Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is the perfect getaway in the Sierras for you to enjoy year round activities with your family. In the summer, enjoy a short drive to Pinecrest Lake where you can enjoy a day of swimming, hiking, fishing, outdoor movie theatre and more! Winter activities include Skiing/ Snowboarding at Dodge Ridge, Ice- Skating or the snow park in Lealand Meadows. This 3 bed 2 bath cabin 2 story cabin has a gas fireplace and front large porch.

The location was great . The cabin was charming and well maintained. Although there was tree trimming for 2 days in front of the cabin. It was set up by the HOA there. I wish there was notice . Anyway, besides that my family and I had a great time . Thank you !

We stayed at the Granite Cabin for a Father’s Day family get together. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Although close to the highway, traffic noise was limited during the day and quiet at night. Strawberry is a nice corner of the Sierra Nevada. Plan on cooking your meals early in the week as local restaurants are closed. We likely will stay at the cabin again.

Wonderful weekend in Strawberry/Pinecrest!

The property was as advertised! Clean, orderly, well-stocked, and a great location. The location in Strawberry is a nice location to get to Pinecrest Lake easily (a plus was that the fish were biting so the kids had a fun time!). The communication prior to our arrival was excellent and Ty, our property point of contact, made sure we were ready to enjoy our stay. Ty was prompt in responding and flexible to allow us a 1-hr extension on our checkout. I would highly recommend this particular cabin and the property manager. Thank you sharing your cabin and for making our weekend enjoyable!

Fun stay

Beautiful cabin. Very clean and comfy. It had everything we needed and more. Very close to the river where we enjoyed hiking and a short drive to pinecrest to play in the snow. We would definitely recommend this cabin for fun vacation in the beautiful mountains!

Great cabin, we had a great stay. We normally bring our trailer up to camp with friends at Pinecrest but opted for a cabin this time - it was only a 4 minute drive from our friends’ place at the lake. It had everything we needed and more (kitchen amenities as well as fun stuff for the kids). Easy check in process and host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks!

Great location and comfy vacation home

We stayed at the Granite house in Strawberry for a weekend spring ski trip. We arrived at the property very late and were happy the home was warm and completely stocked with everything you could need. There were plenty of beds, pillows, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances. We were impressed by how nicely maintained the cabin was and how clean it was too. There were games for the kids and sleds, so they played outside a lot. The fireplace was perfect for drying wet clothes from the day. The master bedroom is downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, both with bunk beds and an additional bed in each room. We could have easily slept 10 people. There was also a pack-and-play, which meant we carried less with us. The house is next to the Strawberry Inn, we walked just a few hundred feet and had breakfast there. The country store is just across the street. Dodge Ridge was an 11-minute drive. We would definitely come back.

Our Pinecrest Getaway

My family (wife and two kids) has been going to Pinecrest every summer since the kids were very young. They’re 23 and 26 now. We normally stay in our 5th wheel. This year, we decided to change things a bit, and we went the VRBO route. We chose this particular cabin (Granite) for price, location, and they allow dogs. My grand dog, Archie, appreciated being able to travel with us. The cabin is stocked really well, and it is apparent that the owner(s) keep up on routine maintenance (appreciated). It is very clean, quiet, and located within 5-6 minutes of Pinecrest Lake. We stayed 4 nights here, comfortably, and our days were packed. From relaxing and having fun playing board games, to fishing at the lake and Lyons Lake, our trip was pretty awesome. Mia’s Pizza (5 minutes drive west) was great also- didn’t have to cook our last night there. It was a little different this year, not staying in our 5th wheel, but it was a good different. We didn’t have to plan/ pack what we normally do. I’d definitely stay here again, and my family agrees. We hated to leave, but ‘normal’ life must go on. Check it out, plan and book the Granite cabin, you won’t be disappointed.

A perfect spot

This cabin is well cared for and in a fantastic location. A short drive to skiing and fun at the lake with hiking trails all around.

Beautiful cottage

This is a great cabin in a great location. Our whole family went to this cottage for Christmas. The surrounding snow is beautiful. The owner also specially decorated Christmas lights and Christmas trees so that our children can unwrap presents under the Christmas tree. We all like this cottage and will come again next timeâ€ïžđŸ˜Š
