Clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient setting in a quiet neighborhood for walking and biking. Close to restaurants (both local and chain) and shopping. Fully equipped kitchen with range, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher. K-Cup maker/small coffee bar. Also drip coffee maker and French Press (ground coffee provided). King bedroom and Queen bedroom with desk. Fun Game Room with foosball, air hockey, cornhole, board games and free snacks! 2 adult and 2 children's bicycles for guest use, private garage.

Close to attractions: 8 minutes from B&O Bike Trail, 10 minutes from Kingwood Center Gardens, 12 minutes from Snow Trails Skiing, 15 minutes from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, 16 minutes from the Ohio State Reformatory, 18 minutes from Malabar Farm State Park, 27 minutes from Mohican State Park, close to Gorman Nature Center, and about an hour from Amish Country. No television, but
free wi-fi internet for your devices and WHOLE HOUSE GENERATOR, so weather won't ruin your stay!

Just as described - clean, comfortable, convenient to both Mansfield and Lexington. We were in town for the races at Mid-Ohio and found a really nice "back route" to the track. The home is well stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen amenities, and being able to put our motorcycles in the garage was an extra, unexpected bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

Quilting and Family Visit

Wayside Guest House is excellent in every way. It is a sweet visit to “Grandma’s House” where one is pampered and cared for Check in simple! Kitchen and bathroom facilities met all our needs and over and above. Every room was Clean and artistically decorated !!

I’ve stayed in a decent amount of VRBOs, and this one is far and away the cleanest of all of them. Fantastic location if you need a spot for an event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Very easy to get to. Follow the instructions from the owners/VRBO for locating the house as google maps sent us across the street. This was a great spot to relax after long, hot, humid days at the course. My only note is that I missed that there was no TV. I would’ve brought my laptop for falling asleep to Netflix or something had I known. No big deal though, just a worthwhile note to others. All in all, this is an awesome VRBO with well thought out provisions and supplies for guests. Good stuff!

Wonderful

Well maintained, plenty of fun. Our hosts thought of everything, bikes, games, even barbecue grill. Washer and dryer combo with the supplies for it. Coffee samples, dishes pots and pans even paper plates. Our boys loved the game room and left some artwork to share.

A slice of Heaven

Our stay at the Wayside Guest House was amazing. This was our first VRBO experience and the owners hit it out of the park. The home was cozy, comfortable, and convienent to downtown Mansfield. Loved the small touches which made our stay feel welcoming. Definitely a must stay if you are in the Mansfield area.

Lovely and Clean

This was, by far, one of the cleanest properties I've stayed at. Lovely neighborhood and I felt very safe. Our only issue, was that there was no TV and felt that it should state it better and in bold letters. While we don't sit and veg at the box, it is actually my down time as I was there for work and needed a bit on "brain inactivity". I work on a computer and we just need background noise and didn't want to look at the computer for that service. But would I stay again? Yes. The only other detail I would mention is that for someone who wasn't religious, the decor may be a bit off putting. Some guests may not feel comfortable with it with their personal lifestyle and beliefs. Simply our observation.

Perfect for Ladies Retreat

The Wayside Guest House is perfect. Everything was so clean. They provide all the amenities and even a few special touches. The location is great. There’s a little market right behind the house and a nature reserve with walking trails maybe a mile down the road. We would love to make this the place for our annual retreat!

Wonderful Stay!

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as delightful as the first! This property is so clean and cute! Don & Joyce do a fabulous job as hosts - we won’t stay anywhere else when we come home to visit! Excellent all around!

Perfect Guest House

This little gem was perfect for our family trip. We attended the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Event and had everything we could need for our stay. We arrived to find fresh cookies on the counter and the kids loved the game room. Thank you for everything. We highly recommend this guest home.

Perfect!!

Don and Joyce were such wonderful hosts! This house was perfect for my daughter and I to rest and relax while she participated in the Youth Trapshooting National Championships. The attention to detail and superior cleanliness made this one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed in. Everything is labeled. Everything you need is in the house to include some delicious treats. WONDERFUL!!! LOVED IT!!!

Our stay at Wayside was better than expected. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. It was very much appreciated that there is no TV. It gave us a chance to "unplug" from everything. Very well done

Very clean, very nice property close to Mid-Ohio. Though we didn't use them, there was a game room, games, grill and bikes, all of which appeared to be new. There were snacks set out and plenty of everything you need while you're there. The only thing missing was a TV, which I hadn't even noticed, but a friend did. Great place!
