Cette belle maison d'un étage est située dans une impasse privée dans la baie de Lick Creek, sur le prestigieux lac Oconee. À quelques minutes d'une rampe de mise à l'eau publique juste à côté de l'autoroute 44, à quatre milles du Ritz Carlton et à un mille de Cuscowilla. Arrivez d’Atlanta ou d’Athènes en un peu plus d’une heure ou d’Augusta en une heure et demie et vous êtes certain d’échapper au tohu-bohu de la vie quotidienne.

La maison est entourée de grands chênes et est séparée de la rue calme par une cour de la taille d’un terrain de football. De grands arbres bordent le lac où vous pouvez suspendre votre hamac et profiter de la brise relaxante du lac. La cour arrière est plate et clôturée, ce qui empêche les enfants et les animaux domestiques surveillés de rester à l'écart du lac lorsque les adultes ne sont pas entendus. Il y a un quai max qui est idéal pour la pêche et la natation. Un double garage protège votre voiture du soleil. Cette maison est impeccable avec une cuisine en granit améliorée et une nouvelle couche de peinture. Décoré dans un style lodge avec des meubles en cuir et des couleurs chaudes et neutres. Vous ne voudrez pas quitter cette maison.

Everything was great! It was a wonderful stay! The house has a great and relaxing view and is very central to everything in Lake Oconee and nearby Eatonton. We had a wonderful stay. Perfect quiet spot for some fishing right out the back door. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. House is very well stocked with everything you need and more. Host was lovely to deal with.

Birthday fishing trip

We loved the location, on the water, very quiet and one level. The home was very well appointed with everything you could possibly want. It felt like home. Love the porch and the backyard with the fence so the dog could enjoy the outside. We would definitely go back to Lake Oconee! We went fishing with a tour guide came right to our dock and picked us up. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Great spot on Lake Oconee

We had a great week here on lake oconee. We loved the sunrise cove for kayaking and fishing. great dock to fish from and sit out, a great yard to let the dog run free and great fire pit. The owners couldn’t have been more responsive to our needs during our stay.

Lakeside peaceful

Enjoyed this peaceful lake property. The dock, fire pit and view are all wonderful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The home and deck need some work/updating but overall a good place to spend Thanksgiving with our Georgia family. Location is great. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Fun Lakation!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property which is nestled nicely in a quaint cove. The house is very clean with comfy beds. Easy access to the boat dock and our dogs loved the backyard. The outside needs some attention but didn’t deter us from being outdoors. We’d be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful weekend at the lake!

Joni's home is absolutely lovely. It's situated in a perfect little cove on Lake Oconee. Our pup loved the fenced in yard - there were even dog bowls provided in the dining area. The large kitchen was great to make our meals and the kids loved everything from the bunk beds to swimming right off the boat dock. Would love to return soon!

Family Lake Weekend

The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood on a nice spot on the lake. We enjoyed time on the dock swimming as well as kayaking and boating in the lake. We had everything we needed. Check in and Check out was simple. The host was great at communicating and answering my questions.

Very nice house in quiet neighborhood

My husband and I met our two married children and their spouses here for a week.We had such a good time. Spending most of the days on the water, then grilling at night and playing games. It was the perfect vacation. The girls had a spa day at the Ritz, and the guys played golf. The spa was great!

Leigh thank you for your review. We take your comments seriously and appreciate your feedback. Strangely enough, the shower head in the master bathroom was replaced in the past six months. It isn’t fancy but it is what the plumber had on the truck so we settled for it. The guest bathroom has great power so we haven’t replaced the head. Both bathrooms are being considered for remodeling. I’m disappointed one area that didn’t meet your expectations yielded us the lowest rating we have ever received. Perhaps it was due to the fact I had to withhold a portion of your damage deposit for leaving trash behind as you agreed to that in your contract. Nevertheless I hope we have the chance to rent to you again and next time I will be less forgiving on my rating of you as a guest. Thank you. Joni

Perfect location for our family getaway!

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving trip! We enjoyed a relaxing time with our adult children and family dog. Convenient to shopping and the highway. We had everything we needed to prepare and serve delicious meals. The home has very nice kitchen appliances, washer & dryer, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Fenced backyard was a bonus. Enjoyed spending time on the dock. The owner quickly responded to an email inquiry. Would love to stay again!

My husband grew up in Nebraska and spent his weekends in a cabin on Lake Jeffrey. His best childhood memories are of those times with family on the water. I grew up in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. We married and moved to San Diego, but I missed the lakes and trees and the ocean just did not have the character that lakes offered. We moved to Georgia in 1992. We love the southern hospitality and the BBQ. The heat and humidity, well not as much. After we had three boys, we knew we wanted to have a place to escape to on the weekends and to build life-long memories. We love spending time together on the lake. The boys are avid surfers, boarders, skiers, you name it. They also love to fish and hunt. I love the quietness of the neighborhood and the cove. It is never crowded with boats. I love to sit by the water and read or do crafts on the back deck. Please visit our home and let us know what you think.

With three young boys and a boat stored up at Lake Lanier, we had a frightening moment when our youngest of 15 months was nearly thrown overboard, right out of my arms, by a large house boat and speed boat creating havoc in the water. It was at that point I told my husband I would never take the children back to Lake Lanier. The traffic was frightening and the lack of restrictions on boats and boating made it difficult for families to enjoy. We researched Lake Oconee and absolutely fell in love with it the first time we visited. The lake is beautiful. The shoreline is beautiful. The homes are nestled in neighborhoods along the water or on golf courses. Whether you are a water enthusiast, fisherman, hunter, golfer, bookworm or craft enthusiast, there is something there for everyone. Great dining and shopping and a great movie theatre for those rainy days.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our cove is unique in that it is a "wind-protected" cove. Most days the main lake is very choppy and difficult to boat on. Our cove, on the other hand, is calm. It is not a main thoroughfare from the main lake to the marina. It is a perfect place for beginning skiers or wake boarders. It is quiet. No traffic noise. Stargazing is great at night. Our neighborhood is small and we have great neighbors. We have 150' of shoreline. When the days are too hot or rainy, enjoy time indoors playing games, assembling puzzles or watching movies. Please visit our home.
