Cozy 3 bedroom Downtown Cottage

Built in 1937, this historic two story cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood near St. Patrick’s Hospital in downtown Lake Charles. Three bedrooms with queen size beds and 1.5 bathrooms provides plenty of space for you and your guests. The spacious and covered outdoor patio is perfect for a morning cup of coffee or evening drink with friends. With a fully functional kitchen and washer and dryer, guests would be comfortable staying for a quick weekend getaway or a month long business trip.

This cozy cottage is walking distance from downtown entertainment such as Drew park and the lakefront. Dine at local restaurants such as 121 Bistro and The James 710. Steps from parade routes and 3 miles from casinos, this space is perfect to enjoy all Lake Charles has to offer.

Very cozy and comfy!

My husband and I were in town for the holidays and stayed at this home for a few days. It's an older house, but it's got a nice kitchen, bright light, updated appliances, and a super comfy memory foam mattress in the master bedroom. It was winter during our visit, and the floors (in the bathroom, especially) got really chilly! But the house was warm and cozy overall, and I don't have any complaints. Plus, my little dog really enjoyed the spacious backyard. It's also close to a park and some nice restaurants as well. Oh, side note: it may be haunted. We got up one morning and the hall closet was open with a light on inside... a closet we never used nor opened. So there's that. Even if it is haunted though, it was a friendly ghost, so don't let that sway your decision. It was a delightful stay!

Everything was wonderful except the living room furniture it's impossible to sit in that living room and watch a movie on that sofa can pick one up at an estate sale half price on Saturdays a nice one other than that it was great

Great place to stay

Great Stay in Historic Neighborhood

My sister and I met in Lake Charles for our yearly vacation. It was just me and her and my dogs and we had an absolutely phenomenal stay! The host was extremely responsive and the home was really really comfortable, clean and very convenient for everything that we wanted to do! The mattresses are absolutely amazing, you will have a wonderful night's sleep here. There is central air and we stayed incredibly cool the entire time even though it was 100+ degrees outside. My dogs absolutely loved the beautiful big backyard and so did we! We played games outside and there was plenty of light out back thanks to the patio lights. We can't wait to come back next year and stay here again! We give it an enthusiastic 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend for anyone!

Great house, location and host!

I’m formerly from this area, so coming in to attend a function. Home was well stocked with all necessary items and amenities. Had to contact the host because I’m tech challenged and couldn’t figure out the thermostat. Quick response with directions on the brand new central AC system! Great fenced backyard, quiet neighborhood. I’m sure we will stay again

Super location and backyard

Great cottage. Fabulous location, quiet street, neighborhood yet close to everything. Excellent communication with owner. Large, fully fenced backyard is not clear from the listing. Very enjoyable space.
