Cozy, private cottage with a vintage feel. Only 3 miles to town for conveniences.
Beautiful wood stove inside, and campfire ready outside.
New propane stove and oven in the fully equipped kitchen, along with a dishwasher to save time. Internet and WiFi, along with a flat screen TV.
Comfortable all 4 seasons of the year. Enjoy snowmobiling and ice fishing all winter, great foliage in the fall, and community events all year long.
Just a short ride to town where you can enjoy ice cream, a movie theater, library, art studio, antique shops, a variety of restaurants and a great community feel.
Spend time in the newly updated living room with 3 sides of windows, and enjoy panoramic views of the flora and fauna. Step outside in the evenings and experience stargazing where you can often catch a glimpse of the Milky Way.

The owners were wonderful to work with, communicated with us throughout our stay, quickly responded to questions, & went above & beyond with sweet touches that made our stay special. We would definitely stay at this property again.

It was nice to have have a kitchen so I could cook meals rather than nuke them. Though the microwave came in handy to reheat coffee. Also the Roku TV was a plus. I could watch my regular programs. I was out and about all day so mainly used the Cosy Cottage evenings through the night. The place was nice and clean will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful peaceful cabin

My brother and i came up to Indian Lake to plan a memorial .. this cute and cozy cabin gave us the peace and tranquility in doing so! We have been coming to Indian Lake since we were babies on a family vacations every year because our parents loved this area so much.. the cabin reminded us of our childhood stays in this area and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and truly enjoyable! We enjoyed sitting outside each evening with a cocktail and enjoying the wilderness all around us.. what a beautiful peaceful spot! i would highly recommend this cozy place for a trip to this area of the Adirondacks and the host was so hospitable and was prompt in answering any questions we had! If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place for you! I would gladly rent this cabin again!

The house was cute and very much as pictured.Remote location with no visible neighbors. Location was across the road from the lake so no private access but state run access about a mile down the road. The beds/bedrooms are on the smaller side so if you are over 6 feet tall your feet might hang off the end of the bed but shouldn't be a dealbreaker. The house was clean and drinking water, a bag of ice and firewood were provided. Host was responsive and helpful. Overall a very cute little cabin and we enjoyed our stay. Would book again.

Quaint Affordable ADK Cottage

The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We had no issues upon arrival. The internet and utilities worked as expected. Everything was surrounded by trees and was very beautiful. You couldn't see the neighbors and the road was barely audible. The pictures were helpful but it seemed a little nicer than they suggest. The neighbors didn't bother us at all and we had a great stay. It's right in the middle of so many natural attractions. The hiking was great, the night time fires were wonderful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Property was clean and quiet. Beds were comfy. Some of the pans were not clean, but was able to clean prior to use. No can opener or lighter for the campfire, but we were able to make it all work. Could use some games or puzzles for rainy days. Overall a pleasant stay.

Perfect place to stay!

This cottage is just perfect. Impeccably clean and the owners are sweet as can be. The electric went out briefly due to Hurricane Debbie and within minutes, the owners came to us with a lantern and light. We felt so safe knowing they were right there as soon as something went wrong. Will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!!

A great base for ADK activities

Really enjoyed our week-long stay here. It's a great base for activities in the Indian Lake area and beyond. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Happy Campers

This camp was the perfect location for hiking a few local fire towers and kayaking. The host was very easy to work with and accommodating. The rental had everything we needed. Each bedroom is nicely decorated. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. There is a great seating area outside and place for a campfire. The kitchen has a good variety of cooking utensils/pans.

Clean as a whistle

Last minute we had to find a house to accommodate our family for the weekend so we could pick up our kids from camp. Our planning was awful, so I was really worried when I rented this house last minute. A big surprise when the host was super accommodating on a few of my asks, a bigger surprise when we showed up to the house and it was spotless and smelled amazing. Super cute little country house, clean as a whistle, cozy with all the amenities you need! Small AC in the window but it kept the place cool. Location is tucked behind a Trump flagging Biden hater and an abandoned RV. Politics aside it made me nervous at first because it looked extreme but their were no issues! You have to respect free speech. It was just what we needed. A big thank you to our wonderful host for making our stay pleasurable. We would definitely stay again if the need arose.
