Cozy Cottage with amazing views on the lake.

This cottage is a 2 bedroom 2 bath mobile home. Sleeps 6-8 people and has multiple porches with views of the lake. The dock has an outdoor grill and bar area with a single boat lift, surrounded by shady cypress trees. Enjoy swimming and skiing right off the dock.
Panoramic views with great fishing opportunities. Bring your boat or rent one from the local marina. Public boat ramp within 1/4 of a mile. Lake Blackshear is a 8500 acre man made lake located along the Flint river. Our Cottage is located on the desirable south end. There are multiple restaurants located on the lake with boat access.

Nice quiet weekend

Our stay at the property was good. The place looked like the photos and had most of the basics we needed for a short trip. The check-in process was smooth, and the host provided clear instructions, which we appreciated.

Perfect!

We had a perfect weekend stay! We were there for a tournament and our time spent on the dock was absolutely amazing! The house was just right for us and so cozy & comfortable! Can’t wait to come back again!

Graduation Weekend

We had a wonderful time. Check in was easy, no issues the whole time we stayed. The house is quiet and cozy. We have family close by so we’ll definitely be back. We love the dock! We spent most of the weekend grilling, swimming and fishing.

A Unique Stay !

We typically choose private places, but the neighbors and their pets were nice and we felt comfortable. LOVED the boat dock, lots of birds and turtles. King bed was very comfortable. Go to Stripling's and get stuff for the grill, only a mile away. Want to come back with friends and the boat.

Great Weekend Get-a-way!

Great experience this weekend! The property was well kept, clean and met all our needs for a quick weekend vacation. The house was clean, well stocked and felt very homey. The grill on the boat dock was perfect addition to the house.

Cute little spot on the lake!

Great house on the lake for a quick weekend getaway from Atlanta. Loved the layout and has all the amenities one would need. Access to a private dock for fishing or to secure a boat. Screened porch gives a great view over the lake. We enjoyed our stay!

Great property

Well stocked quaint home with an awesome dock. Great sunset view, quiet neighborhood, beautiful yard. Beds were very comfortable. Only negative were cockroaches that needed to be treated.

Beautiful lake house

The property was beautiful, right on the south end of the lake, it was very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. The beds were very comfy and the owners were available and very pleasant by phone or text for any questions that we had.. we will definitely book this place again. We had six adults, a teenager and an 7 year old and it was perfect.

Weekend getaway

Comfy beds, space was clean and had everything we needed. Easy use and access of dock & boat lift. Only downfall was I wish I knew before our boat would not fit under bridges but not the owners fault . We all enjoyed our time here :)

It is not a cottage, it is a single wide old trailer. We expected a better experience. The lake was beautiful, but the place you rent the boat (awful). Would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

Loved it!

Loved the dock and view of the lake. We spent most of our time there or on the boat. House was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable, although I hit my head on the ceiling fan a couple times...lol. I will say to make sure you bring bug spray because they can get pretty bad at night.

Great stay!!

My fiancé and I stayed for the weekend. The house was perfect! Very cute and just what we needed. The dock was by far our favorite part!!! If we weren't on the boat we were on the dock. We literally only used the house for sleep and showers lol. Our stay, check in and check out was actually so smooth we never even spoke to the property owner. I would highly recommend this property for a couple or family of 4-6.

Pleasant and relaxing vacation

This property has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We spent a lot of time fishing on the dock (not one nibble in 4 days!) The house was very clean and inviting, but the dock area had not been cleaned and we struggled to find cleaning products to wipe up cob webs and dirt before we were able to enjoy it. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. The only thing we missed was a fire pit outside to enjoy the lovely evenings. Communication with the host was super fast and easy.

Just perfect!

We came solely just to sit on the awesome dock and do some fishing, and that exactly what we did! We caught several catfish both Friday evening and most of the day Saturday. We used Tripple S punch bait with Magic Bait mesh hooks and caught some on just crickets. As far as the house, it was very clean and well accommodating! Everything was just perfect! We will definitely stay again!
