Designed with our guests' comfort in mind, our home is thoughtfully curated. Comfy living room, equipped eat-in kitchen with dining table. 2 Cozy BR, 2 BA, 2 workspaces, 2 large decks for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view!

The space
Our 120 plus year old home is a great mix of old and new. You'll be able to feel the history as you walk across the occasional creaky original floor board and look out at the stunning views.

You'll enter the house on the second floor and will be welcomed into the eat in kitchen, filled with everything you need to prepare a great meal. You'll then find the comfy living room where there is plenty of sitting room for the whole group to enjoy the amazing city views, lounge in front of the TV or play a board game!

This floor also has a spacious balcony overlooking the city with twinkle lights above. This is our favorite area to lounge, dine and BBQ.

Note: there is a queen sized blow-up mattress available to accommodate 2 extra guests. There are extra sheets, comforter and towels provided.

Upstairs you'll find the primary bedroom loft with a queen size bed, full bathroom, picture window, walk-in closet and laundry room. We ask that our guests be mindful that our charming old house has low & sloping ceilings upstairs.

Downstairs the second bedroom has a comfy full sized bed. At the end of the hall you'll find an office space and the full bathroom. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware of the 6' ceilings in the bathroom.

The four seasons room is both a serene private workspace and a comfy spot to sit and enjoy the views of the city and the birds in the garden. This room connects to the 3-tiered fenced in backyard. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs with a $150 Pet Fee per dog.

Perfect for couples, friends & Fido, so don't be surprised if you find a dog hair or two.

Guest access: Guests have access to the entire 1300 sqft home and fenced in back yard.

Other things to note:

Parking: There is ONE free spot available directly outside the home, it is marked with white paint. There is additional free parking for further up the hill.

Mobility: Our historic home has many sloped and low ceilings (6' in downstairs bathroom) along with steep stairs inside and out. We kindly ask that our guests be mindful moving about!

Neighborhood: Our home is located on a diverse street in urban East Allegheny. It is walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops, parks and stadiums with a city feel. We have great neighbors and enjoy being close to the best of Pittsburgh. If you have any questions about the area, don't hesitate to reach out!

Families with small children: We would love to welcome your stay, however we want to make sure you’re aware that there are many steep steps around the home and back yard. The home has not been child-proofed, and there is a balcony and lower deck both with railings. The property features two showers and there is no bathtub.

Nice location with great view! Enjoyed the stay! Furniture was comfortable and beds were very nice. The house was built a long time ago as with most houses in Pittsburgh but was renovated and nice! With older houses in Pittsburgh some of the ceilings are low as I am 6ft 4 but nothing I couldn’t handle. Had an amazing time for the Steelers game! Go Steelers!!

This is a great location base yourself out of and see all Pittsburgh has to offer. They had everything you need to cook a great meal, relax in a warm sunroom or take in the incredible view of the city from the multiple decks. We’ll definitely be back the next time we are in town.

The house was immaculate! We loved all the places to gather and be together, kitchen, living room and especially the outdoor deck with the stunning view of the city skyline. We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the city from the rear decks were amazing! The large, well equipped kitchen made meals easy and enjoyable. We were able to walk to some great dining spots, and easily drive to others. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house, awesome views, pretty close to most popular spots in Pitt, but the street the house is on was pretty quiet, like we never really saw anyone else. It's on a hill, but it wasn't bad. Greatful for the amenities available, and there was even a bottle of wine for us and our party!

Genevieve and Kerrie were fantastic hosts who made the entire process SO easy. Parking was right outside the door and entry to the residence was simple. The property itself was so charming and had all the amenities we could have wanted or needed. It was conveniently located near all the hot spots so getting around was easy as well. I would most definitely choose this property again for my next trip to Pittsburgh.

Great view and location

Great spot for visiting Pittsburgh with an incredible view of the skyline. Easy walk to PNC Park, Heinz Field and Strip District. Street parking is a bonus when have a vehicle. Host was very responsive and made check in easy with frequent communication.

Unbelievable Views

What a perfect location for anyone visiting Pittsburgh. We stayed here to see two concerts in the city and the location was perfect to drive or catch an Uber in. Easy to park your car and leave it for your visit if you wanted to! We even snuck a trip to the Rock and Roll HOF in Cleveland! Hosts were easy to contact if needed. By far the best part was the beautiful view of the city day or night right from the back porch! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and providing everything we needed for a safe, clean home away from for the weekend! We will be back!!
