This place was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The location was great for our golf outing at Mineral mound. Very close to some good restaurants as well. We would stay here again for sure. Host was very responsive as well.

This is a wonderful place to stay. There is a wonderful view from deck! The house fit 9 of us comfortably. It was very clean and was stocked with necessities. The movie room and pool table in basement are great. The property is fairly close to many marinas that rent boats. This was a return trip as we stayed in same house last year. I'm sure we will return.

All decked out with style

Excellent choice for anyone!!! Close to all activities and sights. House is in excellent shape and all things work as should. Plenty of room for all the family for everyone to be very comfortable. Easy to book and communicate with in the process. Will definitely book this place to stay again. Maybe in the spring when fish are biting.

Disappointed

For the cost, we found it lacking. The listing says it sleeps 14, but there were only beds for 13 - the host told us after the fact (after I asked upon arriving, when it was too late to pack an air mattress) that one of the “Murphy beds” broke. The listing says that the master has a king bed and 2 full-sized Murphy beds - there were no Murphy beds at all, just one twin-sized fold-up rolling cot. It says the 2 secondary bedrooms each have queen beds - they do not, they are full-sized beds, and one is under a slanted ceiling where you can’t stand up to get in and out of bed. The pullout sofa in the loft has a sheet/cover around it that was stained and gross - it doesn’t appear to have been removed for washing. The pullout sofa in the basement was so worn out and lumpy that it was painful to lay on for even a few minutes. There were only twin-sized sheets, so it wasn’t possible to make up the pull-outs. There were plenty of extra pillows, but they were stained and gross and there were NO pillow cases aside from the ones on the beds that were already dressed. I don’t know how you can advertise that your place sleeps 14, then only have beds for 13, but actually only have complete bedding for the 3 regular beds. We had to hodgepodge everything together, put people on couches, wrap pillows in twin-sized fitted sheets, etc. There are beautiful swings in the listing photographs that weren’t there, the grill was broken, there weren’t kitchen hand towels. For the cost, .

Great house for a family retreat

Beautiful house. Comfortable beds and lots of space for everyone. Loved the shower in the primary bedroom. Great selection of movies and the movie room and pool table was a big hit. Our only complaint was the pans available to cook with need to be replaced as they are flaking and warped.

Fell short of expectations

Good place for a family getaway. Needed pool table sticks. Also, was in need of a few repairs (broken door glass, kitchen cabinet door hinge broken, deck umbrellas broken).

Beautiful Home

This home is beautiful. We’ve stayed back to back years for our annual fishing trip. We love having so much space and the ability to do laundry and cook!! House was clean and the owner was super easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable stay!

The house is very well cared for. The area is beautiful. Especially since it is in the middle of nowhere. Amazing wildlife. Saw a fox, an opossum, eagle, 3 deer, owl, and many other birds in the area. The management was very responsive. We had a smoke alarm that kept peeping and they sent someone very quickly. My only negative would be that there was not enough garbage bags, toilet paper etc accessible. However, they were willing to bring it for us. It is not a cook’s kitchen but certainly adequate. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Excellent choice!

All Decked Out

This was a nice place for a get-away visit. The place, as stated, had a lot of steps. We truely enjoyed the “Theater” room for relaxing after a day of exploring (video variety was expansive.) The host was responsive after notification of a stair railing problem and had it repaired quickly.

Great stay for our family!

The house was perfect for our group of 14 family members aged 11-80 years young! So much to do at Lake Barkley, Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes. Having the theater room and pool table were great for those of us that got too much sun out on the lake. Restaurants, shopping and stores were close too! Ron was great to work with!

Overall stay was pretty good. Place needs some TLC. Internet did not work during stay. Little outdated but deck and views were great, probably would not stay here again.
