Excellent location, with fantastic panoramic views of ocean, koi ponds, (2) putting greens, lush tropical landscaping, (2 )pools & (2) hot tubs on North Ka'anapali Beach. Tiki torches light up the beautifully landscaped grounds each evening. Updated with new flooring, paint, window coverings and flat screen TV's in the living room and master bedroom. The 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms are all on one floor. Ceiling fans and central air conditioning keep the condo cool for great comfort and sleep at night. Beautiful condo, great location!

This was our first trip to Maui and we had the best time at this condo. Our family of 5 teens/adults had plenty of room. The condo was clean, comfortable, well taken care of, and beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. The view is phenomenal and the resort itself is a great place to stay. We loved the pools and the beach! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

2 Weeks in Maui

We loved our stay in H304, perfect for a family of 5. Tons of pool and beach items in the condo, TVs and AC in all the bedrooms, and the calmness of the 2 pools was wonderful. Greg and Julie were extremely responsive hosts in the lead up to our reservation and if we had questions during. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and it was nice to have conveniences like foil and plastic wrap for when we grilled by the pool already on hand. Personally I’d love to have an Air Fryer added for our next visit to quickly make kid lunches to take back to the pool. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back!! Mahalo. 🌺

Nice location

Nice resort in a good location. Walking distance to grocery store, food trucks and a sort walk to the boardwalk. I was concerned about not being on the boardwalk, but it was just a short walk through a couple parking lots.

Back Home to Maui

I brought my 90-year-old mom back to Maui to see her property after losing her house and the fire in the summer of 2023. The condo was a good homebase for us and we found it to be comfortable and well laid out. Papakea is a lovely resort as well!

Great Condo in a great location

We absolutely loved our stay. Communication was great, the kid's shower was leaking a little We let the front desk know and the manager was in contact within the hour. My husband was able to tighten it himself, but the manager followed up to ensure everything was good. The condo is nicely furnished. The couch was a surprise bonus, it's not your typical pull-out couch, it's more like a lounger extension. My son found it very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. The view is amazing. When you check in, check the schedule of activities within the resort. The washer and dryer were great, they were not your tiny apartment-grade ones they were nice full-size appliances. Great Vacation

Paradise

The location is near the back of the property but the ocean view is still incredible. Papakea is a great resort away from the hustle and bustle. Beds were comfy, they had chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, pool noodles which was great! Couple things we didn’t like was the patio furniture was metal and only two of the chairs had a very thin pad..and under the table is rusty screws which I scraped my knee on while sitting.. The AC unit when on pumps out hot air so if someone is inside with the AC on you don’t want to sit on the patio it’s way too hot. That was kind of annoying and we did not experience that in another unit we rented previously. Big window in the master is not a double pane window so you hear a lot of noise.,we were woken up to a baby crying, people down below being loud outside..previous unit we rented had double pane windows and it made all the difference..plus we were bummed we could not open fully the master bedroom window as we did in the previous unit. Inside furniture chairs were pretty uncomfortable and hard… Overall great time though!

Graduation Trip 2023

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The condo was clean and fit the needs of our family beautifully. The condo is located in a wonderful spot with amazing views. A sand beach is just a short walk from the property. The only 2 things that was missing (in our opinion) was shade and a bar. There is no shade around the pool or the property for those who might want to enjoy the views, but can't endure the direct sun. We also felt that a resort bar would be a nice addition to the property. While those 2 things would be our recommendations for the resort itself - it did not detract from our enjoyment of the condo or the wonderful island!

Family Summer Trip

We really enjoyed staying at the Papakea Resort!! This condo has a beautiful view and is very well stocked with everything you need! The location is great; it's close to good restaurants, shops and beaches!! We enjoyed the resort activities and our girls had fun in the pools! When booking I was a little concerned that we would not have access to sand beaches but we did! A short walk over the bridge in front of the resort and we were on the beach!

Hidden gem in Kaanapali

Our stay at the Papakea was fantastic. We travelled with our college-age son and middle school daughter, so finding the perfect bed accommodations can be challenging. H304 had not only the perfect bed set up, but also everything we needed to keep them both entertained. Check in was a breeze and the facilities were very nice. The kitchen has anything you need to cook and even storage containers and bags to keep it in the refrigerator. They provide lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand buckets and a scoop, a cooler, snorkeling gear, beach towels, golf putters and balls for the putting greens, reusable bags for the grocery store, and even lots of seasonings for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked great for keeping us cool. The view from the Lanai is IMHO the best in the resort because you can see both the pool and the ocean. Morning coffee on the Lanai and sunset views were the best. There are many places to eat (or get shave ice or gelato) within walking distance and I recommend L&L Hawaiian BBQ about a block away if you want an affordable meal. You don't find many $10 cheeseburgers and fries on the island. There are also a wide variety of food trucks just across the street where you can find about anything. Lahaina is a short drive to the south with great sunset views and restaurants. Highly recommend Prison St. Pizza and a walk through the old Lahaina prison. We love this place and would return in a heartbeat. Don't hesitate, just book it!

Beautiful quiet setting, and 10 minutes from great snorkeling at Kapalua. This great location is within walking distance to grocery stores, fish market, and coffee shops. The condo is stocked with everything you need from kitchen spices to snorkeling equipment and beach chairs. Great place.

Exceeded our expectations!

Our stay in H304 at the Papakea resort was superb. My wife, daughter, and 12 year old grandson had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy our time. The unit is nicely updated and has pretty much all you need for your stay to include very nice washer and dryer, air conditioning, (which we never used due to the nice breeze through the unit in the evening), well stocked kitchen with all we needed to prepare meals in the unit, and the location is a short walk to the ocean or numerous stores/restaurants, and a short drive into town. Very nice bonus having the beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. as we traveled to numerous beaches during our stay. Pretty much anything we needed was there. The complex is well taken care of and check-in/out was a breeze.

Fantastic Hawaii Haven!!

Staying at this condo was an absolute breeze from bumper to bumper. It was a last minute booking for me and the manager/owner was very prompt in approving our 2 day stay. Upon arriving, the checkin process was seamless and the front office was very clean, nice and air conditioned and the staff sweet and efficient. When we entered the condo...it was lovely! Fantastic ocean view from both the living room/kitchen and master bedroom. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were fluffy and comfortable with plenty of pillows to have a nice sleep. Bathroom and showers were beautiful with nice water pressure. We didn't make any meals other than one breakfast...but kitchen had everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again! Aloha and Mahalo!

We loved it!

We loved our stay in Maui and at the Papakea. This condo was clean + fully loaded (beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, coolers!) that made it so nice to pack up for any beach adventures! The location is close to everything and really we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We got morning coffee at Bad Ass and açaí bowls at Farmers Market which was a quick walk down the block. We arrived late evening and the staff had us do a quick temp check-in to get us situated. The condo itself is in great shape and would 100% stay here again. We loved the view of the pool and ocean from the lanai. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Will be back. ♥️

Aloha! My wife & I are from the Bay Area in California and have 2 college age children. We both work and have busy lives, just like everybody else with children. Our first trip to Maui was our honeymoon and we just fell in love with this paradise (shocker). We had planned on coming back every year after that trip but actually waited 10 years before our next visit. This was mostly due to having children, jobs, family commitments, etc. After that second visit and falling back in love with Maui again, we knew what had to be done...and that was to buy a place here so Maui can be a permanent fixture in our lives. We were lucky enough to have made this dream come true and now have 2 condos here that we are crazy about.

My father-in-law caught the same bug as my wife & I regarding Maui. He has made Maui a permanent fixture in his life as well with the purchase of 3 condos. His newest pride and joy is this unit here (H304), which my wife and I help him look after. So, Julie and I have 5 total condos we offer to guests ranging from a studio to a 2 bedroom. Having Maui in our everyday life as we do in this capacity is a blessing and we are very thankful. Mahalo!

I think what stood out for us was that this place has a little bit of everything you're looking for in a resort. Location, location, location - you're right on the ocean in N. Kaanapoli , no better place to be. You are walking distance to a large grocery store, eateries and various shops. The grounds are expansive with beautiful tropical landscaping, koi ponds, putting greens - it's big enough to take a walk through. There are 2 sizable swimming pools adjacent to 2 hot tubs to relax in. There are (6) BBQ's that surround each pool which makes BBQ'ng a great time to be had being so close to the action! The lighted tiki torches at night situated near the pools and throughout the grounds really look cool. I can go on and on about the Papakea Resort!
