Truchtlaching ist staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort im Alztal mit ca. 1150 Einwohnern und über 200 Gästebetten. Wer Ruhe, Natur und ländliches Dorfleben genießen will, ist hier richtig. Das Landschaftsschutzgebiet des oberen Alztales (die Alz ist der Abfluß des Chiemsees) bietet für Radfahrer und Wanderer ideale Voraussetzungen, erholsame Tage fernab von Stress und Hektik zu verbringen.
