Great stay!!!! If you’re staying around the Itasca area this would be perfect. 1 min away from the north entrance and across the street is a gas station with anything you need from food to beer! 2 mins down the road is Lobos bar and grill, great place to eat!

Big Timbers

Big Timbers is a wonderful place to stay. It is right at the north entrance to Itasca State Park. It is clean and comfortable and there is plenty of space. I love the cabin feel to the room. It has such a cute gift shop with pizza and ice cream available. We would stay here again.

Great Location

We were lucky to find Big Timbers for our Itasca State Park weekend. The location is ideal being right across the street from the North entrance. The rooms perfect size for a small family or couple. Everything was new and clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the ice cream and pizza from the store on site.

The place is like brand new. Great place to go after a day out on the trails. And a added plus for the kids and adults was ice cream and pizza. High recommend this place.

We loved the proximity to the park and had a really great stay. The host was friendly and helpful. My kids loved the ice cream shop next door. The room was clean and comfortable. I'd highly recommend it!

Trip to Itasca State Park

Christine, the owner of the VRBO, was very friendly and accommodating! The place is lovely and just outside of the park. We rode out bikes into the park both days! We would highly recommend this place! Five star in our book!!
