I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with the door lock. The unit uses a keyless entry system, which is the same type of lock used throughout the entire condo complex and provided by the HOA here. The lock is already set to automatically secure the door, so guests don't need to worry about locking it. We also provide detailed instructions on how the lock works in the check-in information. If there had been any confusion during your stay, I would have been more than happy to help clarify how it works. We provide our contact information and encourage guests to reach out anytime if they have questions or need assistance. Regarding parking, there is free parking available located next door just a short walk back to the unit. We also include detailed instructions for that as well in the arrival information. We do our best to be transparent with our listing, including photos and descriptions that accurately reflect the unit and its amenities. The studio offers a great central location on the island and we aim to keep our pricing affordable for guests visiting Hawaii.

There are several great beaches near the condo that locals and guests enjoy. I would have been happy to provide you with recommendations if you reached out to me as my family and I are all very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location of the unit is central to the whole island and has some of the best conveniences all around which makes it perfect for exploring both the north and south side of Kauai.
