Cozy Waterfront Oasis

You ll have a great time at this water front property. Newly painted and freshly updated. Can fish and crab right off the deck. Enjoy the ducks and swans as they come visit. Bring your boat or jet ski and dock off near by at Louie’s BaitCamp. No boat, no problem, bring your Kayak or paddle board and enjoy Galveston Bay. This house is 2 bedroom one bath and fully equipped with towels , linens , fully equipped kitchen , Wi-Fi and balcony views of the water. This property is 10 minute drive to the beach and Galveston Texas. Pleasure Pier Amusement park Schlitterbahn water park and The Strand area for shopping and restaurant s about a 10 min drive too in Galveston. Kemah Boardwalk is about a 30 min drive and NASA Space Center about 25 min drive . The Cruise terminal is about 12 minutes away too. The closest airport is William P. Hobby Airport 31 miles.

In the neighborhood there are 3 Great local restaurants! Louis BaitCamp, Bayou Bistro and Baja Cantina : Louis BaitCamp has a small hangout bar can even fish off the pier .

Enjoyed our stay so much. The property was clean & comfy. It's located near shops & restaurants. My family enjoyed fishing both at the property and several locations nearby. The host was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

This was a wonderful home with a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet nights and the ease to get to other areas. The home had everything we needed for a comfy stay. There were plenty of towels, and the air conditioners worked so well! They're is a tankless hot water heater so you never run out of hot water, that was so nice. The owner was very responsive and so kind, she made suggestions on places to go. All in all a fabulous vacation experience.

Great place.

The house had everything we needed to stay comfortably. Reasonably price, close to family and didn't need to go far to get food and necessities.It was very clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable.

Very nice home in good location. Location is very close to interstate 45.

Listing is very accurate. My husband and I needed a relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. The swing was very nice in the evenings. Peaceful, water right behind house, allowing for fishing if you like. Ducks swimming and fishing jumping. We even managed to catch and release a crab. Very short drive and you are at the beach. Thanks Jillena it is just what we needed.

Quiet and secluded by the water

Very nice If you don’t mind outside bugs and cats. We didn’t mind at all and enjoyed the beautiful morning and evening views beside the ducks .Bugs are understandable because of the water . Just be sure to bring bug spray. It was a great romantic get away . Will be back soon with the kiddos !

Loved it!!

Really nice small place. Loved being right on the water and being able to fish right outside the house. They have everything you need there. The house could use a deep clean for the curtains and baseboards ect but the owner said she just bought it, everything was nice and neat still. There was plenty of dishes and utensils for us to use. All the rooms have window units and they work pretty well except there is no way for air flow in the bathroom and it gets HOT! The front bedroom unit is a little smaller so it doesn't get the room ice cold but still gets it nice and cool. If I could give any tips it would be to put up a sun shade on the front porch by the front door...the sun is on it all day and it gets so hot in the house and the door is even hot to touch.. The property has no next door neighbors so that was really nice that there was some privacy and we could do our own thing. It is a very quiet road so there was barely any traffic. There's a bait/ice store almost next door and there is a dollar general on the next street. Owner always responded quickly.. Would love to stay again!
