Private Basement Room Pet Friendly Fenced Yard

Hilltop Hideaway. Relax & unwind at this comfortable basement studio apartment. This location is perfect for outdoor activities like white water rafting on the Ocoee River or exploring nearby hiking trails. There is also great shopping and dining just 5 miles away in the twin cities of Copperhill, TN and McCaysville, GA.

This is a private basement room with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle. No kitchen. No washer/dryer. Private bathroom. Loveseat and coffee table. Comfortable memory foam queen bed. WiFi and Roku TV. Window A/C. Electric heater.

We are pet friendly and there is a private fenced in yard for your furry friend to play. The back side of the house is fully private and only you and your pets will have access to the fenced in yard. Pets stay for free, but please let us know if you will have a pet by either adding them to the booking or sending a message.

My husband and I live upstairs, but we like to give our guests privacy. You may see us outside doing yard work during the summer.

You will park next to the garage in front of the house and walk around to the back of the house to the fenced yard and private entrance. Parts of the pathway are in the grass and slightly downhill.

Excellent location! Quiet and very close to most of the rafting companies for the Ocoee. Having a fenced-in yard for the dogs was great.

It’s our third time staying as the location is perfectly situated for two events we go to in the same weekend. The room is very comfortable and there are several thoughtful touches by the owners. We travel with our dog and the fenced in yard is perfect. Our dog also loved the basket of dog toys to play with. Water pressure/temperature and WiFi all great.

Solace in the sky

I would highly recommend staying here. It's the perfect little spot for a relaxing weekend away- with your pup! Location was great as we went to Blue Ridge one day and Helen the next.

Perfect Stay

This is our second time staying here and it's the perfect place for me, husband, and our two dogs when combining visits to the Ocoee River and Blue Ridge. Accommodations are comfortable and the fenced yard is perfect for the dogs. Appreciate all of the special touches like sodas and snacks, dog bed/toys, and extra towels and blankets.

One night stay

My boyfriend & I stayed here with our 2 dogs on our trip back to Illinois. The location was extremely nice, and the no pet fee helped us alot!! We enjoyed the cozy room, and backyard for the night. And would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place...just like all of the pictures. This was a great little get away for myself and my husband. It was just the right distance to McCaysville and Blue Ridge. Would definitely come back.

Weekend get away.

Spent the weekend visiting with family who live in Ducktown, TN. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a quiet area. It was easy to find and centrally located to Blueridge, Ducktown, Cleveland, and McCaysville. Close to restaurants (Want Some More Cafe- was GREAT!) and activities. It's a great find for our visits. We will book again.

Restful Stay

The room is very nice, and comfortable. Other than not having facial tissues we had everything we needed. The way to get to the entrance could be improved with an actual walkway, stepping stones or something to walk on besides the grass. The grounds outside are not well maintained, and detracts from how pleasant the inside is. Overall we are please with our stay.

Location

My husband and I visit Tennessee (Gatlinburg, Pigeon forge) every fall. This fall we decided to try a new location. I found this location after searching online and it was perfect distance to all the areas we were interested in visiting. You have about a 30-60 minute ride to various places in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia. Thank you to the property owners for providing a reasonably priced, clean location to rest after a day of adventure.

Just what we needed

My husband, dog, and I fully enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for the Blue Ridge Parade of Homes and to raft the Ocoee River. This was the perfect location between our activities and close to town for restaurants, breweries, and shops. The location is right off the main road so very convenient, but little traffic noise and feels like your way into the woods. The studio is surrounded by a fenced in yard making it perfect if you’re traveling with your pup. The hosts had lots of nice touches like snacks, coffe/tea, and water and sodas in fridge. We visit this area frequently and would gladly stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Ran up to the mountains with my dog and was won over by the fenced in yard honestly along with price! She sniffed her heart out every day. There are poop bags present if you forget. A bed, toys, and bowls are provided and she loved the orange ball in particular. Very clear check in and a booklet provided with more instructions and things to do. Love the addition of items to order at the restaurants. You’ll see wildlife and maybe your dog will be confused if a deer is a friend or not

Clean, dry and safe from the elements

Thunderous stormy weather upon arrival a bit muddy and gutter water flow near the access. Great comfortable place, very helpful host and beautiful countryside even with the clouds but line of sight in the wilderness renders cell/internet connections a challenge. Copy your instructions down in case of no signal upon arrival. Who I was meeting in the area had phone challenges throughout the summer she thought was her phone but it is the area line of sight signal towers. I was very happy with the clean, dry space.

Cherokee National Forest and Blue Ridge

Great place for the two of us & our dog. It was nice being able to let him out in the fenced yard area. The walkway/path & gate entrance to room could use some attention if you have any issues with walking. The hosts had coffee & snacks in the room for us. The room was nice & our yard had a great view. It is a great location, not too far from town(s) & close enough to many places to enjoy day trips.

This property is exactly as shown. The owners did a great job with the space they had to work with. Excellent water pressure with a nice big shower head. There was a variety of snacks and drinks on arrival
