Guests are always positive about our location, furnishings, and housekeeping!

Free and clear (no perfumes) for laundry use in the unit. All bedding is washed with laundry detergents that do not contain perfume prior to your stay. (Roxy is
allergic to lavender, and this is very important to her!)

Soaps, shampoos, and conditioners without perfume are available for guests.

Paved driveway and large parking area!

Stunning mountain views of Blue Mountain and Lolo Peak!

Central AC in the unit is designed to be cool without using AC!

Paved Grant Creek Biking and Hiking trail just across the road!

The kitchenette, fireplace, and private bathroom are for your use only. Large 600 SF studio completed in 2022

Wildlife, including deer, turkeys, and multiple species of birds, are in the yard frequently. Elk in fall and winter.

Centrally located 5 to 15 minutes from the airport, downtown, the University,
Reserve Street and Snowbowl! Located on 5 acres with your personal entry and a solar-lighted large parking area. Parking for even very large vehicles.

Shaded private patio with dining for your personal use. Owners have a private patio on the other side of the house. High-speed WIFI Internet service plus Netflix/Amazon and other options. Cell phone service. Multiple USB ports on bedside tables.

Furnished with: Dishes, pot and skillet, wine opener, utensils, coffee pot, coffee grinder, tea water electric pot, Italian leather electric reclining large sofa, queen size bed and bedding, luxury vinyl flooring, contemporary kitchenette, large refrigerator, new microwave, dishwasher, blow dryer, large color flat screen tv., zone lighting on dimmers. Google speaker for music and Verizon booster for cell phones. No pets are allowed.


We are both fully Covid vaccinated with booster shots and wipe down all surfaces between stays. All bed linens and towels are washed prior to your stay with free and no perfume detergents Solid core doors and added insulation in ceiling and walls for soundproofing. City water. We have been offering vacation rentals since 2012 successfully! Roxy Van Bockel is a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams in Montana.

Great location for skiing at Montana snowbowl. Very clean, spacious space. I was under the impression that Vrbo were entirely private rentals, this was a basement apartment with owners above. More of an air b and b, IMO. Great hosts but didn't need to smell their dinner and hear what they are watching on TV.

This is the second time we stayed here visiting Missoula. Great access to a beautiful trail right outside the door. Easy access to highway into town but there are many options for shopping and eating close by. The best part is the tranquility and spectacular view. Roxy is friendly and full of local information. Thanks again for a great experience.

Space was clean and had all the necessities. Great location for the wedding we attended at Snowbowl. Only comment for folks to be aware of is this is the lower level of their home and it is not insulated for sound, we were very aware of them being upstairs.

Great location

Wonderful hospitality from the owners.Beautiful location just out of the city, but not too far. Nice to enjoy the views and the trails outside of the city, but still be close enough to have dinners and conveniences of the city.

Perfect place to stay in Missoula!

Waking up to that view speaks for itself, but every time we came back for the night, we would comment on how we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Just minutes from town, you feel tucked into the countryside. It's quiet and serene, the perfect place to recharge after a day of adventure. We loved seeing all the deer and hearing the birdsong, and I really appreciated how clean it felt. That always makes it easier to relax.

Perfect in every way

The property was perfect in every way. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. There is not one thing that can be said that is negative about this property. There was everything you could possibly need for your holiday and stay. The location was outstanding with fantastic views. If you have the opportunity you should certainly stay here.

Majestic location

My wife and I took a winter (Dec 27-31) vacation and found our stay to be convenient, comfortable, and accommodating. We appreciate the cleanliness of the space and ease of access. It has great views of the valley across the road where wildlife roam. We will visit again.

Perfect!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights while I had to attend a conference in town. It is just as described in the listing and the reviews are spot on. It was a 10 minute drive to the conference, but allowed us peace and quiet in a wonderful setting. We would absolutely stay there again and it will be our “go to” for future visits to Missoula.

Perfect place for a few days stay

We loved staying here. The bed was great, the place was very clean and Roxy was there when we arrived. She walked us through the unit showing us where things were. The only thing missing is a toaster.

It was most enjoyable. The only thing (and this is only because I traveled with a friend who has problems with steps) is that the unit is in a walk-out basement and to get down is difficult for someone with limited mobility.

My husband and I have been providing vacation rentals and long-term rentals since 1999. We operated multiple vacation rentals on the Big Island of Hawaii and Missoula, MT since 2004. If you need something, we will definitely try to obtain it for you. We've lived in Missoula off and on since the late 1970s and permanently moved back in 2017. If you need some local information about the National Parks or what sights to see - please ask! Hiking, cross-country skiing, and bird watching are our favorite outdoor activities.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

In 2020 we bought this wonderful 5-acre parcel on Grant Creek Road. Up the mountain behind us is National Wildlife land and Forest Service land which means you will probably see wildlife daily. This is a larger home with a great view from both our upstairs unit and the downstairs walkout studio which we remodeled in 2022 as a vacation rental! It is a 600 SF studio (bigger than many homes!) with a private entrance, private shower bathroom, and new flooring, paint, and cabinets. We hope that you enjoy our location as much as we do!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love the wildlife we see both on our property and when walking the many hiking trails near us. Grant Creek hiking and biking trail is just across Grant Creek Rd from our property. What we enjoy the most is, that we are in the country but only 10 minutes from shopping on Reserve St. and less than 15 minutes from St Pat's Hospital via Interstate. Snow Bowl Ski area is just up the road from us! And don't forget to go to the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in Missoula. It's been voted one of the best in the country. The music venues here are great! And of course, we have the University of Montana in town and Grizzly fans are welcome!
