Overview:

Farmhouse of Blessing is a lovely cottage set in Holmes County, OH, home to one of the nations largest Amish populations. You will enjoy our sparkling clean home that offers a calm and relaxing environment. We also offer free late Sunday checkout. No checking out until 4:00.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area with original brick and beams, and a lovely outdoor patio area. There are two bedrooms, a pull out couch in the dining room, and two full bathrooms. The laundry room has a vanity/sink area to supplement the bathrooms.

If your check-out date falls on a Sunday, we offer free 6:00 PM Sunday checkout. It's our way of saying thank you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

-- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

Farmhouse of Blessing was a perfect place to stay. It’s centrally located to all things you want to visit while in this area. It’s a peaceful and very comfortable place to stay. My friend makes a trip east of Canton to visit her hair stylist every 6 weeks and this was a wonderful place. We spent a day working on our knitting and sewing projects
plenty of room for this. Comfortable beds! We will definitely return this winter to stay a few days.

The host family was so wonderful. One of their sons rode over to help when they saw us - which was great because we didn’t have the code to get in the house. The house was so beautiful and so charming and everything is so perfectly arranged for a wonderful visit. Everything is absolutely immaculate and the sunsets over the pasture are beautiful. Their kittens in the barn to Pet and the horses are very friendly. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make a nice dinner, and there’s a wonderful little coffeehouse CafĂ© within walking distance. It was wonderful to listen to the horses hooves and see the buggies ride by. We told our three teenagers that we wanted them to see what America was like a long time ago, and their discovery that this way of life is very much this way in wonderful Amish Ohio
.made a big wonderful impression on our teenagers. All of the places you will want to visit are close by. The Troyer family is wonderful and we loved learning a bit about the history of this special farmhouse and its restoration. THANK YOU for our perfect vacation!

This home was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We loved the homey decor, the scriptures displayed and the extra touches that made us feel welcomed. The host was exemplary with communication. This is one place that we want to visit again. We would not change anything about this cottage!!! 10 stars. Recommend to everyone!

It was a great house. Clean and large for 2 bedrooms. Had pictures of house before it was remodeled which was interesting. Horses on the property we could pet. We talked to the owners. Hiked at Dundee Falls that was 10 minutes away. It was a good hike and shaded so we kept cool. Will definitely stay here again.Sometimes I didn't get answers to my questions in a timely manner or VRBO answered before our host. Will still stay here.

A wonderful getaway

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this charming and welcoming farmhouse. It’s within easy distance of all attractions in this beautiful part of Amish country. We had the most lovely visits with the horses and the cats on the grounds, and we also met the property owner who could not have been nicer or more helpful.Our three days were restorative in all ways, and we are looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful Home

The home was absolutely beautiful! Everything was as pictured in the listing. It truly felt like our home away from home. We have found our go to place to stay every time we visit Holmes County!

Farmhouse is a Blessing!

This was a wonderful stay for my two siblings and myself who only get to connect once or twice a year since some are out of state. The house was decorated just like out of a Country Living magazine. It was well stocked with all the necessities plus many extras. The beds and linens were like new. Would definitely stay here again as the owner was very responsive and even checked in on us! Truly a blessing!

What a wonderful time with friends in the Blessing House! Beautifully decorated, lots of amenities supplied! Wonderful to meet the owners while visiting their horses in the stable! Will be back!!!
