Beautiful home

Our group ranged from 5 to 65 years old and each of us enjoyed our stay. The owners communicated well, provided snacks and drinks, and had the hot tub ready for us. 10/10 would stay again.

It was cute and clean and very quite. The check in process was very simple. The beds were comfortable, and the snacks and drinks provided were a nice bonus. Some doors do not close due to shifting in the house, but it was not a problem. The hot tub would not heat at all. We did not realize the owner was on property so we did not try to contact him that night when were were trying to use the hot tub. Check out was easy, although we did have to search through emails to find the checkout process. There wasn't a binder to reference what was needed like some VRBOs have. But after searching, we found the expecations of stripping the beds and collecting the towels. Very basic expectations, it was just hard to find what we were expected to do. Overall it was a great experience!

I truly had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was well maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect to the wedding venue we needed to attend. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Great getaway

Cute little property with a country feel. Property was very clean and well maintained. We met up for a girls weekend and the hot tub is what drew us to the property. Hot tub lived up to expectations and we enjoyed an evening of relaxing and chatting away the night in it.

Property was perfect. Hot tub /entertainment room was perfect. We didn’t bring kids but definitely big enough for kids or a larger adult gathering. 15-20 minute Uber to old town Elgin. Would definitely stay again.

Another awesome stay!

Our second time visiting this lovely cottage away from the bustling city yet close enough to drive into town if needed. The new highlight is the addition of a whole new private entertainment room with hot tub, tv, Wi-Fi, and refrigerator! Excellent hosts! Always friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting and staying here again!

Quiet and Cute!

Super cute little place outside of Elgin. Pictures don’t do it justice at all - the property is beautiful. Stayed here for my brother-in-laws birthday after picking them up for the airport. Wish we had booked another night!

Peaceful getaway

Such a beautiful piece lace to stay! The property is much larger than I initially thought and it is amazing! The check in and check out process was simple and painless. The hosts were just an absolute pleasure to work with and they were more than accommodating. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

Perfect Getaway

First off my family and I will be back. This place delivered an isolated county feel with plenty of entertainment, and exploration. The host was quick to respond and in a very kind manner. Relaxation is inevitable here. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family as we had a blast.

Cozy cottage

The cottage is about 25 minutes outside of Austin. It was clean and had some kitchen equipment. The beds were comfortable and great bathrooms with plenty of towels. Each bedroom has a tv. The kitchen is a good size with the sitting room/lounge area. There is one sofa bed to sit on here and some chairs and another tv. The hot tub functions in its own separate room built directly next to the house. Overall a great place to stay

Perfect for our family, quiet and cozy.

The pictures do not do it justice. It’s so well decorated, has lovely bedding, has a great footprint, and you want for nothing. We stayed one night to go to a reunion near by so the location was perfect! We wished we booked it longer considering how much we enjoyed staying in the home. We loved the welcome snacks and, had we used the kitchen for more than popcorn, we would have had everything we could hope for. They provided plenty of towels, all the basic necessities and had plenty of pillows. If arriving at night be very careful not to miss the entrance. The owners were very responsive. It has charm, was clean and very cozy. We highly recommend this home if you do not want to be stuck in a cramped hotel.

Relaxing Stay

A quiet and relaxing place to stay while still being close to Austin city and Bastrop. Enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch while staring into nature. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The cabin was clean and well stocked with snacks, coffee (kuerig), water, and juice. Lovely hot tub too! Would definitely stay here again with the family!
