This was a wonderful property! Great location and an outstanding view. We loved the decorations and thoughtful placement of artwork and little touches. We made use of the record player and games in the game room. We also LOVED the fire pit and time outside. The house was very clean and cozy. The linens were soft and not thin like we have come to expect at most rentals and everyone remarked at how the beds were comfortable- high praise from our group that was mostly seniors! The house was also outfitted with all the amenities you should expect- pots, pans, spices left by others and plenty of room in the pantry. Host was easy to reach and provided lots of great information in the home with the welcome binder including trail information, menus etc. Thank you for such a memorable weekend!

I stay in this area yearly, but this was my first time in this house. Beautiful mountain view in a hollow from the deck. Very clean inside and out. Tons of room. One bedroom on main floor upstairs, full bath, fully stocked kitchen, open but cozy living area, game room with lots of games and books. Three bedrooms downstairs (one with multiple bunks), another full bath. TVs in pretty much every room. Beautifully decorated and homey throughout. Close to Manchester on one side and Bromley on the other. Appalachian trail hiking in between. All a few minutes drive away. Host was extremely responsive and welcoming. This place is great.

We had the best time staying at this cozy mountain cabin. Well stocked and efficiently laid out, it made for that perfection destination for a holiday ski weekend. We hope to revisit again in future!

We loved staying at this property. Extremely clean, great location, and was perfect space for two families. Location was ideal for us, only a few short minutes to Manchester, Bromley, et al. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed your property. The view off the deck was fantastic. The interior of the home was just right, everything fit and was functional. The whole group loved the place and we all want to come back next year at the same time.

This house was exactly as it reads. The views are great, location to both mountains and downtown Manchester are so easy. The best was they are ready for any age group of people! The activities in the house were not lacking, making traveling with kids super easy! The price was affordable and We can’t wait to go back.

Accurate listing, comfortable stay

Its always great when the actual house perfectly matches the listing. Five adults comfortably enjoyed a long weekend in the Manchester area in March 2023. House had everything we needed to cook, lounge, and enjoy our time (including shovels for over a foot of snow during our stay!)

A gorgeous view!

A lovely place, with beds for many guests. The decor was cute and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the place, the toiletries and the well-stocked kitchen. Only downside was a very small bathroom downstairs that was tough for a couple of adults and would be tough for more than two people to share.

Lovely Vermont Cottage

- welcoming host, very good communication - very good use of a smalls space to accommodate a group - the rooms and beds are comfortable and the bathroom renovations are lovely as described in the listing - the collection of board games was terrific - thank-you! - the cottage is old but has been updated. And well maintained.

Rental for our 50th!

The location, views and cleanliness were great. Many games, fire pits and classic old albums are nice additions. The only issue we had was the tap water has a high mineral or metal content, so we relied on bottled water for drinking.

In all fairness, we have a commercial filtration system and test the water regularly. It is well water and while safe to drink, it does have a taste that not everyone likes. We also provided Jerry and his family $100 refund to cover the cost of their water. They were wonderful guests and we strive to make everyone’s stay as pleasant as possible. This is also the first complaint we have ever had about the water having hosted almost 100 guests.

Beautiful home with amazing views

The house was clean and well maintained. The owners were prompt to respond with any questions. Hanging out on the deck was amazing. The views are absolutely incredible. Feels like a peaceful mountain retreat while at the same time being very close and convenient to downtown Manchester. Best of both worlds.

Great vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. The view from the deck was fanastic. There was a babbling brook that we could see from the deck and easily walk down to enjoy. There was an ample amount of seating on the deck. We utilized the barbecue grill, propane fire pit and the fire pit in the side yard. We also enjoyed listening to the extensive record collection at the house. We were lucky to have perfect weather while we were there. It was a great vacation all around.
