Experience a comfortable and convenient stay in this second floor 1-bedroom studio located along the Coconut Coast. This unit is perfect for guests who are looking to explore the beautiful island of Kauai. The location is extremely convenient for getting around with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. It is centrally located and only 30 mins away from the north and south side of the island. This unit has a comfortable King-sized bed and full sized bathroom along with AC!

You can lounge by the swimming pool or walk along the beach which is just steps away from the property. At Kauai Kailani, you will find yourself right at home. BBQ Grills, Meeting/Recreation Room, Ping Pong Table, and Books are provided here for ease of access and your convenience.

The location is extremely easy for getting around the whole island. You can access multiple beaches, shops, numerous restaurants/food trucks, and not to mention having a Safeway right across the street.

Nearby activities include surfing, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, golf, kayaking, and so much more! I am always happy to provide recommendations if you have any questions as well.

Security, there was no deadbolt the one lock on the door and it did not work properly . Parking was terrible. The room itself was OK.

I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with the door lock. The unit uses a keyless entry system, which is the same type of lock used throughout the entire condo complex and provided by the HOA here. The lock is already set to automatically secure the door, so guests don't need to worry about locking it. We also provide detailed instructions on how the lock works in the check-in information. If there had been any confusion during your stay, I would have been more than happy to help clarify how it works. We provide our contact information and encourage guests to reach out anytime if they have questions or need assistance. Regarding parking, there is free parking available located next door just a short walk back to the unit. We also include detailed instructions for that as well in the arrival information. We do our best to be transparent with our listing, including photos and descriptions that accurately reflect the unit and its amenities. The studio offers a great central location on the island and we aim to keep our pricing affordable for guests visiting Hawaii.

Good air conditioned space. Bed was comfortable. Once the parking situation was figured out it was fine. Could walk to dinner and coffee. A nice bar next door with live music, a great ukulele and guitar combo. Very basic. A clean, safe, and comfortable space from which to explore Kauai.

The location was fantastic. The property fronted the beach and was within walking distance of a few good restaurants. The room worked for the two of us. It was small but cozy. I really like that VRBO properties always look like their photos so you know what you are renting.

Our stay at David's was wonderful. There was a leak in the AC when we first turned it on due to the drastic temperature change, but David immediately called and he and his daughter came by 30 minutes later to install a drip catcher panel. Shampoo/conditioner/soap all provided, as well as some dishware. Location was great, right across the street from Safeway and Wailua shave ice. Would stay here again!

So lovely!

This was a perfect place for us to have access to the whole island. Conveniently located near many shops, restaurants, and beaches, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The space was basic but we didn’t need anything more. We would absolutely stay again!

Great stay!

This place was just what I needed! It would be a good place for 1-2 guests. Great location on beach and close to stores and restaurants. It was so nice sleeping with windows open at night and listening to the ocean. Great having the elevator to second floor. Place was clean and had everything I needed. Owner was very responsive! I would recommend staying here.

Great location and Value

We had a great time staying here. The location was perfect being steps away from the beach. It was also close to shops and bars. There is a resident monk seal that sleeps on the beach. We named him Jerry. He may look dead but he's just a deep sleeper

Comfortable, walkable!

We stayed for here in Kapa’a for a few days. Honestly, I wish we wouldn’t stayed here to e entire time. It was clean and everything we needed was provided. It’s right on the beach and is walkable to some great restaurants. We especially enjoyed Lemongrass across the street. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay at Kauai Kailani

This was my 4th time on the property, 3rd time booking through this host, and 1st time in this particular unit. The AC was helpful to cool the room when fans and windows weren’t sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were a handful of dishes and silverware. The room seemed larger to me in person than in the images; I was very comfortable and happy with it. There is nothing like watching the sunrise on the beach right in front of the property. The location is perfect with easy access to Kapaa Town and Lihue, and being directly across the street from a grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurant. I continue to recommend this property to anyone I know traveling to Kauai and will definitely be back!

Very clean and great studio.

There are several great beaches near the condo that locals and guests enjoy. The location of the unit is central to the whole island and has some of the best conveniences all around which makes it perfect for exploring both the north and south side of Kauai. Beautiful location

This location was amazing! Right on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants with a grocery store right across the street! Great for those who tend to be out and about during the day and looking for a clean convenient place. I loved watching the sun rise on the beach with a cup of coffee every morning!

Perfect Getaway

Amazing Stay!

This property was amazing! The place was very clean with great amenitits. The checkin process was very simple and we loved having a code on the door. The property is literally right on the beach and it was perfect. David was a great host and was very communicative and made the property feel like a home away from home. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent Stay

There was a slight hiccup due to my own fault but the management, Dave, went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I during our anniversary trip to Kauai. We absolutely will be recommending any rental properties owned by Dave and his family. We are already planning out our trip next year!
