Pool & Spa:
May through September, the pool is heated complimentary to 85 degrees via solar heat pumps.

October through April, the pool can be heated, but due to the low overnight temperatures and cost of propane it is an additional $200 per night, with a two night minimum. We need payment and five days notice to have it heated to 85 degrees by check in.

The spa is complimentary and heated year round.

This home was outstanding! We had 4 couples staying at the house for a wine trip. The location was quiet, the pool and hot tub were amazing! Hill top view and all the amenities that were included, pool table, corn hole, kitchen was spacious with 2nd bar top seating, gated for privacy. Host was responsive to questions. Very nice!

Family reunion

We stayed a week on property, this is the most well equipped vacation rental i have ever stayed in. They had everything we need and things we didn't know we did. Pool toys, cooking everything, spices, and the owners were very responsive and friendly. We loved having an electric cover on the pool with our little ones and the baja shelf was perfect for my elderly father to get in. We all wanted to stay longer and are already talking about going back next year.

This house is amazing. They have thought of everything. The pool is awesome and the view from the patio is beautiful. During our stay the power went out and a few seconds later it came back on, no PGE had not resolved the problem it was the backup generator that brought the power back. The generator kept everything running while PGE took almost 6 hours to replace a power pole. Each room had robes with slippers and eye masks, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, from ziplock bags, aluminum foil, all the spices and kitchen gadgets needed for cooking. The back yard had all the pool floats needed, lounge chairs, umbrellas. Ping pong, pickle ball, corn hole, what else do you need a pool table…oh yeah they had that as well. I am sure the TVs worked but we had so much to do we never turned them on. Great house, great area, great hosts everything you would expect from a luxury home

Multi Family Fun Weekend!!!

We stayed in this home with two other families. There were 4 tween/teens and 6 adults in our group. The house was very well stocked with high quality and well maintained items throughout. From the chase lounges to the kitchen and bathroom supplies... everything is provided with an appreciation for quality and comfort. We absolutely love this property and feel that the photos are great - but you really can't fully appreciate it until you are there!!! Thank you for providing a place for us to make wonderful memories with our friends :)

Amazing Weekend Stay

My girlfriends and I stayed for my birthday weekend at this amazing home! The property surrounding the home was beautiful & the home itself was amazing! It was fully stocked, organized, clean and the attention to detail was impressive. We all felt at home during our weekend stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the hosts for creating a home away from home for their guests. It was truly a memorable time for us all.

Thanksgiving

The property is beautiful. We used the pool and spa and all of the outdoor games every day. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare a thanksgiving feast. Plenty of room for the whole family to gather for Thanksgiving. Thank you!

Relaxing Stay in the California Central Coast

Wonderful stay with family and friends over the extended Labor Day weekend. The house and casita easily accommodated our group of 3 families (6 adults/4 teens). There was so much to do on the property, we never wanted to leave! From the wonderful swimming pool/hot tub to fun outdoor games (cornhole, ladder ball, croquet, lawn bowling, etc.) to indoor games and movies (pool table, a large selection of board games and books). We had four 12-14 year olds staying with us and they were easily entertained. We pulled ourselves away from the relaxing surroundings to explore the beautiful local central coast areas, including a trip to Hearst Castle and Cambria. The house is fully stocked with everything you may possibly need to cook homemade meals. We also enjoyed BBQing outdoors. Although the house is in a quite and picturesque farm and ranch area, the grocery store and downtown Atascadero are only a short drive away. Plenty of parking on property. We also enjoyed the nearby sounds of cows and horses throughout our stay. Not loud at all - very nice to hear. We all had a great time and hope to visit your wonderful property again in the future. Thank you!

Family Vacation

Couldn't ask for more!

Our small organization booked this house as a meeting location for our bi-yearly staff retreat. The house was impeccable and had everything we could ever need and more. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming. The pool and outdoor spaces were the most popular for our group. It was really lovely to eat meals al fresco. Not to mention, we were delighted to be visited by the herd of cows next door. We followed directions and stayed away from them, but that extra touch of nature made our stay very special. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility and relaxation.

This was a perfect place for a group of friends to spend time together inside and out. The house was clean,bedrooms were cozy and beds comfy! The kitchen was perfect for group breakfasts and dinner. Living room large enough to gather and share laughs and catch up. The house was close to wonderful wineries and restaurants. We enjoyed the outside area during the morning and evening and as it cooled down we sat by the fire table and enjoyed the night sky. We even dipped our toes into the beautiful pool. I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place in Paso.

Family Reunion

We were a family of 6 adults. We converged in Paso from different states pto spend 5 days together. The house and property was perfect. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of room. All wine tasting was approx 15 mins away. We were very happy with comfortable house and location. Would definitely come here again.

Cousins getaway!

Our stay at Casa Pura Vida was truly an unforgettable trip. The house was even more beautiful in person. It has such character and is very well maintained. We felt safe and comfortable as a big group of ladies. They had everything we needed and then some! Everything is in tip top shape and such a great gathering house for all of us 12 ladies! The host was extremely responsive (even when one of my signed docs didn’t go through.) She quickly communicated that to me and sent me the information needed. We would LOVE to go back to this gorgeous home!
