Spacious lakefront cabin, perfect for your family get-a-way

5 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin to relax and play on the beautiful Wood Lake. The home features a large deck, screened in porch, kitchen, living rooms, and master bedroom overlooking the lake. Bedrooms and full bath upper and lower levels. Fully equipped kitchen, and game room with pool table.
Ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming, water sports, and fishing. Water side garage with kayaks, splash pad, life jackets, fishing poles, and yard games. The lake has a sand bottom and is very shallow at entry. Private, flat lot walks out to dock. Waterside fire pit (fire wood provided).
Pontoon available to rent for additional charge.

We are renovating the kitchen and bathrooms winter 2025- spring 2026. Rentals between Memorial and Labor Day are by the week, Friday to Friday.

Note, Ring security cameras are present at the front and rear entrances. No video is saved, and alerts are deactivated during rentals.

Enjoyed being on the lakeshore. House is big enough so everyone feels at home. Sunrises are the best, right over the lake!

Beautiful location and spacious rooms and fit our needs great. Overall the house was clean and well kept but unfortunately there were dead mice in the closet of one of the lower bedrooms.

This our 3rd year doing a family get together with our adult kids. The perfect mix of relaxation and relatively easy access to activities in the Cities and Duluth. The beautifull house and great kayaking were also a hit. We'll definitely be back.

This place is fantastic! We had family members ages 2-77 and had such a wonderful week enjoying everything it has to offer. The house is large and has everything you need and more. Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy or gather together in the dining room or around the huge kitchen island. The kids had a blast playing in the shallow water and on the lily pad. We used the kayaks, float tubes, water toys and kids fishing rods. There are also fun toys and games inside! We took the pontoon out for relaxing rides and loved seeing eagles, blue herons and loons. Brian was easy to contact and very helpful with any questions we had. This home is an absolute gem!

This is a very spacious and comfortable home. There were large bedrooms, several dining areas, and multiple game rooms. We especially enjoyed fishing and boating on beautiful Wood Lake. There was not enough time to take advantage of all the recreational gear --- kayaks, paddle board and canoe.The AC kept us comfortable on days with 100 heat index.The perfect spot for a great family memory.

Great view

The home is lovely. Great views and lots of room. The only improvement could be updating the mattresses. Wall electricity didn’t work in one of the lower bedrooms. Owner said he’s working on getting it fixed.

Better than the pictures!

We loved our stay here. Very comfortable and spacious. The pictures don’t do justice to the setting imo
every room on the lake side has a beautiful view of the water. It being October we couldn’t enjoy all the activities but we could tell it would be incredibly fun in warm weather. The foliage was gorgeous!

Two Weeks of Relaxation

The home was perfect for our family to all be together. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very quiet and lots of room for everyone. Fishing and weather were good. We hope to go back next summer. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

A Perfect Lake Week

This was our second year staying at this location and it continues to meet/exceed our expectations. We enjoyed quality family time, relaxing, playing games, kayaking and rides on the pontoon. The boys even got in a couple rounds of golf while the ladies relaxed by the lake. We will definitely look at this place again.

A Great, Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay! My father brother and I have come up to Wood Lake since the mid 90s fishing. Covid shut down the cabins we stayed in and we wanted to renew our time up here. This property was perfect for that. Beautiful home with everything we could have asked for. Can’t wait to stay again.

Girls Weekend

This is a gorgeous, beautifully decorated home. The bedrooms were cute with very nice bedding, and the bathrooms were supplied with quality soaps. We had wonderful views of the lake and woods. We were disappointed that the wood fireplace was out of commission, as that is one of our go-tos when selecting a vacation home. This home has a few levels so you need to be able to walk up and down stairs.

Spectacular home in a beautiful setting!

We loved staying at this gorgeous home in the woods! It had 6 wonderful bedrooms with a HUGE master suite. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need and it was immaculate when we arrived. We had a slight issue with the lockbox upon arrival but the host was extremely communicative and called multiple times to ensure we were all set. Our family would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!!!

nice place, huge,

lots to do and see but we ran out of time especially as my daughters ran the Rugged Maniac obstical course at Wild Mountain. Wonderful rooms clean except liquor fridge had mould. Everything else was perfect.

Great Family Time

Our family of 5 and my sister stayed for the week. The biggest hits were the kayaks, the fire ring and the foosball table. Some great family time cooking together in the large kitchen. Our kids are all in their 20's, so everyone also appreciated the ability to spread out and get some space to ourselves. A wonderful house that we hope to visit again!
