Riverfront Cabin! Mountain Views, Pool, Hot Tub, Fishing, Tubing, Fire Pit, WIFI

This lovely riverfront cabin is located along the Hiwassee River. Built in 2006, this cabin has nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. The cabin was remolded in June of 2022 with all NEW furniture and appliances! There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs and features a NEW king-sized bed. The master bath is adjacent and includes a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The two upstairs bedrooms are both furnished with two NEW queen beds in each room. The second full bathroom is also located upstairs. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with TVs with internet capability. Netflix and YouTube TV are provided.

The cabin is equipped with a main-level laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with NEW appliances for cooking, and there is a large dining room table for family meals. The open concept living room includes a fireplace.

The true gem of this cabin is the rear covered porch with rocking chairs, TV, and a hot tub for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying a beautiful sunset. A charcoal grill is also available. Walk down to the river to go tubing, trout fishing, or build a campfire. There are two automatic fish feeders on the property so, trout are always nearby. Trout are also stocked just up the river making this a prime fishing spot. If you just want to cool off, enjoy our community swimming pool (available Memorial Day-Labor Day).

Our location is just minutes from Lake Chatuge, boat rentals, grocery stores, local boutiques, restaurants, and a hospital. It is also close to Brasstown Bald, Helen (15 miles away), Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Golf Courses, Spas, Appalachian Trail, NE Georgia Wineries, Zip Lining, Gem Mining, White Water Rafting, Waterfalls, and Scenic Mountain Driving.

This was our third year in a row at this venue. The house is always neat and clean and Doug and Sarah are exceptional hosts. We look forward to returning next year.

What a place to stay!

Relaxing Get Away

The home was a in a great location. We were close to town, the lake, hiking trails, water falls, and many other activities and locations. Additionally, when we weren’t in a hurry to go somewhere, we enjoyed the creek that was right behind the house, fire pit, community pool, and just sitting on the porch.

Heaven on Earth

Great family getaway!

Great location, so close to Helen and many historic sites. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, large dining area. Lovely view from porch, hot tub, rocking chairs. Walk to beautiful Hiawassee river, fun for kids and adults.

Our family's happy place

This is our second time staying. Sara is a wonderful host. The home has plenty to do and is always clean (fishing, swimming, tubing, hot tub, fire pit, etc.) but if you want to adventure some there is plenty to do for reasonable cost (horseback riding, lake Chatuge, hiking, waterfalls, zip lining, snuggling capybara, etc.). Always a wonderful vacation for our family. We are planning again for next year!

Gorgeous Place to Stay!

My family loved this home and location. It is right on the river and in a friendly neighborhood with just a short drive to Hiawassee or Helen. The owners are very helpful and answer questions in a timely manner. We will recommend to others and try to stay again if we come back to the area.

If you are looking for a tranquil place to rest and relax I highly recommend this cabin. It was extremely clean, updated, in a quiet location. It is in a good proximity to town. We will definitely be visiting it again!

Perfect

This was a perfect location for a family meet up. The cabin was perfect and my 15 yo son didn’t want to go explore anywhere but the river. He caught so many trout that we had to make him come inside. We cooked on the grill several nights. Grocery stores and restaurants were convenient to the cabin. In fact we all said we will make sure we save this property as our favorite so we can return often.
