Enjoy our meticulously maintained, tri-level home nestled in the southern part of the city. In minutes, arrive at some of Pittsburgh's favorite sites including our world-famous stadiums. This is our actual home. The kitchen provides just about everything needed to prepare culinary specialties inside or grilling on the patio. Three 55" smart TVs to enjoy.
■Cancellations not accepted due to inclement weather. We suggest being proactive & purchasing travel insurance.
■Garage must be requested when booking. If not, it might be occupied w our vehicle.
■Home is not wheelchair acessable.
■CHARGEPOINT Home Flex Leval 2 EV Charger/up to 24 amps in garage for guests. Must request at booking...locked.

This was such a charming and cozy home for us to be in New Year’s week. We were visiting family in the South Hills and this place had great location for all our planned activities! Owner left all instructions, along with any other info we may have wanted in an easy access binder. We loved the Christmas decor in the home, house was very clean and had everything we could have needed!Mary Lou was accessible whenever we had a question, and kept in touch making sure we were ok.Would recommend her home to anyone needing close access to downtown Pittsburgh, or to south hills area too!

Wonderful House for Family Stay

I was very impressed with this house. It's elegantly decorated with plenty of space for 6 people. The location was central to all of the events that were planned for the week. The host answered my questions promptly both before & during the trip. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in Pittsburgh!

Wonderful Home and Host

We couldn't have asked for a better host and home to stay during our time in Pittsburgh. Mary Lou was such a wonderful host and her home is comfortable, clean, and has everything you would need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and location was fantastic for us. Great weekend stay!

We traveled to attend a weekend college commencement ceremony with our two children ages two and 9 months. The baby amenities made our packing so much lighter: high chair, crib, baby gates, and pack and play all provided! Mary Lou was so hospitable and responded to every message quickly. House rules and check out were easy for us to follow with our hands full of kids. We would highly recommend Mary Lou’s property!

Pittsburgh Birthday Trip

We went to Pittsburgh to celebrate a birthday party for my husband and his friends . The house was perfect for the six of us . It was very clean and had everything we all needed. A very nice stay!

We were visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a very nice stay at Mary Lou’s home. As a family of 5 adults (2 couples and a single), the 3 bedrooms, 3 baths was a perfect fit, allowing us to have our private spaces as well as space for together time. It was clean and the beds were very comfy. The common spaces are well set up: the living room has a large sectional with reclining armchairs on each end; there's a dining-room with a large table; and the den on the lower floor is great for continuing conversations or TV watching when others have retired upstairs to bed. The backyard is beautiful and has a large patio with table, chairs and seating areas. It was cold so we didn't spend time outdoors; I hope to return one day in nicer weather. Both the house and the backyard are well decorated; it has an old world European feel. If you enjoy antiques and ornaments, this is the place for you. There are pieces representing many different parts of the world. Mary Lou also decorated the house for Christmas! We were responsible for providing some key dishes for our Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had the space and every tool needed. It was great to be able to cook at Mary Lou's and take our sides and desserts to our full family dinner. Communication with Mary Lou is very easy and she responds quickly. She gave great restaurant recommendations. There is a welcome book with lots of good information regarding the operation of the house, restaurants and places to see.

Beautiful home

The home was lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The back patio and gardens were serene. Everything was as advertised. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. Good location for getting in and out of the city. Would recommend.

Pittsburgh treasure

Our family of 5 had a wonderful vacation in Pittsburgh. This home had plenty of space for all of us and the back patio and landscaping were just beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed. The property owner was so easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions. We highly recommend this rental and would return again if in the area!

Very well stocked place!

Was a great vrbo. Everything as advertised. Close to city. Well stocked with coffee pastries (thanks for those!), drinks, linens. We could have used another bed or blow up mattress but one of the kids slept on the couch. Host was great. And weather was spectacular! Great weekend to enjoy the beautiful back yard.

Wonderful home

Mary Lou's home is beautifully decorated and was perfect for my husband and I, and our 2 adult children and their spouses. The beds were very comfortable and there are 3 full bathrooms. Hotand powerful showers started the day off right. The patio and garden are just gorgeous and private. We spent a morning having breakfast, chatting and enjoying the ambiance. Unfortunately, the weather didn't co-operate or we'd have spent every morning there. The living room is also a great place to hang out as a group. One evening, we enjoyed lounging on the large living room sectional and watching a movie together. The host, Mary Lou is lovely, and communicates promptly. She kindly left us some snacks, and has honestly thought of every possible convenience. We hope her home is available the next time we come to Pittsburgh as a family. This is definitely where we would want to stay. In fact, it's on our short list of our very favorite rentals.

Great Location

The house and host are amazing. Getting into the city is easy and quick to go any way you want to go. It is such a cozy home. If you get the chance it is a great place to stay. My wife and kids just wanted to hang at the house. Awesome experience all the way around.

Worth recommending

This place is like being home away from home. I love Iive indoor plants. And this house has them, well taken care of too. This home is homey and very clean. It’s not for people with knee problem though because of the numerous stairs. We’re just glad there’s railings. Thank you Mary Lou for the wonderful accommodations.

We owned two restaurants: Cafe Matisse and Le Pot. Portuguese is my second language. Now fast forward...for about 18 years, I worked as a real estate agent & am now retired. Hobbies include: cooking, E-biking with my hubby, international travel, cruising, visiting our grown "kids" & camping & exploring new adventures in our Black Series HQ21 RV! There's never a dull moment!!

This is our own "Home Sweet Home". Our neighborhood is great for walking when the weather permits! Brookline Blvd., provides eateries where you can enjoy a quick bite. We are retired and enjoying life. Thus, we decided to open our home for guests to enjoy, make memories & explore the "Burgh!" We love our space. There's still some future projects that we look forward to completing. My husband & I anticipate that our guests will be respectful & tidy. One of our favorite pastimes is enjoying coffee, meals or a glass of wine on our flagstone patio. You'll see different birds & new flowers debut each day! The whimsical painted artifacts throughout the garden were done by my husband. His favorite passtime is working the garden & getting his hands dirty! The propane grill is older but still does a lovely job grilling steaks to burgers, pizza, etc. Visit Moore's Park where you'll find tennis, basketball & pickleball courts, a renovated public pool & sprinklers for kiddos. If you want to ride the bus, the bus stop for downtown is located about 50 steps from the house. The Boulevard offers: CVS Pharmacy, nail salons, bakeries, men's hair salon, gas station, 1st Community Bank, Cafes, Carnegie Public Library, Pitaland, & shops, etc. At Pitaland, you can savor a delicious Gyro, Baklava, etc. Take time out to explore the boulevard. Gotta love it!

hoods,with a small town feel. In only minutes, you can arrive at Mt. Washington to check out the overlook with amazing views, walk down Shilo Street, move on to downtown Pittsburgh, take in a game in one of the stadiums, museums, eateries & so much more.
