous tenants moved out. It is a nice looking house in a nice neighborhood and we were shocked by the conditions we were expected to live in. We had to scramble to find a new house for rent for our family of 6. During this very stressful time we were grateful to find this wonderful spot (on short notice) very close to a previous VRBO we stayed at. It was a huge help in relieving some of our stress. We prayed for a resolution and God provided one. This very well managed list was part of it.

Nice place in Olde Town Bluffton with minor deficiencies

Overall it’s a nice place to stay. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had high quality furnishings, beds, appliances, and sheets and towels. The location was quiet and convenient. There were several minor deficiencies. The driveway is unpaved and was sandy and a little muddy. The backyard was bare dirt and mud. The flooring inside was mostly concrete painted gray. There were 6 room deodorizers plugged into outlets through the house and the scent was overwhelming until they were unplugged and stored away. There was only a slight “old house”smell once the perfume scent dissipated. We enjoyed the stay and have no regrets, but it’s not a luxury accommodation.
