Casa La Colline is a magnificent luxury villa for rent, in the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, located in Vieux-Fort, a charming and traditional fisherman's village.

Nestled in a beautiful tropical park, on the slope of the Caraïbes Mountains, Casa La Colline was built in the purest traditional style of the Creole homes by the famous French woodcraft artisans “Les Compagnons de France”, and has recently been remodelled in a shabby Caribbean chic style.

Our villa is a perfect getaway for groups, couples and friends featuring a 0.45 acres lush garden, 3 en-suite bedrooms, each of them with an ocean view, a TV/Library room, a salt-water pool, big open common spaces, and one of the most stunning ocean views of this part of the island.

Located within 200 meters of the shore, on top of a hill nestled in a quiet and lush environment, it offers an exceptional view of the stunning Les Saintes archipelago, the Caribbean sea, and a parade of cruise ships, sailboats, and sea birds.

Nearby the villa, guests will find a diverse array of attractions including beaches, local food shacks and restaurants which have put Guadeloupe on the map for its acclaimed cuisine.

Casa La Colline is a 20 year-old creole house, built by the famous French woodcraft artisans “Les Compagnons de France” which has been recently remodeled. From the moment you will book with us, you will immerse in our Caribbean Shabby Chic experience. Perfect Getaway

I’ve stayed at several VRBO properties. This location has been THE BEST!! The house is well equipped with all the necessities and MORE to accommodate a large group of people. I became the undefeated ping-pong champion of the week. 😀Severine and Jean Pierre are perfect concierges. They welcomed us, gave great advice for where to go and visit, and local foods to eat. Make sure one has an automatic transmission car to navigate the steep and curvy hills. I arrived stressed and I leave feeling rested and rejuvenated, ready to take on the rest of Winter 2023. Plan to have a wonderful experience at this location.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Villa

Spectacularly beautiful property. Clean, well-maintained, and very well-equipped. True to the photos in every way. The concierges Severine and Jean-Pierre met us there the first evening and were enormously helpful throughout our stay--I cannot say enough good things about them. The property is protected by a gate and an alarm system, very private and very very secure. My only tips for future travelers: 1. the approach to the villa is quite steep, so be prepared to turn off the AC and keep moving for the last hundred meters or so (our little Renault required a running start!) 2. Get detailed directions from Severine and Jean-Pierre, as GPS gets confused near the end. Again, an absolutely stunning property, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

On the top floor, 1 super large 645 sqf en-suite bedroom with 3 twin beds, all of them convertible into queen-size beds,
On the main floor, 1 large 270 sqf en-suite bedroom with a king-size bed and a private terrace featuring a sitting and resting area,
On the lower floor, 1 large and independent 345 sqf en-suite bedroom with a super queen-size bed, a convertible sofa bed and a private terrace featuring a sitting area,
A large fully-equipped American kitchen with a refrigerated wine cellar,
A formal indoor living room,
An outdoor dining room which can hold up to 24 people,
An outdoor sitting lounge,
A 247 sqf Office and TV room,
a Charcoal BBQ area,
A salt-water pool with hidromassage and underwater lights.
Casa La Colline has luxury amenities and equipment including a 65” 4K UHD flatscreen television hooked up to hundreds of channels (French, English, Spanish), wireless broadband throughout the house, and a fully equipped office with a scanner, printer, access to skype, e-mail and Internet to keep you connected!

We are also proud to display a state-of-the-art music system: SONOS where you will be able to stream your favorite music from your phone, internet radio, podcasts throughout the house. SONOS allows you to enjoy whatever you love to listen to, in any and every room.
