Great place to stop for the night along the Cabot Trail. Super cute cabins with a comfy bed and great location. Plus they are dog friendly!

It was a great experience and comfortable stay at this place. The communal kitchen is helpful and the fire pit is a nice addition to enjoy under the night sky. We had a great time at night enjoying the sound of ocean waves, a sky full of stars - it was a memorable experience for us and hope to visit again soon! Will definitely recommend for anyone looking to go glamping at the Cabot trail

Peaceful Pod!
Absolutely loved the set-up of the Pods. Ours was so cozy and inviting after a long day exploring and out in the fog. The wash house is fantastic with showers and toilets. Definitely comfortable camping :)

Overall a good stay. Cute, comfortable and clean pods. The perfect blend of camping and hostel. Was confused about how to find our pod and couldn't reach anyone by phone to ask questions. We thought we had booked a pod with two beds and ended up with one bed (i ended up sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag-a little hard). Other guests had the opposite; they booked one bed and got two.

Undiscovered gem! Property has shared kitchen with bathrooms and free showers. BBQ with propane provided for camper use along with camping chairs, picnic table, dry firewood and kindling for a communal fire! Even the roasting sticks are supplied! I’ve already been recommending his property to others! I would certainly go back if ever I’m the province!

Difficult to find
Showers had little hot weather - more like warm to cool - and terrible water pressure.

Disappointing!
Not impressed with the cleaning of the place, bathroom, kitchen and pod. Did not see/meet with the host … would not go back or even recommend it

Sorry you were disappointed. the vast majority of our guests have been happy with their stay. Perhaps this was not the right kind of facility for you and you should check more carefully in the future.
Here are some reviews from guests who were there the same time as you:
"I had the most amazing stay in Paula's cozy cabin. She is a wonderful host and gives great tips. I would absolutely come back!!"
"This was such a sweet find! The perfect place for our second night in the Cabot Trail, we would have stayed longer! The cabins are simple, cozy, and comfortable, we slept well. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are right nearby and well-equipped. The cabins are gathered like a little village with lantern-lit walkways, and there is a nice communal fire pit. The Salty Roses shop and Periwinkle Cafe are right next door and added such charm!"
"Great little cabin to stay while on Cape Breton Island. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy."

I tried washing my clothes in their laundry facility, my clothes were stuck in the machine for a very long time. Finally I got them out soaking wet, had to take them to another laundry mat to dry them, which took $15 to finally get them to dry. Definitely not impressed since I did leave $5 in the cup to wash them.
