Cabin retreat in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest!

This property has adventure right outside the front door! It is located in close proximity to fishing, kayaking/canoeing, tubing, and swimming in the summer time, in the fall, it has some of the best hunting in the state for the outdoorsman. Take a ride around at dusk to see an abundance of wildlife. It also provides the perfect setting for family bonding, groups of friends around the fire pit, or a peaceful weekend with your love.
Highly recommend doing a horse trail ride at the Flying W!

Guests enjoy the indoor wood stove or they venture to the open fire pit to relax and roast marshmallows. The cabin also offers your main living area with a TV (no cable but DVDs available), full kitchen including a coffee maker, dining area, air fryer, crockpots and an outdoor grill. Kids and pets are welcome and happy to accommodate both!

Please bring your own BEDDING/PILLOWS! (I will have backups if you forget) Also, for more than 4 guests it’s recommended you also bring your favorite lawn chairs!

Famous Cougar Bob's - 1 miles away

Allegheny River – 5 miles away

Tionesta Lake - 8 miles away

Consider a drive to Kinzua as part of your itinerary as well!

NO SMOKING, pets allowed (fees apply), minimum age limit for booking is 30. Disclaimer: first picture is not taken on the cabin property.
I do require a photo of your liscense.
Taking Trash is optional, if you don’t have the room in your vehicle, its $5 a bag (goes to cleaning person).
Firewood will be discussed pre stay.

Cute weekend getaway for my family. Private area with friendly neighbors. The property was perfect for my family and 2 pups. Plenty of room and a nice size fire pit. Close to many activities in the area as well. The host was great to deal with and this was one of the best trips of our summer. We're in the area often and would stay here again for sure!

Awesome place to stay.

Great place. We stayed here to do the Tour De Forest ATV ride in May 2023. Plenty of room for us to park 2 trucks with trailers. Inside had plenty of room for everyone. Was clean and ready for us when we got there. Communication with owner of property was excellent. Great place to stay.

The cabin and owner were great! Sadly I have to say the cleaning part of it was not! Personally I think the owner needs to not just take the word of the person supposed to be cleaning it!

Memorable Hunting Trip

Josh is great host. His communication leading up to and during the stay was amazing. The place was clean and the description of the listing was accurate. We really enjoyed using the fireplace after a long day of hunting. We will definitely be returning!

A great little place

I think the place is fantastic, it does feel like a hunting camp which for me and my girlfriend felt like home, there were some great little fishing spots around and its about an hour away for kinzua bridge, the only downside i would say is the road getting to the camp is a bit washed out from the rain so you would need a truck or a high sitting suv, but other than that i thought everything was perfect for us, it's a great place to get away for the weekend and i found it so peaceful, i will definitely be back at some point in the future.

Kind and Helpful

From start to finish, our experience expectations were met and/or exceeded. Josh was not only kind and prompt with his responses, he's a guy who treats others as you'd assume to be treated. You need something, he'll accommodate. You don't need anything, he trusts you, but still tries to suggest. If we could have had a better experience, it would not have been because Josh didn't provide. He's a great guy to work with and consider him a friend now. My Dad, Son and I had a great time.

Amazing

My husband spoke to the owner Josh and they hit it off, this was my first time in the mountains and in a cabin, we got there late not knowing what to expect, the cabin was in the middle of no where and we fell in love, the horse ranch down the road made it a truly happy experience, the people in the area were amazing, Josh stayed in contact with my husband to make sure we found everything, this place will definitely be our pick when we come back..

Comfortable cabin for a weekend of exploring

We enjoyed staying here for a weekend away! Josh couldn’t be a better host! He gave us lots of suggestions for what to do in the area and made sure we knew what to bring with us and what was provided. The cabin had spacious common areas for us to hang out in and plenty of beds for all 5 of us to sleep comfortably. The loft is accessed by pull-down stairs in the ceiling of the kitchen. I wouldn’t want to have little ones up there, but our 10 and 11 year olds loved it! We made use of the dvd collection and the fire pit out back. There’s no AC, but the nights are cool and Josh had fans to keep both sleeping areas comfortable. This was a great place to unplug and have as a base for exploring all that the area has to offer!

Cute camp near flying w ranch

Joshua was awesome. Check in was smooth. Typical camp, but had most of everything we needed. There was no pull out bed in the living room as advertised but we made due. The attic bedroom was fun for the kids but might be a challenge for an elderly person to make it up the tiny pull down stairs. No air conditioning in the attic bedroom, or the front entrance bedroom, but the living room and kitchen can be cooled with a window air conditioner you can put in if needed. The kitchen is very large and spacious and has everything needed to cook. The neighbors were all very nice. So close to the flying w ranch, highly recommend taking a trail ride. The fire pit is awesome, and mornings are peaceful and serine. Nice shower and water pressure. Cant wait to come back.

A great experience!

We were not able to stay as planned due to a family emergency. Instead we gave the reservation to our very close family friends and Josh was amazing at making the process seamless. It was a difficult time and he did what he could to make it easier. We look forward to staying there in the future but our friends said that the place was great! We had never used VRBO before and Josh made it so easy! Thank you!

Well equipped place, with a pretty nice setup. Most of the neighbors are pretty nice and greeted everyone that came through. They gave us useful information on what was near us. The property manager is pretty nice and laid back. He helped us find things to do around the area as well.

Family getaway was greatly a success with a beautiful place over our heads to end every eventful day

It was a great stay, & such beautiful scenery & stuff to experience. I highly suggest staying in those neck of the woods. The cabin was very clean, & cozy. Comfy Cabin in the Woods

Josh was a great host! He's very easy going & his communication was on point. Loved the trophies, especially on the coffee table. No frills, but this cabin has everything you need for a weekend in the woods.
