When I had questions and contacted Wendy she was very prompt in responding. There were plenty of amenities available during our stay and was very clean.

Place was exactly what we needed. We used it as a hunting cabin. Everything worked, the hot shower was great. Washer and dryer were perfect.

Awesome host, very homey, great communication beautiful scenery, friendly town. Only issue was the futon that wouldn’t set back up but out of host’s control and she tried to resolve it but it was broken. Unforseeable issue. We made do. Highly recommend.

Everything about this visit to this rental was great! Very clean and very well stocked. Wendy was very responsive and you can tell they care about their property. They are also dog friendly and close to downtown so you can easily walk to restaurants or just go for walks around town. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

I loved this place. It was very cute, comfortable and had a nice kitchen. The best part of the stay was working with Wendy on a couple requests including needing to ship a packing to myself at the last minute. She went above and beyond to make sure everything about the stay went smoothly.

Check-in was easy (though it took me a couple of tries to understand how to make the lockbox work)Kitchen was very well equipped, lots of supplies & cookware, everything worked well, nice furniture, attractive outdoor landscaping (lots of birds singing).If there was a drawback, mainly would have to do with climate control. I figured lack of A/C should not be a problem even in July, given 8100 ft. altitude. And cabin was very slow to heat up in the daytime (due to log construction). But conversely, at night we could not get it to cool down. Outside temps dropped into the 50-deg range, but even with all windows and screen doors wide open and central fan running, could not get cool air into the cabin. The bedroom especially seemed to have the least ventilation. Saw hot interior temps even til 2-3 AM.My suggestion; convert that unused chandelier in the loft alcove into a ceiling fan, and open one of those upper story windows a bit (in the summer only of course). I'd bet that could greatly improve the nighttime livability with minimal cost --

The cabin had everything in it that we could possibly want. It was spacious, clean with a full kitchen. So quiet All the time. We saw a great star show while we had a campfire. You could clearly see the Milky Way. Thanks again!

Will stay again.

We liked our stay, but a few minor things would improve the stay. There are several light switches without labels. We wanted to turn on certain lights and were unable to because we could not find the right switch. Also, some switches did not result in any changes of lights and so we were reluctant to try them again, because we did not want to inadvertently turn something off that was supposed to be on. The television sucks, we would have liked to get local news and weather out of Denver, but with the streaming, all news and weather was old. There also needs to be a manual on how to use the TV if you keep the streaming service only. Need cable or satellite, if not the cabin should minimize any encouragement to use TV.

Quiet stay in great area for wildlife, fishing, and rhe outdoors.

I was there in winter to Ice fish. Property was clean and had all essentials. Including outdoor outlets for vehicle block heaters. Town has everything you need in close proximity.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was cozy, clean, had everything we needed and quiet neighborhood. Wendy was very quick to respond with any questions. She also let us know there was a moose in town so we could go check it out. Would definitely stay again.

Nice quiet place to stay after recreating in Walden

Was a great stay here for a home base after fishing all around the north park. Nice quiet neighborhood with everything you may need or want. Nice private drive to park on too which is a plus. Look forward to the next time I stay in Walden, will definitely be booking here over any other accommodations.

Great Cabin

This is a great cabin, rustic but modernized. Very quiet, comfortable, and has a fenced yard. A great deal of care has been put into making this a great place to stay. Charming decor in this genuine log cabin. Visitors' needs have been anticipated and there was nothing lacking. I will definitely be back!
